Reviews for Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power
Back to MangaThere are two reviews for this manga, one positive and one mixed, so I'll add the negative one. And for the most part it's negative for the same reasons others praised it. It's an OP reincarnator manga (or LN, but I've read the manga). BUT - he doesn't do anything. Protag is OP, but he barely actually fights anything. He has literally hundreds of maids, but doesn't fuck any of them. He doesn't even do anything with his memories of past life, I think we only know that he was lvl 8 capped commoner. Not even a name given. He is praised literally ALLTHE TIME. Every time he does something his dad be like "Good job, MC, here, have more infinite money and a new title". There's no problem in the manga that doesn't get solved with infinite money, even after the treasury allegedly bottoms out.
Basically, it gets boring. Protagonist is a stonefaced engine that might as well be a robot, antagonists are essentially nonexistent and ones that are don't pose a threat specifically to protag. There's little reason to enjoy this. I mean how can I enjoy an OP protag, if the OP protag himself doesn't enjoy shit?
I don't recommend.
Stoic, No bullshit, OP shota MC with easy politics. It's fun to read manga. It got some simple political setting and MC is very young but stoic. He don't show much emotions, kills when necessary. Plot : MC got reincarnated as 13th prince with S tier water magic. His other power is that this other stats grow depending on ability of his follower. From young age, he goes around solving many problems of kingdom with his intelligence. Plot also gives him many OP ability which he uses seldomly. World: So far, only humans are shown. It's medieval fantasy. So, flow and progress of story isquite good and it sucks you in, so you'll enjoy it.
Don't focus too much on money spending, it will hurt your brain.
Over all, quite enjoyable but not the best story.
This is an "overpowered reincarnated kid noble" type of work. BUT. It is very cleverly written and stands out from the never-ending pile of other works like this. What's important. No harem collection. The kid is stoic, doesn't blush all the time, doesn't act awkwardly around people. Reincarnation is quickly thrown out of the picture, but it might be brought up again at some point. One thing that stands out the most that this does not devolve into a cheap power trip, wish fullfillment, and MC by some sort of miracle does not devolve into a Mary Sue/Gary Stu. Meaning when he does something, he gets praised, but what he does is logical, and normally you don't quite see this coming. So it turns into a "what's gonna happen next" sort of expectation. There's no cuteness overload, and while side characters tend to praise MC for something he did, this doesn't exactly come off as "fake" or "forced". It feels reasonable.
Additionally, the art is nice. It is detailed and thorough. Not berserk, but definitely above average.
One minor problem is that sometimes the story moves a bit too quickly, moving through events. But this is not awful. Another problem is that MC spents huge amount of money, and it doesn't seem to run out. But, then again, it is not awful.
6/10 story, 6/10 art. 6/10 character, 6/10 enjoyment, 6/10 overall.
I believe this is worth checking out.
I've said so many times that I like strategy / intrigue / diplomacy / etc. stories that I'm almost sick of it. But that doesn't change the fact that "Noble Reincarnation: Born Blessed, So I'll Obtain Ultimate Power" delivered one of the best stories in this field! Guy is reborn as the son of the Emperor and happens to have a skill that makes him stronger when he has more subordinates. But that's not his only advantage, as he proves to have immense talent as a ruler. The manga is fantastic. The name is a bit misleading as his strength is more of a secondary aspect ofthe story, but I found the intrigue and his thinking, which is explained and explained in detail, incredibly entertaining.
Apart from the fact that it unfortunately has very few chapters, I can't criticize anything about this manga.
This bottom-of-the-barrel shit perfectly incarnates all the most infamous traits of japanese isekai. Ultra OP MC without ANY effort, infinite harem (atm it's a pseudo harem only, his hundreds super sexy maids who even had a special hotbath chapter at the beginning), reincarnated as a prince, chunibyo wannabe-cool rhetoric at pretty much every other panel, MC is super lucky super talented super intelligent and super beautiful (he even has eyes of two different colors because all the rest wasn't enough to make him oh-so-special), and don't forget the typical trope that EVERYBODY else is a complete retard or someone needing saving and so the MC canconstantly shine and play hero just by breathing.
And as other people said, the MC has a completely emotionless face and personality, and all the nicest aspects of isekai like using knowledge from your other world are COMPLETELY absent.
It's truly the most lazy, unskilled and cliché writing you will ever find.
Even cultivation trashua are better than this shit.
The ONLY positive thing is that it made me appreciate again korean writing that I have been heavily insulting lately as it's indeed extremely repetitive after a while (and it's 6 years that I hardcore binge manhwa).
I can understand how depressed outcast teens with 0 self-esteem who dream of reincarnating as a noble with cheat skills and perennial success with 0 effort and 0 adversities can like shit like this.
But I can't imagine how and why anybody else would.
I should have dropped at chap 4 when the MC, 6 y/o, no muscles, no aura, no skills, no previous training with sword, defeats with mere technique the best swordsman of the continent in 2 moves.
The whole story is at this level of nonsense.
Writer, if you need to pay your porn-hub subscription, find a proper job, something you're good at. Writing isn't it.
