Reviews for Daisuki Datta yo, Sensei...

Moderator Note: This review is for "Daisuki Datta yo, Sensei...", the first two chapters of this one-shot collection. Short and sweet. Verry Short and verry sweet. I tnink there is more short stories to come but this first one is awesome. If you are a Student x Techer fanatic like me than this is a must read. Why? Becuase even as a SxT fan i will admit that 80% of them are exactly the same story with only the hair ,names and sequence of event changing and not by much. This manga starts off with an aproach i have never seen adding a new flavor tothe sweet and soulful taboo relationship we've seen over and over again. This may seem like much to say about a 2 chapter manga but while i wont call it earth chattering peice of lituature and most shoujo/josie arn't it those have a freshness that long since past from the almost over done genre. And the art is really good too.

I was quite shock to see that not many people noticed this one (Maybe it's still a fresh one) so I'm now gonna write a review for this. You guys might be thinking this is just your typical Student X Teacher type wherein both of them met at school, fell in love and then. Well since it's forbidden,they try to cover up the relationship. Most of the time, Manga about Student X Teacher are like that,but I tell you THIS SERIES TOOK QUITE A DIFFERENT TURN CONSIDERING THAT IT'S JUST 2 CHAPTERS. It actually started off with something different. It's pacing and development, both plot and character wise, is actually very nice and not abrupt considering that it's 2 chapters.

The art is very eye catching and nice too.

If you're thinking this series goes along with Chocolate Cosmos, Chocolate Kiss, Otona Pink about Student X Teacher relationship. I am telling you IT'S NOT.

It's a very unique manga considering that there are way too many Student X Teacher genres out there. That's why I'm giving it a 10, because it's story stood out.

Moderator Note: This review is for "Toraware Beast", the last chapter of this one-shot collection. This manga is so cheesy and sweet, I got diabetes from it. I normally don't like cheesy mangas but I figured since it was a one shot, it would be okay since I wasn't doing anything. And I made the right choice to waste my time on that cute, little 48-paged one shot manga. It's so cute but the story is quite predictable...I mean, it IS a one shot love manga, what do you expect. Basically, it's about this new girl who became an ultra popular girl because of her looks but inreality, she's actually an otaku who her friends are disgusted with, which is why she never shows her true self to them. Then this girl comes by and offered her a rare manga that she wanted in exchange for being n the Drama Club (which is a loser club, apparently). Turns out he was a guy. Predictable, but I was still shocked when she did /that/ to Meg and when Meg saved her from /that/ guy. :(

I gave it story a 7 (Good) because, well, the story was predictable. Although there are some parts that made me laugh and that made me squeal.

Art was excellent, character was overexposed (you know, typical popular girl who's really bad with boys and is completely different w/out friends, EXCEPT FOR THE GUY, I'll give him that), I enjoyed it greatly, and the overall is 9!

This manga is good :) The last story is what I love the most :) It's a typical shoujo manga for teenager who will catch the reader's heart. :) The art is also great and there's no evidence of it being rush or what. :) Overall, it's a great manga. :D STORY - 9 This manga is sweet, at the same time, I think, it is a common shoujo manga :) Though this kind of story is really not tiring to read :) It shows how the protagonists love each other And how they grow to commit the right decision of their life. And I think that's good :)ART - 10

The art is good.

It's cool and there's nothing I can say about it.

CHARACTER - 9

Though it is a 3 stories that's short.

It actually shows how the character grows on their mistake, and learn to make the right decision in their life. It humane enough to get through the heart of the reader.

ENJOYMENT - 8

I enjoyed it.

But as I said, it's really a typical shoujo manga so it's quite predictable how it will end. And that loses the enjoyment of reading. Slightly.

But i'm still happy that I read it. :)

OVERALL - 8

Overall, this manga is worth a shot.

And it is also great. :)
