This is as enjoyable as a feel-good, slice of life manga can get. Sure, it's a bit shallow, but who doesn't love a puddle to splash once in a while? One notable element is that it's in the josei genre, capitalizing on realism and adult (but not necessarily erotic) relationships. These are people in love, but they are adults with jobs and brains. Unlike many in the shoujo genre, they resolve miscommunications by, cue drum roll, communicating. And no one's a jerk masquerading as a misunderstood bad boy, which is greatly appreciated. It can get cheesy at times, especially with the main couple. A lotsaying that someone's cute and all that. If you want something more substantial but slice of life, go somewhere else like Wotakoi. However, that isn't as cute and romantic as this. You win some, you lose some.

The characters can be basic, but they feel like real, well-rounded people. Their story arcs aren't as life-altering or transforming compared to high school, but that's because they're developed. You know, adults who are ready for a relationship.

The plot is simple enough for a slice of life manga. If you want over-arcing storylines, go to Avatar or something. It still keeps you interested, but it's not casual than anything else.

Anyway, humor: top-notch and light. Characters: some are basic and a bit cheesy, but they're used well. Morals: not preaching per session, but it values time being put into a relationship, getting along, and developing as a person.

No one will probably find this review, but hell. Enjoy!

The final chapter is finally out, and the story is finished. It was... decent, and pretty fun. But at the same time I felt like it was quite lacking. One of the problems I usually have with "adult characters" in manga is how they're actually middle to high schoolers in soul, just in the bodies of adults. As you can guess with the premise, it's exactly what's happening there. A couple of 30 years old who have never had a relationship before. Naturally, in a very manga fashion, they'll proceed to get embarrassed over everything, slowing down progression greatly. The side couple is actually more charming than the main couple, which says a lot.

Although, they're still cute together and we got a lot of cute and wholesome moments, so it's not too bad.

The end is okay, albeit super rushed in my opinion. The buildup was there, but then it just... ended?

Overall, could be a cute manga to binge over a random afternoon, but it didn't really have a long-lasting impact on me.

Take note, this review is biased by my own emotion when I discover it in manga rock back in 2018 when well, my heart almost breaks down. Really, what a beautiful story from the first to the last chapter. Kinda hoping for a more developed ending in the end roll but it is what it is. The story starts when Inoue Kanata, a salaryman that almost hit his 30 meets a certain girl after his junior in college Kurata Aki. She met with Yamamoto Yuumi, the girl that is gonna change his world fully, and what a surprise, he changed hers too. The summary of thisstory is daily life about some awkward almost 30 years old men and a shy woman in her mid-20s.

The story itself is very well built with not only a happy feeling but also anxiousness. The added spice is written so well not to mention the character of the story in itself are very well built. The entire premise is how well an awkward man and shy woman develop in the story also the problems they got when getting there.

Ah, the beautifully drawn character and background are fully fascinating to watch not to mention the word bubbles are also very well placed. The author really did well in their masterpiece.

Overall, it's a good feeling that they ended beautifully and nothing harms close to every couple in this entire series to the point they almost make another couple from here and then and that is really good aspect to have some rest not only paying attention to the main characters but to some others too.

I'll see you guys on the next trip. Cheers

In order to enjoy this series, the reader would have to accept the initial premise that there are two people equally attractive in their 30s with the confidence and maturity of middle-schoolers. If you can accept that, then this might be a pleasurable read. It's just that this is barely any different from the hundreds of manga out there with a vanilla high school romance setting, except those high school settings almost always had a unique twist. This one doesn't have anything unique about it, unless you consider these characters are actually middle-schoolers in adult bodies. I'm not necessarily saying this series is bad. Maybe justseeing two fully grown-up 30-year adults freaking out in their minds and expressions about HOLDING HANDS is a bit too much.

A dangerous, potent substance disguised as a cutesy romance manga. Beware. This manga’s sweet tastes would surely strike the palate of one who loves the sort. Its pages flow a calm stream of fluff, bringing along a balanced warmth. Slow and steady. Never over the top, but just enough to redden the cheeks and awaken the ever-dormant butterflies within the reader. The lively, expressive artwork very well displayed the emotions and also elicited them within me. Picking something up one day and catching up with the current six volumes the next is not something you can find me doing, attesting to the absolute potency I described. Thetwo of the main couple, both around 30 years old, (as the title implies), are both brand new to the field of romance. The girl, Yamamoto Yuumi, immediately confesses this when they meet, but the guy, Inoue Kanata, doesn’t. He has come off as cool and popular to her but doesn’t want to ruin that by also revealing that he too, has no experience. They stumble around the hall of their relationship, with Inoue attempting to hide his inexperience by dancing a dance far too elegant for his abilities. He ventures into a facade fitting of her image rather than staying true to himself.

