Warning!! might contain spoilers!! Story: Boyfriend is kind of a typical shoujo manga. But somehow it has this "thing" that makes you want to read it 'till the end. The story is kind of common but the next thing you know the plot is actually kind of different. Like, if you thought that the guys likes her already,but it turned out that he's not really into her yet. I could talk about this as long as you want but it will result to a major Spoiler and I don't want that to happen. lol So yeah, its a cute story. Trust me, I'm not really drawn into readingshoujo but this is actually a pretty good read.

All I can say is that the guy is HOt! Hijiki is pretty well drawn too. So overall, I think its cool.

Boyfriend was about a girl who transfers into a new school and befriends the cool, aloof genius boy of the class. It turns out she left her old school because of conflict, and with the help of Tachibana is able to overcome her anxieties. The story was a pretty typical shoujo, but I like reading them so it was enjoyable to me. I was expecting the truth behind why she left her old school to be more interesting, since she took pills during the beginning of the story. The only real miff I had was the ending, it was way too abrupt... The art was good,well drawn and clean. The characters evolved nicely, especially Tachibana's. It was a good short read, one I would recommend if your into shoujo.

Yes, this is your typical shoujo manga where the main girl falls in love with the guy, but the guy doesn't like her so she cries and yada yada yada yada. *Sigh So boring....The main girl is so annoying. She cries in almost every chapter and it ticks me off. She also interferes with other people's problems and thinks that she's doing the right thing. You might think that this manga is cute, but I personally like a manga where the girl is smarter and doesn't cry about every damn thing. In conclusion, don't read this manga.
