A story about a group of people locked together in a strange place being killed off one-by-one: sounds fun, right? Well, that is if you're a horror buff. Even though this plot has been done to death (hehe, look at the puns a rollin'!) "Doubt" brings some new charm and perspective to the table with its telling. First off, the most enjoyable and engaging part of this manga to me was the cell-phone based game that frames the overall story. The game deals with a group of rabbits who are being murdered one-by-one by a wolf hiding amongst them. So what do these little critters do?Why, pick a rabbit they suspect is the wolf and kill it, of course! If the rabbits pick wisely, they all live (yay!), if not, then they've just murdered one of their own (whoopsie!) and are still at risk of dying themselves (boo!). It's really sort of like the card game Mafia, but with demented looking bunnies. Call me morbid, but I wish that this cell-game depicted in the manga really existed. It sounds like fun to me.

Anyway, this cell game becomes the framework for the twisted game in which the characters of the manga find themselves. They, like the bunnies, are slowly being murdered and have to try to discover the wolf among them before it's too late. Unfortunately, the "wolf", at least who towards the end you think is the wolf, was painfully apparent to me from the get go. However, it turns out that there's a big twist at the end so that this foregone conclusion isn't quite what you're led to expect. That's a good thing, right? Wrong! The actual truth about the wolf as revealed in the last two chapters was so far-fetched and out there that I would have far preferred the obvious wolf to the actual one. I can't and won't give specifics because that would spoil it, but I will say the ending adds an element of the supernatural world a la JJ Abrams style that is hard to swallow (no disrespect to Mr. Abrams, I love you and "Lost" rocks!). And sadly, the issues extend beyond that.

There are so many twists by the end of the story that you get the impression that the artist/author put a ton of ideas in a hat, picked them out one-by-one, and played one twist out until the height of tension was found only to shout "BUT THEN...*insert random twist*". Some of the twists worked for the story and kept it from being boring. However, there were some that not only didn't seem to have a place and were hard to swallow, but that actually left you wondering what the point of them was, slapping a hand to your cheek, and saying an underwhelmed "Uh Huh". It gave the overall impression that the author was saying, "Hey! Look at how witty I am!" rather than trying to formulate a cohesive and entertaining plot.

As for characters, well, I thought they were all decent. Some more development would have been nice, but they all served their purpose. It really did play out like a horror movie in this fashion (you know, you've got a group of people, they all have their own issues, but those issues are largely irrelevant because they're all going to die anyway). I will say that I did ultimately feel that Mitsuki was done well and was highly intriguing in certain parts. Hajime was also a forerunner for good character, but then a certain hastily tacked on twist involving him ruined him for me. Especially because said twist didn't seem to serve any purpose other than being there for added shock value.

The art fit the style, and I noticed that the way the clothing wrinkled was particularly well done. Also, the numerous shots of the gosh darn creepy rabbit suit heads maintained a frightening tone and will ensure that you never look at bunnies the same way again. They were a great signature to the story. I want a poster...maybe not in my bedroom though. Waking up to those freaky rabbit heads looking at me would only inspire some acid trippy nightmares. The one downside to the art was that there were a few scenes drawn in such a way that it was difficult at first to figure out the action and what was happening. Also, there seem to be points in which action is implied rather than shown. For example, there's a scene in which three characters are together in a room, then abruptly, one of them is gone. It's implied that this character walked away, however, there's no panel actually showing this action, so it was somewhat confusing. *POOF* Now you see 'em, now you don't.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable series...until the end completely destroyed it and made me laugh at how ridiculous it was. So, if you like suspense, horror, are a patient person (some of the story does seem rather drawn out at points), and are willing to stretch your imagination to accept unlikely plot twists at the end, you'll enjoy this manga. Basically, if you have the time, give it a go. If your time is precious and you value endings that make perfect sense, I'd try something else.

