Reviews for Huh? I'm Just a Normal Girl!
Back to MangaBoring, boring, boring. The author seems to be aiming for some sort of slice-of-life, but with characters this bland, it ain't gonna work in a thousand years. And the MC solves the problems of the people around her too easily, a disease that sadly infects this whole reincarnation genre. In short, it's just mediocre. Not as bad as other stories in this genre, but can be never called good.
In my opinion, the pace in the storytelling started out to be quite slow and enjoyable which I enjoyed it a lot (a world without problem) as it gets more exciting. Well, it is the typical reincarnation type. However, I would say that it is unique as it is a blend of reincarnation and shoujo. Being in the shoujo genre, there isn't much romance or shoujo-ish feel in it. I would say that it is quite acceptable for guys to read it as well. In terms of the artwork, it is your typical shoujo drawing with sparkles and flowers at the background at times. Ihave no issue with it. Well, the main character is drawn so cute and fluffy, I have to give the artwork a nine out of a ten.
In terms of characteristics, I would say that the main character is lovable. Being a female lead in shoujo, she doesn't give the vibes that she is weak at all. She is more like a wolf in sheep clothing, a shounen main character's attitude in that cute adorable shoujo-ish girl. As far as we all know, reincarnation are all born with mary sue main character. There isn't much different in this as well. Similarly, the story slowly goes as it try to leave the mary sue tag.
Overall, it has good potential. I certainly enjoyed reading it so far. Frankly, there are plenty manga with reincarnation that is quite similar to this one, but I would put this as special with a shoujo genre (no ecchi things as well).
A very simple and average story that had the potential to be something big. The story follows Lilliana as she learns about a world resembling Europe during the dark ages. In the first 11 chapters, the story resembles a 'feel good' slice-of-life manga. The pacing is on the slower side of the spectrum. She creates items to make everyday life easier for everyone around her. For instance, she suggested compost fertilizers, created steamed buns, and patented dandelion coffee. The plot points are predictable because of the manga's use of tropes. For example, the corrupt church trope can be inferred before chapter 11. After chapter 11,the rising action begins with the kidnapping and disease events. The climax, falling action, and denouement were compacted together into 1 chapter. Lilliana finally decides to reveal her past memories to her parents. The parents chose to nonetheless accept her and they live a normal life together.
The manga is effective in conveying its theme of failure leading to improvement. Lilliana is shown to be able to solve any problem successfully on the first try. Lilliana feels a sense of powerlessness after encountering sick patients. The manga becomes self-aware when Lilliana's father tells her that she lacks failure, which emphasizes the theme.
Overall, this manga has a simple plot that costs almost 0 brainpower to consume. The characters had the potential to develop into greatness. However, the rushed end shows that the author intended for this manga to be boring and unsustainable in the long term.
When I started reading this manga, I enjoyed it and I thought that there would be more to the story. I was shocked and disappointed when I've reach the last chapter, I didn't even know that I was at the last chapter. It ended abruptly I thought I would see her powers more. I rate the story as 5 it was mediocre and there's really nothing into it. The art is quite good, the characters are bland, and i only enjoyed the first part but then the story was just rushed so I was annoyed. Overall it's a "meh" kind of manga, we can compareit to the head of a shrimp, you really can't eat it.
