Since this doesn't have any reviews yet, I'll give it a shot. The story was very simple, a young high school girl works errands for a publisher company, and happens to become an assistant for an erotic fiction novelist who himself is 32. This at first seems to be an odd pairing, but works out since he displays cute characteristics. He is in search of a pure kiss, something he's forgotten and wants to remember, and whilst the girl, Setsuna Iwato, assumes he is a perverted man along with the rest of men, she discovers that it may not be so. 9/10 The Art was beautiful, descriptive, andoften cute. I honestly have no complaints.

10/10

Each character has their own distinct personality, and whilst this is a one shot some character development is shown in both characters.

9/10

I truly thoroughly enjoyed this one shot, it showed a different side of shoujo which was both different and strangely intriguing. By the end I was smiling like an idiot, but what can i say? My only regret is that this doesn't continue, for such a distinct storyline and the way things ended, there was space for much more to happen.

10/10

Overall this is a nice short story for those interested in the genre, and for those who don't mind the age gap. I would highly reccommend this, as its not often I give a one-shot such a high rating.

Well, this is a re-edit of a manga I was told would be a one shot and it seems it is now an actual series going on. So my thoughts before were that I said I actually liked the little one piece I thought this was and my thought still stands. The thought of a perverted guy wanting to write a sweet romance is actually rather cute and yet he seems to play our main character by tugging her around. It’s sad because when many times the rather sweet love that the two seem to share is broken by Seta becoming goofy over the fact hecan use the material for his new book. It breaks the mood that they so nicely lined up and it happens so often that I feel like the story is going astray. I also am not really fond on the fact that Seta does so much to make her love him (Although he isn’t really trying to do that) and then just pushes her away. It is a bit annoying and feels like he is playing with an innocent girl’s heart. We still see that he is a bit more mature even if he is perverted but little by little, he starts acting more like an old man or a little kid one right after another.

Iwato, who used to be a stand off-ish girl is actually becoming more aggressive as the book goes on, sort of pushing herself onto Seta and trying to get him to know her feelings but then she goes back to being stand off-ish again. She flip flops all over the place. I guess the two are meant for each other if they are going to keep being multi-personalitied like that but it got to a point I wanted them to just get it over with.

The artwork was rather good though the art style is a bit different then shoujo styles. It is rather detailed but our main character isn’t a typical high school girl. She seems much more adult like and not as innocent. The eyes are the most intense, showing almost all the emotions Setsuna feels even though her face is almost all straight where as Seta’s emotions are on his sleeve.

I did like this one though the personalities of the two people have me shaking my head at times.

If you like romance stories with older men, I would highly recommend Lip Smoke. This is the manga that got me into older guy romances, and so far I have not read anything else that tops this. I really enjoyed the story and I wish it was much longer. Setsuna gets a job as an assistant to Kazuki, who writes erotic novels. They spend time together and go on pretend dates in order to help Kazuki gather inspiration for his next book. They share several cute physical moments between them. I like how Setsuna is not the typical wimpy, crybaby female protagonist. She is strong, mature, smart, and not afraid to speak up and express her feelings. The art is good and the way she is drawn makes her look attractive.
