Reviews for Kirika the Student Council Executives Detective

Pretty average manga all around. The mysteries are weak and the characters are generally bland. There are brief hints of what could be interesting character arcs but are either resolved in the blink of an eye or are never elaborated on. Lots of pointless half-hearted fan service wasting pages. The art is competent but compositions are often confusing at leading the eye from panel to panel. This only adapts the first 3 (maybe part of 4?) light novels so it also has an extremely unsatisfying non-ending in which nothing is resolved. Overall, everything here is done better elsewhere, but if you just want more of the same tropesyou've already seen before then this is that.
