This manga is the complete package. I can’t remember the last time I was this satisfied by a BL story! To me, the manga is the perfect length to explore the main characters and their relationship, tell a satisfying narrative arc, and flesh things out with bonus chapters! The author uses all the best tropes of the genre to build the story and forgoes the more uncomfortably dubious tropes that have plagued BL for years. What’s left is an adorably fluffy, fresh and original tale with great art and incredible pacing. It’s simple and familiar in many ways, but absolutely perfect in its execution. I’msure not everyone will be blown away by Sugar Days, but to me it feels like the culmination of the best parts of BL stories throughout the years. If you’re a fan of BL, this is a must-read!

Since no one else has rated it, I guess I will. It's a cute, decently written yaoi manga. It's pretty generic plot-wise, but overall pretty decent if you're in the mood for some short manga with yaoi and cute moments. Would recommend only reading it if you're bored or just have nothing else to do. I was able to finish it all in one go since I actually got pretty drawn into what would happen. Characters are also bland and generic but otherwise very cute together. Can't not ship them, tbh. I'd say it's 90% worth a read! Not too long and not too boring. If Icould see more chapters of this manga I totally would.

I can't stress enough how perfect this was! One of the BEST stories I've ever read. I can't count the amount of times I laughed so hard at them being so silly and cute and just so innocently adorable. Everything about it is just too great. All the characters here are so funny, relatable, and sweet. I'ma call our characters Yuu and Hana 'coz their names were too long. Yuu has been in love with his childhood friend Hana for a long time but he is on a bend. He has a height complex, and while Hana is taller, he is also very pretty. Littledid they know they actually liked each other. And so begins this caricature and compelling story of these two young, sweet, and cute boys about "climbing the stairs to adulthood", also with the help of their incomparable friends, who seriously needs their own stories because they are so funny and witty! I also love how he official translations best captured and delivered lines and expressions with the most exaggerated and gratifying moments that bring out the scenes to its greatness.

The story is really sweet, and it's like a slow burn. Even though we don't know much about each character, we can forgive them since it's a short story. Just a reminder that it can have some sex scenes in it. It's basically a romance between the two characters when one of them has a girly face. People who like BL and childhood friends to lovers would like this. I enjoyed the story, and the art style fits the story too. The characters react in a somewhat realistic way. It's mostly romance, though. I don't really read much romance, but I would gladly read this. And I think I'll probably read this again soon.

Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cute short story. Even the characters are not extraordinary their relationship is adorable and not toxic/abusive in anyway. Art: The art is great and it's a good read for passing the time when you're in need of light fluffy stories. Story: Nothing crazy but it definitely wasn't boring to read. The dynamic is what got me to read this initially because it's not something I see often and it ended up being great. The conflict was not too serious or long term which was nice because I was not looking for a real slow burn story. Overall great and worthbuying the book
