Need more of the cute, odd, and overall strange world of Alien Nine? Then Alien Nine Emulators is for you! If you liked the original manga and want to see the story progress even further, then you need to pick this up. The story's just as weird, confusing, and quirky as it was before and the art style is still perfectly moe in the most ironic way possible. As a plus, we even get to see one of the main reasons Kumi hates being class president! Now put on your Borg and roller skates, and don't forget your lacrosse net, because you still havea few more aliens to catch!

Personally speaking i really adored and enjoyed some of the concepts in Alien Nine, so when the original trilogy left some gaps unfinished, my hopes were high for more answers and satisfaction in this sequel! However i did not find much enjoyment in this reading experience. First off, if you liked the previous artstyle you can rest assured that it will continue with more aliens, familiar faces and new uniforms as cute and gory as you've remembered them to be ☆ Some new skillmoves are fun to read and exciting! Fuzzy eyebrows show their use! A mystery gets resolved! On the downside for me the maincasts actionsfelt out of character and events didn't line up with the worldbuilding previously established. Overall the pacing feels off, sometimes rushed and the ending felt rather hollow, unfitting, might I say alienating, aha..

The shortcomings gave me a hard time all in all & while at least not ignoring all mysteries of the trilogy i felt unsatisfied with the amount of answers this sequel brought.
