Reviews for Soumatou Kabushikigaisha
Back to MangaLanterns are symbols of your life, a flashback you might say. When one gets to sit down, and just look back at their life, they will see the real story behind their experiences, be it from their perspective or others. It is really scary to be able to look down in the past and what has lead to what you are right now. The experience is both hell and a bliss, well... it depends on how have you lived your life. This manga knows how to re-tell a story. The characters are all unique and has their own story to tell. The art is fair, its simple with not that much detail, but it's the simplicity that makes it enjoyable.
This manga capsulate the saying," You are a villain in other's story". The choices you make in your life is detrimental to not just your life, but the one's near you as well.
I really enjoy reading this manga, some stories send me shivers. Hope you enjoy the read as well!
RLC is one of those obscure gems that you may randomly come across on the internet (Just like the Revolving Lantern Company itself) It's a company where you can go and rewatch your life from the moment you are born... So alluding to this fact, most of it is just short stories of all sorts of different people. There are subtle twists and turn that you may or may not see coming, and you'll see that the further along you are into the manga, the more absorbed you get into its stories. It's a relatively short yet remarkable read, something I genuinely recommend if youare interested in the premise. Suffice to say, there is also an overarching story going on in the background, but I'd rather not spoil.
The art, especially the eyes, can put you off sometimes. But it's good, nonetheless.