I would not recommend this anime at all. There was barely any character development, the plot consisted of... well, killing, and the whole manga was stretched to the max (they obviously wanted to sell their product for a longer period of time). It's basically a game of guessing. If you guess right, you survive. If you guess wrong, you'll die. Now, this isn't just a game for children. It required hard thinking and strong determination. The intention of this Manga is to make it's readers doubt and think. The manga wants us to think alongside, to guess who the killer truly is. And of course, we as the readers succumb to this feeling and guess. However, this is where my first disappointment came into the picture. There are varieties of personalities and character present to make the manga interesting. All it needed was more doubt among themselves; more drama, moretwists as in who the killer might truly be alongside many given hints we would only realize later.

However I did not notice any hints at all when the conclusion came. Besides that, the conclusion just didn't make much logical sense and wasn't hinted at all. It's like writing a story and suddenly deciding AT THE END of it to decide a killer by coin flip; and then think about what you could use as possible 'hints'. I mean, it was just mind blowing retarded.

The manga itself is fairly interesting though. It gets you thinking; it gets you on the edge of your seat, it keeps you want to read more to eventually see who the killer is and it absolutely gives you 'what the heck?' moments. The 'what the heck' moments are especially fun considering the somewhat gore story.

However, I wasn't engrossed by it. In fact, I think this manga could have put in 'that' much more into it to make it more enjoyable. I just expected more hints, more confusion and more chaos among the survivors.

But the amount of 'people' was low to begin with and was soon changed into even 'less' people. Which is a disappointment all in all; since the personalities weren't used to their max potential. Not to mention that in and around the middle of the manga things are already being revealed; which takes away tension. Besides that, around chapter 10 I already doubted how the manga was going to continue from that point forward due to a lack of material.

Besides all the flaws I've pointed out; the manga is quite good and enjoyable. It has a sharp setting and sticks to it correctly. So if you like a little tension, some gore and people being locked up in a basement. Then this manga is one for you.

Of course you could also just like horror/drama, which is also a good reason. Whatever fits your taste. If you enjoy a manga that, just like I pointed out, has more hints/confusion to it that actually is worth your brain's thinking, you might want to check out another manga. But still, like I said a few times before, this manga isn't quite as bad as I might make it seem. Especially since it's only 20 chapters in total; which is quite the quick read. Just don't expect too much from it and don't start it if your into romance/comedy.

[Light spoilers] As someone who likes this genre, I can say with confidence that Doubt was, by far, one of the most disappointing, pathetically thrown together anime OR manga I've picked up so far. Reading this manga, I was completely appalled with how much of a train wreck this was. At first glance, this seems like an interesting story concept, and it is. I've read and seen my fair share in the "survival game" genre, and this is an awesome story concept with a lot of potential, which got me interested to begin with. That's why it's so easy to see where Doubt totally blewit.

Story (1/10 - Pathetic): The worst part of this entire manga. Straight from the beginning, we are thrown into the pre-game setup. All of the characters are meeting together with little context given. There is no "main character is living a normal life sitting at the back of the classroom when something out of the ordinary happens" scenario. The characters all come together saying "I got this weird message, haha" and that's pretty much it for the exposition. We're given typical manga tropes as characters, which is to be expected, but really doesn't help Doubt's case, proving that they stuck with just the bare minimum. We're even given a MC with absolutely no personality or outstanding qualities.

The pre-game development was extremely weak to say the least. They're thrown into the game when we still know very little about the characters or what's going on. From there, the story continues without any buildup or a sense of major mystery, and the story proceeds to rush itself into a complete mess. Again, no development, no tension, no nothing. The characters don't even seem to be afraid about their friends being murdered and being in a bloody dark hell hole. This even furthers the reader from connecting to the characters in any possible way.

However, maybe the worst part of the story is how predictable it is. The mystery pretty much gave itself away, and I could predict the ending before the end of volume one. Obviously this led to a dull, anticlimactic ending that anyone could see coming. You would not believe how obvious and unimaginative this story came out to be. No redeeming qualities.

Art (6/10 - Fair): There isn't much to talk about here. They made some scenes pretty spooky, lots of blood, characters are drawn in a typical way, but not bad. So what? In Doubt's case, the art is not enough to save it from being complete hell. In fact, one of the reasons so many enjoyed this is probably because of the eerie art that was used as a crutch for a such terrible story. Art is hardly worth recognizing and would not redeem this thing in a million years. Moving on.

