When I heard Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo was getting an OVA adaptation I was quite happy about it. Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo or (Kanojo^3 shortened) is a 2 episode thrill ride for those of us interested in economics and the workings of businesses. The story starts off with a young man named Shiki who lives on an island. Unfortunately his island has a volcanic eruption and must evacuate from his home and ends up in a relative's house which is currently occupied by a trio of girls that have loose relations from their childhood with him. Their relation to Shiki is debatable sincetheir hair colors are all different and they look nothing like each other, so somebody must have slept around and got stuck with 3 kids it seems, but that's besides the point. Shiki quickly adapts to his situation in his new mainland home, far away from the tragedy that happened in his hometown and gets himself into quite a bit of trouble with Akina (pink haired slut) right off the bat with some voyeuristic train dealings which was quite out of place in this economic based anime but I will allow it since it does build the characters. Shortly afterwards Shiki realizes that in order to live he must work and his place of business is an ice cream shop run by the household. Their business is definitely not booming and the main worker Natsumi (purple titty monster) is intoxicated on the job. Instead of firing her like he should have, Shiki decides to discipline her instead and in the wake of that they have even less sales which is one of the tragic themes in this anime. After that situation there is quite a bit of filler which is unacceptable in 2 episode OVA but it was enjoyable. It is not until the 2nd episode when the competitor's ice cream business shows up and with his ingenuity and the help of his perverted and comic relief friend he somehow pulls off the most sales he's ever done by dressing up the girls in maid outfits and ends up making much more profits than the competitors next door.

I have to say the story to this anime was quite good. The struggles of a young man who evacuated from a tragic situation is a good way to start a story and the difficulties he faces while selling ice cream only makes it better. However, it is not without faults..I was expecting a lecture on economics like in Spice and Wolf, however there is not nearly enough economic explanation in this. This anime is for people who know the terms and behaviors of an economist so the story only gets a 7/10 from me because I only took one semester of economics and forgot 99% of it since I slept in that class anyways.

The art is exceptional, it is quite good for a lower budget OVA and the detail is astounding. I have to give it a 9/10 though, because the buildings and backgrounds could have been done a little better but all in all the art was quite good.

The sound was generic yet entertaining. There's not much to say about it..so 6/10

The characters were a highlight of this series. It showed the struggles of Shiki and his coming to terms of his home being destroyed by a volcano and then his rise to the top of the ice cream business quite well. His trio of heroines also were fleshed out quite well and were a great support to his heroic role. I have to give the characters an 8/10 because I was disappointed in the fact that we never got to see more of the girl who was too poor to afford a bathroom and had to relieve herself outside...but such is the tragedy of today's recession.

Overall I enjoyed this series quite a bit. It is a must watch for anyone interested in economics and business running. In these hard times where jobs are scarce and money is short it is great that we get an educational show like this to come around. It is definitely not for beginners in economics though, the terms used are quite advanced and a lot of it should be known by the viewer before watching it. In order to get a more elementary understanding of economics I'd suggest watching Spice and Wolf first then watching this afterwards in order to get a full dose of learning about economics which is a must for succeeding in today's recession plagued world. All in all, this series gets an 8/10 from me..some of it was filler and some of it was a little off the course of economic learning but all in all this is a great way to learn about running a small business and the value of money and I suggest it to all anime viewing business majors and economics majors.

This is overall a great anime. Story: The only parts of the story that aren't really well developed are at the beginning and in school. But the story is decent in this genre that mainly focuses on sex. Art: Not much to say, great art. Sound: sometimes the actresses sounded slightly cheesy in the sense that it was extremely exaggerated, but still good voicing.Character:

The character development is also decent, however the male character's background is not clear at all.

Enjoyment:

I enjoyed watching this and it did not bring on any hideous or terrible disgusted feelings that some bring on. In fact, it was rather refreshing watching it.

The use of the comedy aspect does put some spin on outcomes. Sadly, the ending was cut short. A lot of things went on but rather than going out with a 'bang' the bang you got was a closed door so to say. ArtCan't find anything that there was not to enjoy.

If you havent its just about a guy who lives withhis relatives and starts an erotic relationship you cant really say its incest though.

ill first say ive seen this hentai many times before censored but was finally able to find a uncensored version of this but with that said lets get into it Story: pretty much there actually is a story in a way that haruomi lived on a small island but a volcano erupted and now as too move in with his 3 sisters otherwise you kinda do get a story in episode 3 but i don't wanna spoil that for anyone here Art: art was pretty good nothing bad about it Sound: Sound was really good they don't have a OP or ED at all which iseh but still good

Characters: ill only be focusing on the main characters so here we go. Haruomi is the main guy she gets all the girls but hes a pretty nice and cool guy. Natsumi is a pretty big breasted girl shes i could say the clumsy one of the main girls and what not. Akina is a pretty up and going girl meaning happy a lot and what not but she is also a big breasted girl. Mafuyu shes a small chested girl but really straight forward and is kinda creepy but not in a weird way (also Mafuyu is my favorite girl)

Enjoyment: now with this i didn't care for the little peeing scene they had with Suzuran and also not a fan of pussy licking also there is NO rape its all pure but they do manage to put comedy in this which is neat hentai can rarely do that right but did it good

Overall: giving this a 9 yes this hentai is that good not a fan of pussy licking or that peeing scene but this anime was really good that had a lot of good sex scenes and the little sparkle of comedy was good

This is the only anime that you will ever need to watch. The art is impressive for it's time, showing a stunning level of realism in every nook and cranny and I mean every nook and cranny. The character's voice actors did a stunning job and made me feel truly invested into the story and I felt pleased on the character's arcs and where they turned out. I felt enjoyed watching this show at the dinner table with my parents (they liked it too) Overall the show is a high eight out of ten and I wish there is more to watch.

