You can say that this special from the GL Gekijouban Zenyasai DVD is something like behind the scenes of Viral's life, before he became immortal. I recommend you to watch the live version and if you are fan of Viral or just of the funny moments in Gurren Lagann, you'll definitely love this short special clip!

Zenyasai: Viral no Amai Yume ("Viral's Sweet Dream") is a side piece to the main series, focusing primarily on the eponymous character Viral, who continues to have bad dreams. I'll be happy to report that while this segment is very short, it does not let down. A lot of it is devoted to comedy, as well as a meager amount of development toward Viral. A lot of it is really just pure jokes, which is exactly what the episode called for. Other characters also appear with rather entertaining antics, namely Kamina, who serves as a foil of sorts to Viral. While it might be difficult tofind, if you can, I recommend watching this: it's a very good laugh, and at the worst, it's only five minutes long. 6/10.