Character (2/10 - Dreadful): Characters get virtually no development or backstories. There is no investment in any of the characters and character deaths are needlessly thrown around to compensate for a lacking mystery. Character deaths are also sloppy and anticlimactic to the point that I actually wish there were more characters, because when only a few characters are suddenly left, the story gets even more boring. Completely disappointing and a huge waste of potential... potential. Yeah, potential potential.

Enjoyment (2/10 - Dreadful): Needless to say, when the ending and "plot twists" are obvious, with the characters being one dimensional, and with a story with no development or mystery, there isn't much to enjoy. There were a few moments of suspense that were sort of creepy. That's basically the only thing that saves the "enjoyment" from a 1/10. Believe me, I would have dropped this thing if it wasn't a measly four volumes.

Overall (2/10 - Dreadful): All things considered, I think a 2/10 is fair if not generous. I'm sure they could have found ways to make it even worse, like maybe if they found it in an old scrapbook titled "Baby's First Manga", so I'll spare it from the 1/10 rating.

Doubt is a horrendous attempt at a potentially engaging and mysterious story. I'm hoping I don't get a ton of "Not Helpful"s for such a low score, but I'm telling you, this thing was painful to read. Having zero development, character depth, and tension was really killing me. A cool concept that was completely thrown away by a rather pathetic execution.

TL;DR: Just... don't bother.

Whats is the one thing in the world that you can never doubt? That my friend, is doubt itself. If you doubt the existence of doubt, you are contradicting yourself. Since doubting doubt, ultimately means you believe in doubt. In a room filled with five people each of them has a their own bar code, and grotesque body hanging before them. There is a wolf masquerading as a rabbit. If they can find the wolf, they will survive. Choose the wrong rabbit, and all the rabbits will die. This manga is very engrossing. After the first chapter, I was quickly hook in the world of Doubt. As the titlesays, the theme is all about Doubt. It talks about how important trust at the same time fragile, can be. The characters werent very original but its the relationship of each character to each other that counts. It was very immersing to have all the characters doubt each other, how they communicate and how they react to what is happening around them. This manga compels you to think for a logical reason on who the wolf can be, at some point it is even challenging.

The art is pretty decent. It aint bad at all. Personally, I liked it. It didnt give me a hard time to delve in as the art has a good drawing. The morbid deaths in particular are unsightly but definitely refined enough for you to understand that the sword of damocles is hanging above your head.

Its magnificent suspense approach bolsters the manga overall. It will give you goosebumps all the time as you try and figure out the true intents of each individual. The only thing missing here is music. If this was an anime, I bet it'll scare the bejesus out of me.

Conclusion. This manga is for those who can appreciate suspense and arent one of the weak hearted. If you want suspense, dont waste any more time and go read it now. For maximum enjoyment, I recommend you to listen to this while reading it.

For some strange reason, I am absolutely infatuated with this manga. It's sick, demented, and twisted... and I love it. Doubt is an online game come to life, where each character is slowly being cut out and killed. Who is first, who is next? Nobody knows except the killer wolf. A completely demented manga that makes you go, quote, "Hm... interesting opener... decent characters, kinda funky, good art... HOLY SHIT." unquote. All the characters of Doubt have their own special persona. Each one from a different "cliq" and you get to see how the characters begin to develop bonds between one and another despite theirdifferences. But, as well, Doubt shows you how easy these new bonds can be broken. This manga shows how when threatened with death, the worst comes out of people, and you truly begin to know who are your friends and who are your enemies.

I’m a guro fiend. Meaning, I love a manga that has gore and blood and horror in it. But finding a manga that isn’t gratuitous? That’s hard to find. Enter “Doubt”: a gore manga with a plot. A plot that revolves around a group of “Rabbits” (i.e. the protagonists) to find the “Wolf”, as illustrated in the very beginning of the book—like a cruel, taunting tease of what is to come. Needless to say, as people begin to die within the group, people go absolutely nuts and start to accuse people, exact revenge, and have their whole world cavein on them.

