I'll keep this short: The artwork almost turned me away from this before I even started, but I decided to give it a chapter and see how it turned out. To my surprise, 6 chapters and a short epilogue later, this was the most realistic yaoi I've ever read. It was a short, fast read, but it gave the reader the sense that this was something that could actually happen in real life. Cross dressing isn't something generally accepted throughout the world, and right now being gay isn't either. Most yaois give the vibe that all the characters within them are gay, and allof them are out to get each other's boyfriends. In this story, if everyone in it were gay, they most certainly didn't come out or try to steal anyone away from another person.

Some spoilers below.

Another interesting note is that, instead of turning into the blushing "no-means-yes" uke, the "bottom" pushed away his potential partner, proclaiming himself too scared. And to my complete surprise, the "top" (I put these in quotes, because they didn't quite fit the stereotypical seme and uke archetypes) left without claiming "it'll feel better in a second" and even knew he was at least partly in the wrong.

Now the only reason story got a 9 instead of a 10 is because the ending felt a bit rushed and unrealistic. While the story moved well for the first 5 chapters, I didn't expect them to give in to each other and just end happily ever after - despite the consequences - in one chapter. Other than that, this was a surprisingly good read. I recommend it.

Spoiler-free review! :D I think this manga is REALLY REALLY underrated. Yeah, crossdressing does not appeal to everybody and even some BL readers may find it gross, but even if you think so, give this manga a try. It is surprisingly good I swear. It's one of the most realistic stories I have ever read in a BL manga. It's not like you would expect a truly interesting realistic story and so well designed characters in a yaoi so for sure anyone might find it refreshing. I would actually recommend it to everybody but it has some explicit scenes (really really well made and drawnby the way).

A brief review here if you don't want to read the detailed one ahead:

The story is cute and gentle but really deep and touching. The art is simple but goes well with the story plot and atmosphere, it is something not really common so it catched my attention in a second. The characters are simply GREAT, they are realistic, selfish sometimes, insecures but with clear thoughts and opinions. It is brief and easy to read. In my opinion one of the BEST BL mangas I have ever seen!! Really recommended.

Now a more detailed review (also spoiler-free):

Story: 9/10

Well a brief summary: Yashiro likes crossdressing. It spontaneously happened once and he found his true self while wearing girl's clothes. Momose, a creepy guy from his class found out. Yeah, that is all you need to know about the plot. It might be simple but I preferred it that way: a good story doesn't have always to be obscure, unusual or really imaginative to be deep and shocking. It is pure, cute and it overwhelmed me with emotions. It has that nostalgic, light and gentle aura all Hideyoshico's stories have. The development is smooth even though it has only 6 chapters.

Art: 7/10

I would have given it a 9/10 but I am being objective here and I think it might not appeal to a lot of people. The characters are simple but cute, and the proportions and body parts are really well done! It gives an ethereal atmosphere that suits the story perfectly. I also think the scenery is quite well done and detailed in the precise moments. Also, the illustrations (cover and extras) are beautiful.

Character: 10/10

By far the most remarkable part of this manga. The two main characters could freaking exist in real life. Momose is a creep, likes some kind of metal music and is curious about Yashiro from the start. He looks like a shy dark guy but only because he is not really interested in anyone, but he clearly knows what he wants. Yashiro has got a complex about his preferences so he wants Momose to look at him and notice him but is also afraid of not being as good as a woman in appearance terms.

Enjoyment: 10/10

Cute but not stupid, simple but overwhelming! I loved it.

Overall: 9/10

Would be in my top 5 BL mangas. If you like yaoi it is really refreshing, worth reading and short so I dunno what are you waiting for! <3

This manga is very beautiful and I loved its dramatic but original touch. Its small amount of chapters allows the reading to be really light and has a theme that makes it soft yaoi (for those unaccustomed). On the other hand, the drawing is characteristic of the yaoi but it is still nice and consistent. Something great that I must share is the fact of having a very good movie which can be found easily. The film adaptation is very good even in the cast and performances, for all this I recommend you watch the movie and then read its manga.
