This work goes with the full body gaming gear immersion concept. Your whole conscience and sense are sent in the game and you live a pseudo real new life in this game universe. Kou Mitsuki who goes with the nickname of Headhunting Crim is your typical veteran pro gamer in PVP and guild wars. Initially we are introduce to the new gear and game system named Duo who will be the universe in which our protagonist will be sent in. He will be stuck in this world for 3 months as his father removed the logout function from him. Which leaves a few issues that are really not answered. How does this device prevent muscle atrophy, food, hydration, body waste and other are not explained or explore. Just he is stuck in this and he will have to live in this game.

He get a bug and get the wrong avatar selection choice, become a female player. He is also sent way further then he should be from the beginner village.

Having switched gender has no real impact to our protagonist who isn't really phased by that. Which is later hinted that something isn't all it seems.

Chapter 5 will leave you a hint that he might not be a he. He is also hiding a trauma that isn't well explained.

Chapter 41 gets a minor twist of sword art online with a master AI as a game director with a motive and a time limit.

But as of chapter 44 it has yet to be developed and explained.

A lot of potential currently thus why I rate it at a solid 7 for now.

The flow, the world building and art is solid but I would say that if the author doesn't give answers soon the whole narrative can fall off and as the story way of progressing is very slow paced and it's just becoming a boring cliche path of the compulsory tournament arc and then guild base building. I like concept of mysteries but the fact it is dragging itself more then it explains or resolve anything can become a frustration. For now, enjoy the ride and let see if we discover an underlying dark truth.

It's ok. The characters don't really ever get fleshed out, the whole gender thing isn't really explored beyond 私 vs 俺 and the fights tend to drag out. I do like how the npcs are treated like real characters which is kind of lacking in some other vrmmorpg manga. There is some consideration to attention to detail like when Crim waits in the shadows outside of the desert ruins because she's a vampire, but other than that it doesn't veer too far from the standard. I personally would like to see a little more depth and character development but all in all it's not horrible.6/10.

This manga in the simplest term would be a mix of shangri-la frontier and Bofuri The manga has alot of action packed fighting and it is really high speed with how the tides of battle are often shifted especially in boss fights, but there is one thing that is very rare to find is the fact that during the fights there are moments where you can "feel" what is happening, the creators would add a single panel of silence, everything blurred in the background as if the characters are in the zone focusing to deal the winning blow, the crucial moment where it feels as ifeverything as stopped. Moreover, the manga displays combat mechanics very clearly to indicate the skill level of the main character, while the main character is the spotlight of the manga there is also alot of character development in the side cast with many of them feeling conflicted about different problems but they eventually comes to a conclusion and embrace it, they play games to win and to have fun, although the message isnt deep it also helps us appreciate gaming moments more even though it makes them seem carefree but that is why video games were enjoyable in the first place.

This manga loosely adopts the light novel, but the author decided to change up the story. Plot twists which are revealed in the first chapters of the LN are only hinted at at the beginning and in very few chapters. The main plot revolves around exploring a VRMMORPG, which would be fine if it was actually interesting and if the characters had depth, but sadly neither of these are the case here. Instead the manga mainly focuses on meaningless battles and other action scenes between the main character and his group vs random other players. The gender bender aspect is also irrelevant and the wholestory is basically just irrelevant filler. The art is good but can't save the lack of plot.

If you read the "I'm a spider, so what" manga and liked it, you will probably like this. If you hated what it did to the plot of its source, you will most likely dislike this one as well.