Now, mind you, this specific plot has been done before—“Battle Royale”, anyone?—but that isn’t a downside, at all. Actually, the execution of said cliché plot is what’s so refreshing and engrossing. It’s a mystery who-done-it that piles the mystery on, slowly answering each one. You become so engrossed in the mystery and the dark, dank atmosphere that you could care less on that fact.

The only down-side to this is that the characters aren’t all that intriguing, you don’t really feel for the main character (Yuu), and that was a bit disappointing due to how much it excelled in areas that I find particularly important—except it lags greatly in this one field.

It’s still a worthwhile, enjoyable read nonetheless.

After so many instances of hearing people talk about this manga and hyping it up, claiming it was full of suspense and mystery, I finally caved in and gave it a shot. I went in with full expectations. And I came out thinking just one thing: My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Art: 7 The art wasn't very distinctive or unique, but it wasn't bad either. It was just fine. In some instances, like murder scenes or moments of 'suspense', the quality got slightly higher, but it still wasn't much to write home about. Characters: 2 This is the second biggest thing I dislike about thismanga. The characters are bland and boring with zero to no development. Only two or three of them got a smidge of backstory. Each of the characters fit a certain archetype and most of them come off as annoying. In a horror setting the reader/viewer should be able to connect with the characters in order to actually feel something when they die, but in Doubt I very much didn't care.

Story: 1

Boring and predictable. I could see the 'twist' coming from a mile away, and when the second twist came I literally looked up and thought to myself: "Well that's f**king stupid." I didn't see the second one coming because I genuinely thought the author wouldn't *actually* go there, that maybe the plot could be salvageable, but nope. The motivation of the villain was laughable at best and the ending was the final nail in the coffin for me because of how insulting it felt.

Honestly, there are way better death game manga/anime out there than this. It took me like an hour and a half to plow through this, but I still felt like I wasted my time. Don't waste yours.

I found out about this manga just yesterday,it was a recommendation to another one in this site.Thought I'd try it,so tomorrow I started reading it.Firstly I have to say that I loved the atmosphere,I've always loved buildings like that in horror movies,or in this case let's say manga.They fit best if you want to creep out the readers. Now let's start on the review. Story 6/10 Something I've heard before again and something I'd think of it too,if I were to create a manga.Didn't give me a "Wow" when I read the summary but sometimes all it matters is how the story develops later.Now that I just mentionedit,I really felt at times that it was predictable.To be honest nothing shocked me at all,I even saw the ending coming(part of it).While there were lots of twists,they really didn't make me excited,I felt that sometimes the story had to drag itself to make sense,when most times it didn't,and all the explanation going on was just tiring.I bet you could make a wicked horror story with simple explanation.To be honest I had three suspects of who was the real wolf,and I wasn't that wrong in the end(maybe a little bit).

It was a disappointment to give it such an ending and not to mention it is way to pessimisic,you're supposed to give hope after someone has gone through so much trouble rather than having everything ruined.It's like giving us a big slap on the face and saying "Woohoo,you were such a sucker for reading this".

One of the manga's strong points,while I won't lie that at first it didn't appeal to me that much.But as the chapters went on I kinda started liking it,I also liked the details on the clothing or on the objects.Not to mention the Bunny Masks.If you were to mention this manga to me the first image that'd come to my mind would be definetely the masks.Some of the character designs felt a bit too common though.If it had been for a better story and more chapters the masks would have become legendary,that's all I have to say.

Yeah...no!The characters followed stereotypes most of the time.I didn't feel any connection to them,I didn't feel they were alive.In my opinion it was wrong to start the game from the first chapters.It would be good to get to know the characters a bit and they'd get to know each other.It would be more interesting and they'd get more connected and build trust.For character development,I don't think I noticed any.The characters way of thinking and viewing things was the same from begining to end.Maybe Mitsuki had potential to turn into some scary vilain but she wasn't given the chance.

I'd like o add another thing,the whole thing "I'll trust my friends" or "They're my friends" didn't do for me at all.It sounded all so fake cause the characters had just met that day.

