Reviews for The Celebration of Haruhi Suzumiya

Surprisingly to date nobody has done a review on this anthology. The "Haruhi Comic Anthology" (or as Yen Press published it, Celebration of Haruhi Suzumiya) is as the title suggests, a manga anthology of various mangaka as a homage to the Haruhi series. Most stories are 4 pages long and are usually some unfunny gag (the comic about puns made no sense) or some character interaction referencing the show. As it stands this anthology is a resolute 'blah' all around, by this point Haruhi-chan had already been on serialization and it did everything this manga wanted to but better. Quite a shame on how this franchiseturned out, though... And that's it, basically.
