Reviews for Bitou Lollipop

I started reading this manga because I'm a fan of Iketani Rikako's work. As always, it didn't disappoint me. Story(8): It's good. There are some predictable and unpredictable moments and you won't be able to stop reading. Art(9): Those who know about Iketani Rikako's works are used to her art. I personally loved it from the first moment. It's unique and refreshing, not typical shoujo. Character(9): The main character is funny and.. unique, I could say. She's not the smartest nor the most beautiful girl, but she's amusing and you'll find yourself rooting for her. She doesn't go fangirling the jerk who pushes her away. Then there's thiscute, younger guy who likes her.

Enjoyment(9): Like I said, I enjoyed reading and couldn't stop.

Overall(9): If you are a fan of shoujo, you should totally try it. Even if you're not a fan, you should still try it! XD

I've read the manga about 4 times. One of my favorites! I love the story because it is different and I can feel related to madoka. The romance is not forced or something and it happened at the right time. I liked all the characters, I had fun reading and even getting angry and not agreeing with some things, I could understand that they are teenagers and I started to like it even more. it took paths that I didn't expect and it seemed like a very real and good ending. I think one of the strong points is that I didn't find the story obvious at anytime, I read it for the first time when I was 16 and I loved it, today 5 years later I still like it a lot.

It's not cliche and i wish was more mangas like this one :) make me

This is the worst manga I’ve ever read. LOL The beginning of the manga takes other courses, it is nothing to do with the synopsis trust me. The art is pretty, yes. And the mc is likable but the plot is really all over the place. The romance is miserable and wishy washy. All the side characters are depressing(not in a way that makes you feel things). They start to care for other characters out of nowhere, it is so confusing :(The ending didn’t have any follow through as well, it was just too convenient and meaningless.

I regret reading this manga.

I just wanted it to finish by the end of it.

The series is about a girl who's parents won 1 million dollars in lottery. Now they will make their dream of wanting to become doctors real. So they are leaving there kid in some strangers house and moving away to study. Now the daughter has to deal with the mom who is a bitch, the son who doesn't want her there and the father who likes to think she doesn't exist. If you couldn't tell she has shit parents. In fact majority of the characters here are kinda shit. I originally enjoyed this series. The main heroine and the main hero were pretty decent. I thoughtthe main hero was kind fine. Though i did originally dislike him as well. To be fair though i disliked pretty much every character at least originally. The actually kinda liked why the FMC fell for the MMC here. She makes fun of him with her friends saying stuff like she doesn't like the overly popular boys but also hates herself because she doesn't want to admit that she fell in love with the same boy for the same reasons as everyone else. She felt less special but in a good way. Like more relatable in a sense.

Sadly though everything around the main character is a shitshow. The series was still enjoyable though on a mininum level but after the timeskip it just became much worse. Though some characters did get character development and did become more likable they were just too many garbage characters in the series. One of the worse ones was actually the father. Who i shit you not, leaves his wife, has an affair and takes away all their money. What the fuck

Its quite sad too because the author really knew how to draw a woman in love, but too many shit characters just ruin the series. I did like the ending but the last couple pages i did not like.

TLDR: Shitty side characters. Too many shitty side characters. Despite lovable Heroine. 4/10

So i just read this manga based on someone recommendation. And just as a i thought when i read the first chapter, this manga is really interesting and definitely on my top tier list. The story revolves around madoka whose family just won a lottery and that lottery changes the whole thing. It is really interesting because from the start until the end the story connected to this lottery. I just cant stop reading it because i cant really guess what will happen next and who will be the end game. And u can only know who is the end game until aroung chapter 20 maybe?The character is lovable and pretty realistic, the art also so great and catch my eyes. Definitely must try it for shoujo lovers.

In this review i am kinda confused to actually give it a 9 or 10, but i decided to give it a 9 since it doesnt give me so much chills.