Just because it's not the best or one of the best horror mangas out there it doesn't mean that I didn't enjy it.Otherwise I would have dropped it.For me what's really important is also the atmosphere like I mentioned above.The building was great and it reminded me of a time when I had seen an abandoned building from the outside and it'd give me creeps.If you just want something to chill out and have a nice time try this,but the ending was disappointing.

If youw were to ask me,I'd say "It's a good manga and deserves a chance".After all I'm sure there are many people out there who would love it.I personally found it pretty predicting.The dialogues were poor,most of the things the say are heard more than a thousand times making it even more predicting.The characters could've been a lot smarter than just been cunning.The whole idea of the mobile game though with the rabbits and the wold was quite exceptional.Best part of the manga(after the rabbir masks of course,XD) and had it been executed well could've made a better story.

Doubt, just as the name says, is all about doubting. The game of “Rabbit Doubt” is basically about finding the lying “wolf” amongst the group of “rabbits.” You would expect this manga to be all about backstabbing, distrust, and a whole lot of confusion. But essentially what Doubt boils down to is hardly more than a manga version of the Saw movies –– especially, the first one. You remember Saw, right? That movie where people get kidnapped and tortured? Well, there’s no torture or traps here, but the similarities between the two are uncanny. The manga starts off normally enough, when a group of strangers meetup in one location. They are all playing the game “Rabbit Doubt,” and the only way the can identify each other is by the rabbit keychain on their cellphones. But things quickly turn for the worse when they go for some karaoke and the main character, Yuu Aikawa, gets attacked in the bathroom.

The players wake up in a strange room, and try to figure out a way to escape. They find a dead body in the room next door and have no idea why they are here… I could go on and on about how similar this manga is to Saw. There is even someone surveillancing them the whole time. If you love the Saw movies, then you’re going to love Doubt. If Saw was not your type of movie, you won’t find much appeal here.

There is a brief love story towards the end, and personally I found learning about the characters’ pasts to be one of the more interesting aspects of the manga. Doubt, like its namesake, will keep you doubting and guessing from the beginning through the end. Many times when I was positive who the wolf was, I started “doubting” myself just a few chapters later.

The dialogue was okay: I found it a bit cheesy at times, even for a horror manga. The characters seemed to scream and shout a lot; luckily, because it’s a manga, we don’t have to hear them.

The one main peeve I had with the manga is that even though the plot was unique and different from all other anime or manga out there (that’s what got me interested in this manga in the first place), what started out as a cool psychological horror story slowly slipped into anime clichéness. You know…you have the handicapped loli, the smart guy with the glasses, the tough, cool guy… If the characterization had been just a little bit better, I think I would’ve enjoyed this manga more.

Still, the dramatic scenes gave me an enjoyable sense of tension. I loved the creepy atmosphere, as well as trying to solve the mystery of the barcodes.

It is doubtful that horror fans will pass up on reading Doubt, but I doubt they will give accolades to its doubtfully logical ending.

when members of an online game went on for an offline meeting, everybody started to end up dead. the plot of this manga is cliche with any other thriller plot but unique in its own sense with the application of newer trends. so to speak, the manga is so good that readers would find themselves involved at the story and its characters, questioning what these people have in common? why should they die? how the story would end. what secrets would be revealed. it's too early to comment on possible endings with how the story is progressing and always catching the reader's thoughts but if you'recraving for a good thriller manga to read, then rabbit doubt is for you. the clean art and the intriguing plot speaks it all.

Well well well, this is one suspense story that really keep me on my toes and I'm serious about it. Normally there's hardly any suspense manga that will let me finish the entire manga in one plus hour time. The story really builds on itself and it's not predictable like other mangas around, and just when you think that its the end, the author will provide another element that totally throws you out of the track. The storyline is perfect and 20 chapters are just nice for the manga, but beware, this is not for those who are faint-hearted because of its fast paceness... A perfect read atmidnight..

