Reviews for Idol♥Kiss

For those of you who like your short, cute, sugary sweet shoujo romance a little on the rapey side. This is about a girl who becomes the "pet" for a 5-member boy-band (idol group, whatever), in the process getting caught up in the tension and jealousy between the top two most popular members of the group--neither of whom are as they first appear. At first it seems pretty typical cutesy shoujo: the girl is excessively hard-working (think Hikari from SA), winning over the cold and at first cruel members of the group, and doki-doki causing back-room kissing action with the top two members. You'vegot the makings of a nice little love triangle, where someone gets their heart broken, but everyone stays friends and the main couple lives happily ever after.

And sure, that's the ending you get eventually, but in the meantime, things get weird. Blackmail. Attempted rape.

Umm, no thank you, not what I was here for. If I want that stuff, I'll go find a dark, broody Seinen romance or a melodramatic josei smut manga. Let's keep the sugary sweet shoujo free from such things, okay?
