Reviews for Hikkatsu!

Firstly, this manga is funny in a dragon ball sort of way. You have your typical girl who swoons over the main protagonist, a guy who hits malfunctioning machines with a "repair blow" in attempts ti fix them. Naturally, the guy is totally unaware she loves him. Then you have the guy they both meet who is a thief and tries to take advantage of them but ends up getting sucked into their crew and helping them out. Imagine one piece. You have that guys whose a thief and pretty funny, you have luffy, then you have naomi. The only difference here is that the"Naomi" of Hikkatsu loves the "Luffy" of Hikkatsu. There are definitely some laugh out loud moments and the characters do some pretty funny things. Most of the time, Shota, the main character's repair blow does not work. So the three pals travel the country encountering "clans" who all like different things. There is a digging clan, and clan that likes to look inside stuff, a horror clan, weird stuff like this. I found it very enjoyable but it had a serious ending with a climactic battle which seemed unfitting. By the end I just wanted more comedy. Luckily there is enough of that in the first two volumes and the first half of the third and last one. A good, quick read that will leave you satisfied if you like mangas that are humorous and have a unique plot.

This one is a weird one in that I only just found out that the author wrote and drew “Those Who Hunt Elves” or basically isekai way way way before everyone decided to ruin the “genre”. The art style is so lively it looks totally different than his previous work which was much more standard. This manga has a more noodly and storyboard like approach to it's art that I really enjoy. But as a trade off it is short as heck, only 3 volumes. I feel like it could have been a lot longer by how it was set up but it wasan oddly cute read all the same.

This story was just way to wierd for me.... It really made no sense whatsoever So basically all the electronics in the world are going crazy and this guy can fix the with his " Repair blow" So his goal is to fix the whole earth so hes going on a journey with his friends to look for the perfect spot to use his repair blow to fix the earth. As i said its wierd -_-
