Being a huge fan of Rumspringa no Joukei I lost my marbles as soon as I realised this one was a spin-off with Danny's brother. I wanted to see this and here I got it!! And how well exectued it was, my god. Every element of this manga screams masterpiece. That's exactly why I gave it the appropriate scores. I have few words and countless feelings I'd love to convey. Please if you haven't already, give this manga a shot as well as the parent story. They are truly unique one in a million experiences. With the number of yaoi manga I've read I can confidently say these two haveto be the gold standard.

Honestly can't wait to read more from this author in the future!! Really hope I get the chance.

A very beautiful piece, I love the art and the flow of feelings. It gives you feeling of nostalgia, of unknown but at the same time you feel comforted. I didn't like much *spoiler* the separation part with no contract at all - is that really what can happen when you love someone this much and you can't stand being away from each other? No idea.. maybe thats why its easier to just break it all off. The ending was too unclear too, I mean, I guess I just wished for typical, emotional and full of love ending. Even though I didn't like this parts, the storyis totaly worth of reading. Totaly reccomending

Gene is a country boy who runs away from farm life to seek his fortune in New York. However, Gene doesn't find much luck in the city and in fact lives homeless. From here their love story was born, interrupted by Gene's decision to study in Canada to educate himself and find a well-paying job The two meet thanks to Trevor's little nephew, also named Gene, who reading his uncle's diary contacts his now distant love for 15 years Dear Gene is a very sweet manga that doesn't deal withparticular dramas but is the story of a boy who chases his dreams of living a better life than what the countryside had to offer him. Furthermore, the two protagonists of the story are both very sweet and understanding of each other.