This manga is very good up to the last two chapters. It is very entertaining and the art is good. I don´t find the plot similar to "Battle Royale" as many people do... in Battle Royale the players are openly forced to kill each other. In the Rabbit Doubt game, the rabbits (the players) are not told to kill each other. In this game, there is a wolf hidden among the rabbits, and the players end up trying to find a way to escape from the building where they are imprisoned and trying to discover who the wolf is, in order to avoid being killed.In this sense, the plot would be much closer to Saw.

Although the characters could have been more developed, and some outcomes might have been a little expected, -in whole- most of the manga is very good. Unfortunately, the last two chapters ruin it all.

I found the ending deceiving, forced and unjustified. There are things which remain unexplained, or are not explained in a satisfactory manner. The wolf's motives are not convincing, nor are the method used to carry out the plan. I find the last chapter even absurd, in a way... I absolutely see no point in any of the things the wolf ends up doing.

I also missed the hints every thriller should have. In this kind of stories, in which the reader is invited to find the culprit, there should be clues that allow him to discover who it is, or at least accept the ending as an unforeseen but valid option. To be true, there might be some events throughout the manga that rise suspicion, there was a time -at the beginning of the manga- when I wondered about certain things which are connected with the ending, but most of them remain unexplained, and the connection between such events and the final outcome seems too forced and unrealistic.

If it wasn't for that I would have scored the manga with an 8, or even more... but when I see flaws such as these in the plot I am very disappointed. However, I will give it a 6 (fine) as the manga does have its good points: the general idea is interesting; the art is good, and -most of all- it is entertaining to read. Such a pity, it could have been much better.

Doubt, on the surface, sounds amazingly interesting kids participating in a game of death, dying one by one and the killer is (surprise) one of them. It sounds reminiscent of series like Battle Royale, but where BR succeeds Doubt ultimately fails. Storywise Doubt starts of as an enthralling thiller, it's paced very well and strikes a great balance between doling out enough info to keep the reader interested and keeping enough draped in mystery that you want to read more. And you will read more you will read and read and read up to the climax of the story but then it falls flat onit's face. Hard. Everything just unravels, twists and genre shifts galore; love triangles, sci fi, crime drama, it's like a grab bag of different genres that the author found cool but couldn't decide which to stick to so...."Why not toss em all in there." everything feels so tacked on it becomes absurd.

I have no gripes with the art, the character designs aren't particularly amazing and I feel that's why they work so well with the story. What wins points is the scenery and use of shading, the artist sets an amazing mood. Without the scenery the story wouldn't be as interesting as it was.

Characterwise there was much to be desired for certain people and the exact opposite for others. Shoveling on small factoids that other characters mention in passing is not good development. Certain characters receive the shaft so hard it hurts *coughEijicough*. The sad thing about Doubt is that the absurd twists might have worked if they were spread across the cast instead of concentrated on the same 2 or 3 characters.

There were some bright spots in the cast though. One being the main character who is so annoyingly naive that he does an amazing job of moving the story forward. He's basically a bicycle, very little is noteworthy about a bike but when it does what is intended...Whoo! The other bright spot is odd since it's only a mask, the rabbit mask is haunting, it gives the killer a face. Just like the main character it does what it needs to, it puts a mindless killing machine in the same room as normal teens. Cliche but it works.

Enjoyment. I truly don't know what to say...it was like watching a parade balloon, it starts off so vibrant engaging and beautiful, your brain can't comprehend its parade balloony goodness. Then....gradually it starts to deflate you try to hammer in the initial awe you had to convince yourself that it will work out. The balloon twists, jerks, sticks out some colorful pieces, and wheezes; struggling to keep itself afloat but then it all goes out in a small puff; and in the end thats all Doubt amounts to. Take this all with a grain of salt if you must but please if you leave this review with anything I want it to be this: go into doubt with exactly what the title says...Doubt. Go in doubting that it will be as good as it sets itself up to be.

Overall 7/10 if only for what could have been.

Who Doubt still has not read, it should be read quickly. The story is really good.and for those who liked the Saw series then you'll probably see some parallel. Story: The story begins with a rather creepy story about a wolf who snuck in disguised as a bunny into a group of bunnies and one by one killed the bunnies. The bunnies realized that one among them was the wolf, and that if they killed the correct one, then they'd be safe, but otherwise, they'd all of the wolf as the fed on. The manga states then this is such a game, and transitions to a groupof kids that all have met up online, and now meet in person, due to their involvement in a game called "Rabbit Doubt".

