still waiting for the serialization lmao when is it gonna happen as a slice of life fan and romcom fan, i can see this do extremely well, if the author decides to continue the series, but its been a year lol the premise is quite simple. it basically follows a succubus trying to survive in a human world, and the male mc is basically trying not to be tempted by the succubus. but some inciddent happens and now they gotta live together. typical setup and im dying to know what happens next it was an enjoyable and relaxing read ngl based on this one shot, i give it a10/10 so please continue the series lmao i will gladly eat it up

To keep this short and sweet I will not be summarizing it as other reviews and the mal summary have done that well enough. This is a very sweet manga with two main characters that are very easy to back and want to follow along with, as it answers the question of to how far will the Japanese society of the future go to combat falling birthrates, and to that they only say "succubi," which, in my humble opinion is a perfectly fitting response. All jokes aside, if you like rom-coms and don't mind a bit of tasteful ecchi slipping in every now and then, thismanga is for you and you should definitely read it. Being a fan of rom-coms myself I can say this one is very well done and the entire romantic part of the story. The ending also turned out better than I expected and filled in the hole in my heart left after finishing cyberpunk edgerunners, and has a very sweet "where are they now" kinda feel to it.

TLDR, if you like romcoms and don't mind some ecchi, I recommend giving this one a go, it's only 23 chapters and wont be a waste of a time if it's not to your taste

Majime Succubus Hiiragi-san is a romcom manga about the relationship between a succubus and a japanese salaryman who is targeted by her. The plot revolves around the MC having to refuse sex with her while they still are both attracted to each other, with his over the top earnesty at refusing temptation being the main point of comedy in the series. Over time their relationship grows by overcoming various challenges. If you are looking for a great romantic drama with many highs and lows this is not the manga for you. Its a simple, romcom that doesnt take itself serious at all. The comedy is quitegood and I would argue the main strength of the series. Its just so ridiculous over the top at times that I have found myself laughing out loud quite often. If you are looking for a short simple, cute and funny romcom manga, then I can recommend Majime Succubus Hiiragi-san.

Even by the standards of ecchi garbage this is simply a bad manga. It's low effort slop that's full of plot holes (for example the story keeps contradicting itself on how succubi are born). It's boring, predictable, cringy and the conclusion is beyond frustrating. To exemplify just how disappointing this manga is, when presented with the dilemma that a romantic relationship between a human and a succubus is intrinsically unsustainable because of the differences between their species the solution offered is "eh, who cares, marry me". Why was the dilemma even brought up (and initially made into a big deal) if it was just gonna behand-waved as something not even worth thinking about?
