Ah, geez, here we go.... Another review for a borderline-hentai. This time, it's a borderline-hentai manga. I discovered Iinari Princess while looking through some manga by the same mangaka as a manga with a recently-aired (at the time of this review) anime adaptation called Okusama ga Seitokaichou. While I was reading Iinari Princess, I was so worried that someone might walk in on me reading it and also so uncomfortable from how close to hentai this manga was. Well, I can't lie by saying it was terrible, either. Iinari Princess is about a high school boy named Hyuuga. Hyuuga is in the same class as RenaReina Rene Richetlunt, who is a transfer student and a princess from a foreign country. Of course, she is a princess who looks down at the common folk....but one day, Hyuuga catches Rena....well, breaking wind. Because of a tradition from the royal family, Hyuuga must now become Rena's lover. Commence erotic situation after erotic situation.

Now, the story was nothing special at all. It left me a bit confused; why would a princess from Northern Europe attend a normal Japanese high school in the place? The characters weren't too bad; I actually liked Rena's character, as well as the relationship between her and Hyuuga. It's just that there was a lot of character development. The art, which was drawn by Yumi Nakata, may be the strongest point in the manga. It's very well-drawn, and the chibis that pop up every once in a while are cute.

Iinari Princess may not have a terrible story, terrible characters, or terrible art, but the borderline-hentai moments left me feeling so uncomfortable that that alone dropped my overall score of it. Even so, there are borderline-hentai anime that are worse than this manga. Thus, if you must see a princess and a normal boy in a lot of erotic situations, read this. I warn you, though; it might make you feel as uncomfortable as it made me.

Iinari Princess is simply put a borderline H-manga. To me when I read the first chapter it gave off similar to the original Okusama wa Seitokaichou with 8 chapters (https://myanimelist.net/manga/90876/Okusama_wa_Seitokaichou) by the same mangaka than the tamer version with the 2 seasons anime/69 chapters that ended up happening. The art is pretty good, similar to their other works but does stand out. It does benefit the scenes I'd say as well. It isn't as hard to tell what is going on I find at least compared to actual H-manga and the few other borderline H manga I've read. The characters are fine, but for ecchi standards itworks, for outside the 'expecting time has past' and the very few amount of chapters offered it's not as easy to say they grow as much outside of ecchi standards. They do go to certain extents of being comfortable around each other, the side characters make the scenes more suited to the situations or fairly funny.

I enjoyed it as an ecchi works. Outside that I think it won't appeal to many outside that audience.

The manga story is about a rich princess that is in a Japanese school. Gets close to a pretty standard male lead (they try to hide they are close like nothing happened in front of others, the side characters that do know suit the situations such as the maid and the parents/poison taste tester) and the ecchi moments while fine do come out of no where so interest in ecchi is going to be more the thing here than logic/it making any sense as while later on it may be fair enough in the beginning even if it builds up, even the further and further pushing of the borderline Hentai bar and compared to other borderline H-manga. It starts out as she is stuck up, wants to ignore him then they get closer pretty quickly (so expect to fill in the gaps of time has past between the very small amount of chapters given).

The last chapter was pretty alright with the Kotatsu. There isn't that much foreigner reacts to the differences much either like that or the onsen. Not a bad thing but was surprised it wasn't that common in the manga than the school life and ecchi moments.
