I found Baka and Boing while looking around on a manga reader. I saw that it was ecchi and was pretty highly rated so I started reading. So far I have been laughing from start to where I am now. The first few chapter are funny, but then the story kicks in and the whole book gets rolling. The story is about a guy who has to live with a model's ghost and has to get other spirits wandering the earth to heaven so save the model. The story is great and the comedy is awesome too. The art is great in my opinion. Theart is clear and detailed very well. It's an on-going series so I'll update as more chapter are released.

A warning is that there is nudity so if you don't like that then it may not be for you!

I dislike this manga. As usual the story seemed interesting enough for the first few chapters. Reading on I realized all the characters are stupid (hence the name I guess). I kept on reading because I like the drawing style but the story... seriously I think it would have been better off a one-shot ero manga instead. Story: 5 Art: 7 Character: 3 Enjoyment: 2 Continuing on with the story just prolonged its idiocy... I stopped reading it before finishing the last chapter the scanlator uploaded. If they had kept going I might have continued because that would give me some hope the characters will possibly getsmarter.

One character did show up who was almost smart enough to have saved the manga for me but then a couple more idiots showed up after him. I couldn't enjoy this manga when to me it was implying that their world mostly consists of vulgar people.

Stupid characters made the story stupid.

Yes, I am indeed blaming it on the characters. The story would have probably been much better if they started out with a smart character before chapter 13 or15.

tl;dr: A manga with amazing art with a story that starts out pretty well but falls apart horribly. This manga was interesting for the first half or so when it was focused on both of them just helping spirits move on. The premise is interesting and though stories for the spirits were a bit too slowly paced, they were interesting enough so I would say it’s a concept pretty well executed. Character and relationship development of the main couple was pretty slow, but it was moving along and I was getting invested in it. The more long-term side characters introduced with these stories were interesting as well. The comedy was also pretty good. About two thirdsof the way through it dropped this concept of helping spirits completely in a way that made it feel a lot like everything up to that point was pointless. But the bigger problem is that the new plot line was messy to the point of being bad. The plot completely loses cohesiveness and makes no sense because the rules are pretty much arbitrary. It focuses only on the two main characters, thereby throwing out the good job it had done with side characters so far, but doesn’t particularly do a good job with them either and though their relationship did advance, it didn’t feel like that advancement was substantiated and hence didn’t have that much impact. It goes in a random direction without it being clear what exactly it’s trying to do up until the ending, at which point it provides an incredibly unsatisfying ending that leaves a bitter aftertaste. One thing this manga does have going for it from beginning to end though, is that the art is amazingly good and really nice to look at.
