Hen Koi: After School Diary oh god this is my first review so don't be complaining to me on how it's amateurish or whatever. At least i'm trying you know?! *cough* *cough* Well anyway.. The first time i've seen this manga is at MT, (which now is sadly removed along with the other japanese manga series T^T tsktsk) i was quite drawn to it since the title made it really intriguing in a way.. "Hen" meaning "strange" & "Koi" meaning "Love," thus -- Strange Love: After School Diary. it may seem at first glance a typical romance/comedy/seinen manga (which it is, in all aspect of its TRUE- which isborderline hentai genre) but no, it definitely gave me quite a shock there (in actuality, i really thought that it was a shoujo manga considering its title, so yeah..).

Story: 7

well, for starters, find yourself a girl (in which you are a boy by the way) who would, i don't know maybe, "bully" you by putting weird liquid on top of your desk and stuffs like pencil, etc. well not actually "bully" since he's only presuming that. Good start eh? Kind of Onani Master Kurosawa plus with the "action" if you know what i mean minus the pure awesomeness of OMK. the pacing is good for its length since its only 9 chapters and you wont feel rushed or dragged on.

clear, but not as not as good as other manga that i have seen. its pretty decent and good but is lacking quite amounts of detail and fluidity.

i like the ecchi girl and the boy is the generic type. well actually the girl is too. heh. the supporting characters are second to none, well since this manga has only 9 chapters in total. Character development, hmm, the girl actually develops-- into a more perverted person seconded by the guy!! But i dont mind since it is a bit nearing to borderline H. heh. P.S. i'd be damned if i do what he did around a certain chapter ending!

the perverted person that i am, well not actually that perverted, but perverted nonetheless, i can say to myself i enjoyed it, got laughs here and there with a couple of perverted smiles here and there. :)

it was a refreshing read if you have some time to spare.. :) well, even though you dont have, you can still read it (just dont read it with lots of people. :P)

If you translate the title of this manga, it is Weird Love. This is exactly what the manga is about - a rather pointless manga about weird fetishes (such as peeing). Of course, this is an ecchi manga with borderline hentai. What does the majority of these types of manga have? Popular girls, and big-breasted girls. This manga? It combines both types and throw in a story about them. “Guy finds his desk wet and eventually finds girl one after school and falls in love with each other”? Yeah, sounds like some excuse to place a love story on. The art is rather pretty, but art pointsare very few - especially on a story and cast such as this. Ugh, two main characters that have similar fetishes, that obsessive, jealous pervert that wants the girl… sounds like a pretty ridiculous cast; and it is.

The majority of these points were from the art and how so mildly amusing this piece of work was because of its story and characters. You know, weird fetishes and love stories don’t work very well. 4/10.

All the adorkable moments, witnessing the comedy,ecchi filled story is just delightful. This 9 chapter manga is of a strange yet passionately horny young couple of Honoka and Watase, the cude chemistry between the two is definitely on point as much as the centre of this manga and its various ecchi related plot.The short story is ecchi at best, "plot and proud" and you just can't help but, weirdly fall in love with the two as they go about their pervy teenage love romance.

It is an ecchi gem,it challenges the little pervert in us all and yes, it is nose bleed inspiring.Love and ecchi are one.

Art 6/10

Nothing fancy about the art ,its more story than art driven but, the art isn't as bad and by that I mean enough "plot" to excuse its faults,

hence a swift imbalance but, so goes mostly with basic echi related manga . The art is humble and it has a moe but teen romance feel to it.

Characters 8/10

Development of the 2 main characters and the other douchebag side character (as the cast has just 3 characters fyi ) was well done, basic, no complaints.go figure, its a short manga and I wish it went on alittle longer.

I mean, in a short manga like this its a make it or break it if they isn't balance in ecchi & story ,but in this one,everything had a way of just coming to an epitome of ecchi,love and humour.

Enjoyment 9/10

Nothing is too perfect but, this short manga will have a good place in your ecchi heart and if you are looking for a quick ecchi buzz ,this crazy teen horny love story is just for you

Seeing how this was made by the same person who made ''Love You!'' (one of the worse things i have ever read and a sin agaisn't all of romance manga) i expected something worse, wayyy worse. Aside from the water sports and that one rape attempt, which were hella weird but not nearly as bad as what happens in love you, it's just a p solid short lil smut. Is it worth reading? No, you would def use your time better if you did literally anything else, i don't see why you would ever read this if you're not into water sports or just morbidlycurious (which happens to be my case)

Hen Koi! Hen Koi! is your typical high school fantasy ,in other words, having sex with a hot girl not in your league that might fall in love with you. If you imagine yourself it’ll be exciting, huh? Well I’m telling you this manga is really exciting even to read. This will be my first review of a manga, so bear with me please. The following grades and explanations are my personal opinion thus do not judge me ^_^. The rating will be from 1 to 10. I will be rating every criteria. Plot: This manga has an 8 out of10 from me for it’s story.

Not a very complex story that may give you a high emotional state when reading. As I was saying this may be due to the fact that every boy(or girl) is his/her high school years fantasized about someone they like, liking them back. The actual story of this is about Watase Yuuto a normal high school boy that finds his classmate Aoki Honoka masturbating with his clothes. Not knowing what to do, his instinct and desires draw him to masturbate watching Honoka. He is caught as well(the irony) and as you were expecting an embarrassing situation, things escalate quite quickly from there on, and the story continues from there on with their desire for sex and an unexpected event near the ending which may give you a hard laugh.

Art: 8 out of 10

You will see that the art is quite old fashioned, if I may. The drawing consists only of essential parts, the details being left out. This has a quite common design for old mangas, but it’s still popular for it’s unique look.

