This is one of those "feel-good" stories that don't carry a lot of drama. The manga sells itself as one revolving around food, and this is true, even with the backdrop of a budding relationship. The characters are mellow and have their quirks, but nothing very overt or outrageous that some might like in a slice-of-life. It feels like a more soothing manga for an older audience, taking things slow in the world. If you don't like stories that don't have much of any conflict, this probably won't sit well with you. The art is serviceable. One big, valid gripe would be that the males almostall seem to be based off the same template of hair an face, with small tweaks and accessories. The food isn't actually super textured like some food mangas might be that are hyper-realistic. It's mostly rather simple and still a little cartoony, usually with lines and maybe a texture or two.

There are unfortunate moments where the dialogue feels forced as a means of advancing the relationship. This comes sometimes in the form of thoughts that pop out of a situation that isn't totally related, or asking questions out of the blue with little real reason given the context. It's not super egregious, though, and the overall writing is pretty good. You have a lot of banter that sounds natural, and that's a good thing.

Overall, this is a manga for people who want a break from the drama-filled love stories, and it comes with food on the side!

A through and through SoL enjoyer here. Story: 8.5/10 (from SoL viewpoint) The story fits perfectly according to the genre, nothing much happens, just day to day life with little progression towards realising thier feelings. It is well written, the work mainly caters to adult audience. Some teenagers might find this interesting but I think the majority will shy away because it is purely a SoL. I am bit of a foodie too, hence, it was very cozy and warm story to read revolving around food. Characters: 7/10 Character pool is small, the MCs have bit of a history too. Overall nice.Art: 7/10

Expressions, ah yes, the expression is important. The art is simple (by simple i mean above average) which fits the story perfectly. Panels and dialogues are also spaced pretty well, it is not so cramped and feels open to read.

Overall it is a solid 8/10 from me.

This is an overall wholesome piece without any drama or hard feelings. It has just the right amount of sweetness, not too much to make it feel “cringe,” but not too little to make it “boring.” It’s good as it is! Content: 8/10 The story matches the vibe and direction of the manga really well. It’s good at what it sets out to do: no unnecessary drama, and the only relationship problem is resolved lightly through conversation. The ending did feel a bit rushed to me, and I would’ve liked at least one more volume, but it’s still great. Style: 8/10 The art style is exactly what you’d wantfrom a wholesome romance manga. It doesn’t need to be top notch, just cute characters with enough care in each panel, which it delivers. The art quality also stayed consistent throughout.

Personal Enjoyment: 9/10

Shout-out to the “Fluffy Low-Stakes Romances” stack. This is another manga I stumbled upon right before bed, only to end up reading all the way through. My initial feelings after first chapter was around an 8, but it didn’t disappoint me at all and ended up feeling like a solid 9.
