Reviews for Kimi-iro Eden
Back to MangaIt wasn't a bad one but I think the story jumped around quite a bit. The flow was not really continuous, maybe it is because it tries to fit in a bigger plot than what can be contained in a 6-chapter manga. Anyway, I felt like this manga was amateurish. It wanted to do a lot of things but only managed to glance over them. The story could have been handled better, and if it had, it could have resembled "Hana wa Saku ka" quite a bit. Okay, I don't have anything longer to write about this but MAL is forcing me. So here, some ramblings. The art was a little sketchy and messy, I think. But that is the style of the mangaka so nothing bad about it, it is just not to my liking.
Honestly this was quite boring. I dropped it at chapter 2 because chapter 1 had A LOT of dialog that wasn't really important imformation, it was mostly about gardening, setting up plans, talking to the wood people (the people who sell wood, I started skipping through it because it was just too much unrelated information and I was not in the mood) Then the MC and ML finally have a moment while the MC is being driven back to the train station, followed by more dialog about his father pushing this project into him and them just going back and forth. That part was importantto the story however it could have been cut short and put into maximum 2 dialog boxes yet the author did a whole panel and more. then the time skip happens and once again more useless dialog. It just didn't seem like a romance story and it felt more like a slice of life only that focused on gardening, doing a project and family drama which we don't even know what was the exact reason why the MC got "demoted" It didn't feel like a romance story at all, not sure if the rest of the story changes however if you want some romance and not in the mood for all the useless dialog (again it was a lot) that doesn't pertain to their romance building up then skip this story. If you have nothing else to read and want something then go for it and give this a chance.