That was about quality, now let’s talk about quantity. Hen Koi consists of 9 chapters with sensual hentai acts and romance. Each chapter has between 18-26 pages. You may think you need more, but it’s compressed design makes Hen Koi special.

Characters: 7 out of 10

Both of the characters are nice, but I prefer Honoka. Her personality far exceeds Yuuto’s. She’s also got the looks and is pretty confident, but still she knows what she wants and who she wants even when their below her as appearance, intelligence and so on(I’m referring here to the episode of Honoka and Yuuto speaking their minds about their relationship, chapter 2 page 15 to be precise).

Yuuto seems quite weak of heart and determination in the begging. Caring about what others say of him or his relationship with Honoka. But as the story goes by, Yuuto realizes that he shouldn’t actually care when he does the unimaginable in front of a bunch of people, just to make Honoka feel better with herself after her accident.

Amusement/Entertainment: 8 out of 10

I was deciding on whether 7 or 8, but I decided to mark it with 8 due to the short size of the story and it’s principal genre (hentai) that has nothing to do with being amused or entertained but rather aroused by it. Even so, it has some funny parts that can surely make you grin if not laugh. It’s plot and unexpected turn of events are quite unique in my opinion.

Overall: 8 out of 10

It’s really worth reading. The size of Hen Koi! is small but quality is it’s specialty, as for it’s author.

Yo everybody, I am the Self Proclaimed Idiot, and I am here with my first manga review. This manga is short, but this a normal manga length for me because I don't like reading all that much. On to the review. There might be spoilers. Okay there is a spoiler. Story (7): This story is so good, but I would had given the manga a 10 if the story started out much slower this would had been on my top 10 manga list. The story is about Yuuto Watase and Aoki Honoka. Aoki-san is a huge pervert, who gets off on the smell of Watase-kun. Thatall no more spoilers.

Art (10): The art gets a 10 out me because I think the art goes perfectly with story. But what the do I know, I just got into mangas.

Characters (8): Yuuto Watase is a high boy (I guess). He start the manga thinking someone was bullying him. But he sorely mistaking. Aoki Honoka is the school idol who, love the smell of Yuuto, she takes his stuff and masturbate with them. That's all. The other guy who name shall not be mentioned here was a real dick.

Enjoyment (10): I didn't stop reading this from the moment I started to read.

Overall (9): Go read it. It short weird but good.

A silly borderline Hentai manga that has a simple but enjoyable story. I love how the two meet and how their romantic relationship starts. It's a nice change of pace to meet two characters that do not hide from their true desires. A lot of fetishes are explored in this story but nothing that bizarre. The comedy is not over the top but will make you laugh at the stupidity of it all. The art is a little lacking to me, it's simple and reminds me of everyday ecchi blended with a shoujo manga. This is a great manga to read if you are interested in seeinga silly comedic hentai manga that feels genuine.

This manga is actually your rather generic ecchi/comedy story, it's pretty straightforward with a very simple plot without many twists and a very small cast of characters (actually apart from the 2 protagonists, only another character is of some relevance to the story), which is only partly justified by the shortness of the series. Yet, despite its obvious limits, i found it really enjoyable due to some factors that helps it emerge from the mass of similar products. First of all, the romance is pretty good. I'd even say cute, which is really odd, considering the entire premise of the story is that the protagonists are actuallytwo big closet perverts (therefore completely justifying the name of the series, which rougly translates into "Strange love").

Second, precisely because the protagonists are actually really perverted despite looking very far from being so (the boy being the usual generic naive yet good-hearted and selfless "nice guy" that happens to be the protagonist in EVERY hecchi manga, while the girl is the amazingly cute girl next door with huge boobs that also happen to be very shy and good-hearted), this leads to very funny situations. The humour comes from the sheer contrast between the apparent naiveness of the characters and their obvious love for feticism and exhibitionism.

Third, the manga avoids the usual (and pretty boring, i may say) cliche of the unresolved sexual tension where EVERYTHING seem to conspire against the protagonists always preventing them from actually doing anything.

In the end, it's nothing groundbreaking nor very original, but it's funny, sexy and even strangely heartwarming in some parts.

The ecchi meter is pretty high, being actually the manga more of a "soft hentai" then actual ecchi. Consider it as a heavily censored hentai, in fact.

As a final, personal consideration, i should add that i found it funny how the story actually reminded me of my first long-term relationship. Me and my girlfriend used to be a little pervy as well and both of us were virgin at the time we met, so we started experimenting a lot with sexy games. We didn't indulge in fetishes as much as depicted in the story, but our attitude was pretty much the same. I may bet my money that the author had a similar experience (or heard about something akin) and used it as an inspiration for the story.

This short manga was an awesome short experience for me, Am not saying its the most memorable story because its not, its just a story of two rabid lovers who want to jump each others junk whenever possible and the more the dangerous and risky the conditions are the better. Am not going to write too many words its just one of those bizarre stories that should usually creep you out because of the weird fetishes and stuff but its all well done under the blanket of love so its all acceptable with a comedy twist in the mix too. Also nice fap fuel.

It is the worst manga that I've read, and three words can summarize it: strange, masturbation and nude. [MINORS SPOILERS] The manga haven't a story, here a little bit of it: Watase see his school supplies with a sticky thing, and he waits after class to see who do it and see Aoki masturbating, this is the story, they masturbating in anywhere and anytime. [END OF SPOILERS] The art isn't bad, but isn't the best; in the genres have "comedy" and "romance", the manga isn't funny, it's strange and uncool, and there isn't a romance, it's only two people masturbating in anywhere. I don't dislike this manga justbecause it's ecchi. I dislike it because it hasn't a good story nor a decent enjoyment.