One of the best I've seen and my all time favorite even now. The studio did a great job adapting the original VN and the art and animation is great in general (this is from 2009 and the animation and writhing is better that some adaptations nowadays). It's hard for me to choose one single girl as my favorite and I love the simple "Daily life" scenario. The only bad point about it is that it's too short, even the new version of the third chapter just added a few scenes and the studio never even tried to adapt the sequel of the visual novel (one of thebest sequels for a VN I've played) which I think is a real waste.

To say Kanojo x Kanojo x Kanojo has been the greatest hentai I have watched this year would be an understatement as it just shows how low the hentai industry has declined over the years, a glaring indictment of the current state of hentai as compared to its former glory. This hentai is absolutely brimming with substance, from the intriguing plot line to the cinematography of critical points in the story and the characters with their distinct and unique identities, it really makes me nostalgic for that bygone era when hentai was expected to be good whereas nowadays the attitude seems cynical and sour. Therearen’t enough words to summarize why this hentai is just so damn good so let’s just get into each section, shall we?

Story : 10

What starts out as a typical “my childhood friends who are all sisters and their parents have died so I’ve come to live with them” shtick quickly evolves into a journey of rediscovering bonds long forgotten. Our MC hasn’t seen these girls in a long time and while we have seen this “oh my god she’s hot let me fuck her” over and over again, this hentai knows how to take its time and slowly build up to the actual explicit scenes with a few caveat (i.e. the train scene) but its a hentai so we’ll let those slide because when you look at the pacing as a whole, it is much slower and calculated rather than just jumping into it like most hentai nowadays does it. It is just generally refreshing to have a more realistic experience with the lucky lecher slider still pushed pretty far but not to the absolute extreme. We slowly build up this harem and through the non-explicit scenes we see how each girl reveals their feelings to him and while we see their tropey side on display, in these moments of intimacy they reveal a side of themselves to MC-kun that just adds a tangible depth enhancing the overall experience.

What really sets this hentai apart in terms of storytelling is the way the story is divided out into the three episodes. The first episode introduces us into the world, establishes relationships and eases MC-kun into his new life much like we are being eased into the hentai, this is followed up by a more casual episode where we get more character interaction while a secondary plot line introduces the main conflict of the show and the third episode addresses and resolves the conflict while solidifying the main character relationships. This approach allows the viewer to enjoy the story at a leisurely pace and has a lot of creative visual gags and jokes which kept me engaged. Furthermore, they added a lot of little details throughout the show hinting towards the main conflict and those details you pick up on make a lot of sense once the resolution is revealed which adds extra rewatchability and satisfaction when finishing the show.

Art and Animation : 9

The art and animation of this hentai absolutely blew me away and I feel like I say this every time but truly with these older hentai, while they may have a certain style that is subjective, objectively you cannot deny that you can feel a lot more love and passion put into these frames than modern hentai. Add on the many visual gags, with chibi versions of the characters as well as that Alien reference, you can tell the production team definitely had fun with this show because there was no reason to add that much detail but they still did it anyway. The camera angles were also a big differentiating factor as the camera is not static for long, constantly changing to different angles while reusing as few animations as possible so it never felt like animation cycling. Visually it was very dynamic and each character had different traits that played into their personalities reflected in their movement and helped give each and every character their unique presence.

Characters : 9

While arguably, these characters didn’t go through much development, you don’t always have to have development especially in a SoL comfort show type of hentai. As long as these characters interacted well with each other and were all generally likeable, it thrived on the relationships being rebuilt and strengthened through experiences. As a viewer, I was moderately invested and the feel-good ending helped solidify this comfort-type experience the show was trying to provide. Out of all the girls, it felt like Mafuyu’s trope of sadistic loli was played out the best but each girl still shined in their own way. No single trope was overplayed as a lot of the casual interactions were cut with jokes in between to keep things fresh and more serious interactions were played up to their best possible form which made the typical “hentai protag just fucks all the girls” a lot more believable because they all loved him equally and it was less of choosing a single girl because he had been through so much and shared so much with all of them.

Best Boy Honnouji

I’d like to just leave this section to appreciate the glue that kept the comedy of this show together. My boy Honnouji was the poor comic relief in a hentai and got absolutely nothing for it so let’s pour one out for the realest one.

This hentai was a good trip back when I first got into hentai. The story didn’t feel cheap or rushed, there was deliberate care and thought put into this show in every single aspect. It didn’t need the crutch of explicit scenes to carry it because people would still watch it regardless in my opinion. It was just so much fun, with not a single bad character, with not a single moment of dead weight, with just the right amount of comedy and a plot that wasn’t mind blowing but kept me intrigued in more than just the fucking to be had. Such a solid and well-rounded experience you’d be pressed to find anywhere else
