One of the best mangas i have ever read. Story: Its a interesting story that just makes you want to read it more and more. Unfortunately the ending was not my prefered type though it was still great. Art: Very good art though i have seem better. Character: The main characters were all well developed though the side ones were left into the dark. Overall: I would have liked if the end was a little later, there were still things i wanted to see. Also the auras were very well thought out.

Psychic Academy has a pretty straightforward story without any really original plot developments, but enjoyable none the less. My only complain about the whole plot is the ending, namely a HUGE CLIFF HANGER, some might say that I spoiled the series by saying that, but I think you ought to know xD *See REAL spoiler at end of post*. Secondly I can't stand unnecessary fan-service (despite being a boy), but that might be just me. Now down to how I gave my ratings: Story: Worth a 7 if it would have had an ending, this way a 6 Art: Can't stand all the fan-service, so a 6 insteadof a 7 again

Characters: Simply good (7), but nothing special

Enjoyment: Once again could have been a 7, but the fan service just distracted too much from the story making me give it a 6.

Overall: Because of the ending -1 and because of fan-service -1 as well, so a 5.

Post Scriptum: I have lately been trying out various reviews styles to see which type people regard as helpful, so this is a pretty plain review without any story specific spoilers.

I hate non-happy endings, and some agree with me and some don't... either way; The romance doesn't end in a happy way, if I am right to believe that the main character realises who he loves at the end (not entirely sure) than the person who he loves disappeared.

This is a great series imo, comparable to Mx0 series as a result of the male protagonist's rocky progress in school and their overrated fame. But this series is in 4xxxth rank... lol. Story:8 Right from the beginning, the author shows the male protagonist's hidden potential and adjusted his power gradually, and other characters' behaviours and powers do not change suddenly as well [coherent]. Romance parts were quite exciting as well, although even till the end there never seemed like a proper conclusion to all the romance plots placed inside. However, towards the end and the ending parts the story began to include some cliffhangers, especially in the lastfew chapters. And the ending is truly a mysterious and somehow sad one... which doesn't seem to be a good conclusion.

Very clear... I could understand most, if not all of the panel drawings and the art is good. Nuff said.

Character:8

Character development is very good for the main characters, as to what their past led them to their present, and most of the main characters have both sides attached to them as well. However, some of the side characters were not well developed at all, eg. the Principal of the academy.

Enjoyment:9

The excitement level throughout the story was very high, at least until the end. Lots of action, comdy etc. I read several consecutive chapters at once.

Overall: 8

A good series overall, the basis of "aura" was very well developed, including weaknesses for certain elements. However, the ending seems to be rushed (or completed during a sleepy state), and kind of brought down the series a little. Should read this if you enjoyed Mx0.

It was a great book and the story was nice. I liked the idea of the ''para-dream'' and aura powers, it made it very interesting. Although I wish the ending was different but this is my opinion, others might like the ending. Over all the story was well made and the characters really fit in so it's a good read.

I'll start by saying that I do not know how people could like this manga, how it got a score of 7 is beyond me. It even has reviews that give it an 8 and a 10. I wish MAL would change their grading system. I wanted to give this manga a 4 or a 5 overall because the first few chapters were enjoyable but a 5 means "mediocre" and a 4 means "decent" according to MAL. No, this manga is not in any way decent, it's appalling, that's why i had to give it a lower score, it's the brainchild of a mangaka that hithis head when he was little, the mangaka should stick to making art for other authors.

SPOILER ALERT***** - read it still, might change your mind about reading this manga.

I'll get to the point. The story starts out pretty promising and i was taken right in, i was actually looking forward to finish it. We're constantly being teased about the mc's hidden powers and it makes the reader anxious to finally see it released. But.....that never happens. The mc keeps getting saved by other people, never fighting by his own until the penultimate chapter where we get like 3 slides of him actually beating someone. Oh, but that's the least of the problems. Besides the useless mc, you get to see a moronic villain with truly idiotic reasons for actually being evil. There are two love interests, the mc actually has his soul linked with one, ends up with other one, then cheats on her and never tells her, so long with the golden heart mc. What else, the mc has a "master"(it's a fucking telepathic rabbit) that never actually trains him to control his power but always talks about training him.The mc never tells people what he's thinking even tho it could end the confusion that exists between him and some characters(not at all because the mangaka wanted to draw things out). The most likable characters die at the end, the ones that were trying to save him from the evil organization decide to leave him in the care of the evil organization after saving him(WHAT LIKE? HOW? WHY, YOU JUST GOT HIM OUT FROM THERE - were my thoughts in that exact moment) and the mc suddenly becomes OP in the second half of the last chapter(I don't know how that happened, it's never explained). Now he suddenly has the power to turn back time and end the world. The journey I took into this manga was filled with frustrations, disappointments and cliche's galore. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemies. And I thought Afro Samurai was bad for using slurs to make it "funny and cool".

I know i'm breaking a lot of review guidelines here MAL but I did note that there are spoilers in review. I for one cannot express my own opinion if I don't make reference to something. I'm not that good at writing.