Character:

Mitsuki, Yuu, Haruka, Rei, Eiji, Hajime.

Well the main character, Yuu, already knows one of the girls Mitsuki, but the other three are new to him, and one of the kids does not show up at all.

I personally like Rei. she is soooo sweet. xD

I like this manga very much. I like the drawing style, story, character and the manga is never boring. ^-^

At first, I saw this Manga and thought it didn't seem great. But the first chapter hooked me in, and it seemed like I was going to be forced into riding this killing game that has been set forth. This is definitely a manga I would tell all of you to read if you haven't, yet. The story revolves around a game of 'Rabbit Doubt'. There's a group of people and everyone is labeled as a rabbit. Someone within them is in a disguise, but is truly a wolf who seeks to murder the innocent. It's a lying game. If the wolves are gone before therabbits, the rabbits win. If the wolves eliminate the rabbits, the wolves win. But once this innocent game gets twisted into a real-life experience, it gets all the more difficult. A murderer against others, trying to kill them before they can make their way out of the building they're locked in.

Some of the characters are fairly standard, some aren't. But they're all special in their own ways.

Yuu and Mitsuki are good friends. They meet with four new people throughout the games progression.

Almost every chapter ended with a cliffhanger kind of setting. It keeps you on your toes and not knowing who the wolf is until the very end. [ Unless you're a good guesser, of course. ;) ] It switches around who you think the wolf could be, and creates an atmosphere that will confuse and boggle the mind! It truly is a mystery.

In the end, I really did love this manga. I would suggest everyone to read it! You'll be dragged in and enthralled until the end. I read this all in a day, and was amazed. It's completely worth the read.

Spoilers ahead I guess: As soon as I saw the faces of the characters in chapter 1 this is what I thought: Bully ass looking guy gonna die Innocent looking guy is mc and gonna survive cuz mc Wheelchair girl gonna be loved by everyone and die straight off just to be revealed to be mastermind Normal girl gonna be mc's love interest and gonna go crazy or something but survive Choker girl gonna dieCool composed dude gonna survive cuz hes the cool composed dude

I was correct and this trash was more predictable than the ending of Saw 1

A group of young people that play the same online game must face it in the real life. Rabbit doubt, the game, consists on a group of rabbits that have a killer among them, the wolf. Rabbits win if they catch the murderer, if not they get killed and lose. That's the plot of this manga. The story it's a bit por because it only has this idea. It's also told a little piece of background for the main characters but not enough to make a good development of them. Although I should have expected it, since it's a short work. The drawing work was thebest charateristic of this manga. Nice scenes, good action and scary places. Sure it was a good job.

I really enjoyed this story. Although it wasn't a masterpiece and it didn't last long, it was such a good story to spend my time on.

I hope the sequel keeps the good points of this work and then improve some things, for instance some scenes were confusing as they didn't have enough panels.

Personally, I didnt LOVE this manga. Others, however might find it pretty enjoyable. I dont like beating around the bush, so lets get straight to business~ STORY (8) The story is pretty good--its somewhat original, at least. You have a popular interactive cell phone game called RABBIT DOUBT and a group of kids who suddenly find themselves experiencing firsthand the horror of having no one to trust in life-or-death circumstances. "How does this happen?" you might ask. Well, these kids are trapped in a dark, underground maze in the middle of nowhere. And they discover one of their friends brutally murdered in a room. They realize that thekiller is among them and desperately search for a way out. 'Cept, they all suspect one another, and while they waver between doubt and trust, the killer strikes again!

ART (9)

I lurve this art style. I think you'll like it too. I hope you do.

The facial expressions are nice, you can tell when someone's confused or scared. The creepy scences look creeeeepy. And you can practically tell how unnerving it feels to be in that dark, dank, windowless middle-of-nowhere.

