I think I might have a thing for series. I don’t look out for them, but I am tempted to pick a series to read over just one story. In this case, though, I actually read Spicy & Sugary first and just after I read Beast & Feast which is the parent story. No worries, though, they both can be read as stand alone just fine since the main characters are different. Anyway. Spicy & Sugary made me wonder if people really find themselves in this kind of situations, having someone inviting themselves to live with you out of the blue. I guess this happens sometimes? I’mnot sure how realistic this is, but I managed to only think about it for the first few pages.

Moving ahead, this is a digestible manga. I must say I did enjoy the parent story more, but I wouldn’t skip this one either. The characters are likeable, the art is nice. I would have liked some more in depth, but it works as it is.

It didn’t make it to my top 10 mangas, but it’s a nice short read.