One shining factor I found is that manga is mature and realistic in its handling. While Inoue does hide his inexperience, he eventually confesses the secret relatively quickly compared to other works. No two adults would play the games frequented by the youth. I mean, the two are around 30 years old. They don’t have time for this, and that is what I really liked. I always wondered, “Why don’t they just talk about it?” and this did just that. They noticed something was up and resolved the problem right there, a feat that would bewilder the average romance. This maturity is found within every other character as well. While they all might be simple, they are realistic and feel genuine because of it.

As I mentioned, the manga is sweet and cute. Many stupid smirks and laughs were had, with the dread of knowing that achieving something similar being unlikely slowly creeping onto me. As a guy, enjoying something like this as much as I did is pretty embarrassing, to be honest, but I never cared much for such norms. I was looking for a cute, romantic, light-hearted comedy and found it. If you want substance, maybe more handling of relationship issues, I would look somewhere else. The couple is pretty much a perfect match, so any problems are rather minute in the grand scheme.

Overall, as an adult, slice of life romance, this does everything right. It stacks the elements of comedy and romance with its tone very well. I had my laughs along with my seat edging moments. Hopefully, you will have them too. Just be prepared to get diabetes, a fate many have met after intaking this manga's pure wholesome-ness.

"Around 30 dakedo, Hatsukoi desu." or "I'm Around 30, but This Is My First Love" offered mildly intriguing content and premise for a romance manga. Keeping in mind that the overarching theme is comedy, the more lighthearted elements, although overblown and frequent, at that, strictly commits the manga to exploring innocent love. The only missing element that could have been improved upon was adding any semblance of conflict; often times the manga is repetitive in scope and the reader becomes easily dragged along by mundanities it settles into. Moreover, this idea can also be applied to some of the characters at times. The manga doesenough to keep readers entertained but really never takes initiative to explore anything outside of its comfort zone. Albeit, the characters and their intentions are pure and expressed with the logic, common courtesy, and emotional honesty people in actual relationships often come to realize. Recommendations for this manga are better suited for hardcore SoL readers or anyone willing to find solid enjoyment from a slowly paced development that rewards readers for their patience. Overall, the manga played its expectations safe and its family-friendly material safer. 7/10

It's just a very sweet manga, if you wanna relax and turn your brain off for a bit and scratch that romance itch this is definitely a good read. The first couple is cute, nobody is experienced and while the lack of progression may not be very entertaining for everyone there is a reason that this manga has more couples. This one serves as the main couple and their innocence and cuteness towards each other is enjoyable to read so much so that progression isn't really something I think about. The second couple which are the friends of the first couple are also really nice tosee, they are both interesting characters with distinct personalities and the progression here is mostly marked by the girl trying to get as many facial expressions out of the emotionless looking guy as possible and it's a treat to read and their progression is a lot faster which scratches that itch if you don't like how slow the first couple is.

The third couple... I don't like them very much, it's the reason this is an 8 for me, as of now not all the chapters are translated so there are about 10 or so left but I can already tell I don't enjoy their dynamic. It's just kind of plain and the guy is somewhat pushy and annoying which isn't my favorite to read.

After roaming, swimming, diving to all these sea of manga, I finally found this gem. The gem that somehow can see what's the future it's like for me if I don't do this thing soon. Story : 7/10 The premise of the story is about 2 inexperienced adult who get set up by an angel (their friend) for a date and hits off after all the wholesome awkwardness in their first meet. Pretty decent and cute for a romance story and recommended for anyone who like something light and sweet. Art : 8/10 Pretty cute, I like it. They didn't draw it like the typicalromance manga and I'm glad no one here has oversized organs (If you know what I mean).

Character : 7/10

I want to report this because I'm in this manga and I don't like it.

Jokes aside, assuming this manga also has SoL in their genre then this one is pretty normal for the character. There are no big difference between each characters, so pretty much so-so

Overall : Recommended for anyone who like something light and sweet and definitely for someone who like romance.

Edit : Since I've just finish this manga, after all that wholesome relatable cutely story... The ending is a bit anti-climatic.. This manga can be better if the author wrote the ending a bit better. There's no closure or whatsoever even we know how the story gonna end..