CHARACTERS (6)

Ugh. This was my least favorite part of the manga. The girls were clingy and weak and wimpy and insecure. Forget having no flavor, these girls left a bad taste in my mouth. I tried to like them. I really did. But there's only so much ANYONE can put up with.

The others were OKAY, but they werent amazing. They were all too busy suspecting each other and trying to make it out alive to try to make a good impression, I guess.

ENJOYMENT (7)

If you've read/seen Death Note, Code Geass, or maybe if you've read other psychological/horror themed manga, this isnt anything AMAZING. But its worth a read, if you're looking for something to kill time with. Going by the MyAnimeList definition of "7", its "good." Its not "very good" or "fair". Its not "great" or "mediocre". Its simply "good".

Math time! (8+9+6+7)/4 = 7.5

BUT, MAL does not have a 7.5 in their scoring system.

So I'm going to be a little unfair here and round it down to a 7. Why? Like I said, its "good" but, in my humble opinion, not VERY good. Blame it on the wimpy characters.

Not to brag or anything, but I figured out the fucking culprit in chapter 2, my suspicion was later confirmed in chapter 6 v--SPOILERS ALERT--v Rule number 1 of murder mystery: It is forbidden for the culprit to be anyone not mentioned in the early part of the story Therefore we have 6 suspects: - The protagonist can't be the culprit cuz he's tied up - The other two girls (Mitsuki and Haruka) can't be the culprit cuz they were being observed by mc through the camera monitors - The other guy can't be the culprit cuz Eiji was immediately killed right after he left the room, therefore, he is notthe culprit

- The victim did not commit suicide (obviously)

So, we are left with Rei who is dead (spoilers alert she's not)

In murder mysteries, there's 3 things that should be reveal to the reader at the end of the story "How dunnit", "Why dunnit" and "Who dunnit" This manga does obey the rules, but did it horribly.

For "Who dunnit", the crime was pretty easy to solve like I explain earlier

For "How dunnit"

The crime was committed by magic! No seriously, Rei is a goddamn witch. Apparently she "hypnotizes" people to do what she wants, in this case, Mitsuki. How would you feel if you spent all your time reading a murder mystery with "impossible crimes" or "perfect crimes" (that would seem like it is impossible to be committed by a human) and at the end, they told you that a witch used magic to commit the crime? They did explain in the manga but the explanation was so fucking stupid. Yes, Mitsuki was hurt about her father death. But why tf would she go out and kill innocent people (who she has pretty much zero solid evidence of them killing her father and one of them was her best friend). That, unless she's a psychopath, which was never shown or mentioned throughout the manga. With all the evidences above, I can safely say that Rei indeed used magic to commit the crime.

Also, the manga did not explain how Rei managed to hang herself on the wall playing dead while having the longest staring contest ever. Yes, she opened her eyes while she's playing dead and not blinking once. Either she's very skilled or the others are just way too stupid to notice her blinking.

One last thing, the manga did not explain how Rei survived the car accident when she was a kid WITHOUT a single scratch. She was sitting on her mom lap while her father was driving, so HOW did she survive but her mom died. And what kind of parent would kill their children just so they "can be together forever?"

For "Why dunnit"

So this girl is a TV star psychic who can hypnotize people, but people called her a liar. She got bullied at school because of that and her parent committed suicide so she decided to revenge her parent by killing people using hypnosis. Sure, this might be a good reason but it has flaws. The question here is how did she being called a liar affected her parent that lead them to suicide? It was never explained in the manga, so I just assume that the author wants us to think that her parent was tormented by the people around them (somehow). Still, that is a stupid reason for suicide. All they just have to do is move away, easy as that, their daughter is a tv star so money wouldn't be a problem. Of course, the author could have made up a reason like her parent was depressed and seeing their daughter being bullied had somehow driven them to suicide, but nope, the manga did not mention a single thing about her parent being depressed. Therefore, her parent didn't commit suicide because of her being called a liar. Therefore, Rei cannot blame her haters for her parent death.

In a nutshell, the story is horrible, the characters are stupid and unrealistic. The mystery, in my opinion, was trash, of course, that's because I've read lots of murder mysteries. So if you're new to this genre, you might still be able to enjoy reading this manga.
