The basic premise of this anime is as follows: Inspired by his childhood friend's father, the main character wants to explore dungeons and make a name for himself. However, he is weak and cautious, so he grinds daily on the top floor, killing slimes. After killing over 1,000 slimes, he comes across a summon card that gives him a legendary companion to aid him in the dungeons. To his surprise, he ends up with not one but two lolis, an incredibly rare occurrence. The main gimmicks of this silly anime are the loli servants and the protagonist's odd use of tools and craftiness to stay safe andprogress.

There's no deep plot, character development, or anything particularly catchy or interesting.

It's a cute anime for those who enjoy that style, but beyond that, there's not much to say. It's a bad anime. Everything about it from art to sound, is average at best

It was fun the first few episodes but, there are few things that has become irrelevant and has made the show kind if a bore. Took me 8 episodes to actually confirm and to see if these annoying points would actually continue or not. These points being: 1. TOO MUCH recycling of frames. You can actually count the main attack scenes of both servants 7-8 times in just one episode. 2. EXCESSIVE REPETITIVE LINES. Too much that you'll be aware of those lines once being uttered by the characters multiple times in the most random scene possible. 3. POOR SCENE/FRAME EXECUTION. Some actions of the animation "lacks properkey frames" to ensure proper execution and animation flow of the characters. One example is that of episode 8 [12:10 - 12:16], main character just appeared on the back of the enemy without indication that he moved and went there.

4. ANIMATION IS HANGING BELOW AVERAGE. Let's be real here, they prolly don't have that much funds for the anime anyway. It can't be helped.

5. THERE IS BARELY ANY STORY POTENTIAL. But at the rate where the story is going atm, its going downhill.

6. THIS IS JUST ONE OF THOSE MEDIOCRE DUNGEON EXPLORATION WITH CUTE GIRLS AS SIDEKICKS ANIME. Just with much less budget.

Do yourself a favor, and READ THE MANGA INSTEAD.. There is much more story to tell and key moments that the anime did not consider BECAUSE THEY COMPLETELY CHANGED THE COURSE OF THE STORY THAT REVOLVES AROUND HIS SERVANTS AND ALTERNATE/SERVANT WORLD BUILDING.

I can't understand why this series is rated so low! The main character is incredibly cool, striving relentlessly toward their dreams and training with unyielding dedication. The design of the servants and other characters is stunningly beautiful, even downright cute at times. Plus, the romantic relationships add an extra layer of charm to this already amazing series. How could such a fantastic anime end up with such a low score? It’s truly baffling. Is it really just because of some minor animation flaws or the fact that some fight scenes were toned down? This is why I never trust the scores on myanimelist. Numbersand ratings don’t mean anything! A great series may gain attention, but not everyone will appreciate its genre—and then it unfairly gets rated poorly by so many people for reasons that don’t make sense. If you don’t like it, just move on. Why give it a low score? If it’s not your cup of tea, watch something else. Is dragging down a series you dislike supposed to be fun or satisfying? I just don’t get it. Why be so harsh with the ratings?

the series is set in a the modern world where fantasy dungeon opened sometime ago similar to Solo leveling and i think that why many have have mixed feeling about the series as it so similar to solo leveling it compared to it and come out the worse for it the MC Takagi has been a dungeon explorer for two year and still stuck on the first floor hunting slimes until he kill a special slime that drops a servant card allow the holder to summon a monster or in the case of our MC a loli Valkyrie and he begins to get strongerwith her at his side.

Side note unlike Solo leveling it seem magic items and skills only work within a limited range of the dungeon entrance and the worldbuilding is a little lacking

the voice acting is ok No dubs have been made at time of review the art style not too bad similar to a lot of silver link or j.c staff series although this anime was produced by Gekkou the animation is also not bad

final thoughts if you looking for something similar to Solo leveling or Danmachi this maybe up you alley it no masterpiece but it not trash

ts is so buns bru give me my time back like bro how do studios pay to get ts animated this should've stayed as a novel or whatever. 😭😭 I'm truly disappointed by the way this was presented; it felt like a waste of time. The storyline did not live up to the expectations, and the character development seemed lacking. However, I must admit that the use of vibrant colors and the thrilling explosions did add some excitement to an otherwise dull experience. It's disappointing to see potentially engaging content fall short, leaving viewers like me feeling unsatisfied. Overall, I'd say I'd rather watch paint dry,but even then, there's something about it that keeps me hanging on, hoping for more depth and meaningful storytelling.

From an adult point of view this was a very average anime. It feels like it was made for children rather than a more mature audience (no gore, low stakes, no strong language). For older viewers this is a very mediocore experience. There was nothing particularly unique or interesting about the permise and the characters felt pretty generic. Even a "bad" anime usually has that one memorable character, because they were funny, weird or unique. This anime dosent even have one memorable character, they are all extremely generic. There was also no deep plot beyond, a mysterious dungeon appears and the main character wants toexplore it.

“A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero” aka “Mobkara” is what happens when a cliche idea is butchered by amateurish writing. This show is a rare gem. Indeed, rarely do I see something so badly written, devoid of charm and utterly boring. 99% of what we see is plot with little to no reverence to the story. Before we start I would like to explain something. I will be talking about “plot” and “story”. Many people use those terms interchangeably. I’m not one of those people, so to make sure everyone is on the same page… I use the definitions for “plot” and “story” as LisaCron describes them:

“What happens in the story is the PLOT, the surface events.”

“STORY is about how the things that happen affect someone in pursuit of a difficult goal, and how that person changes internally as a result”.

Oh boy. I really wish I had something positive to say about the writing but it’s absolutely atrocious. From the very first episode we get to see that this show will have absolutely no stakes. The world bends over backwards for the MC - Kaito from the get go. We barely see anything about his “before” state (the state of his life before his adventure begins), we do get some exposition through his inner monologue but it’s vague and not really interesting. He’s weak and has an obsession with the dungeon. That’s actually a good starting point. Which is destroyed in the very first episode when he finds his first (yes, FIRST) OP AF servant. The worst part? He just finds her. He doesn’t get her as a reward for doing something that would show us his morality. He just finds her as a drop. Above that he was contemplating selling her and had a moment that he regretted not doing that. Hell of a hero.

From that moment on we get 99% plot in which the world bends over backwards like a cheap whore for Kaito and 1% story. Which is much more than I thought given how bad the first episode was.

Without getting into too many spoilers he ends up with two walkin nukes in cute, loli forms. One angelic and one demonic. I can live with that. At least there shouldn't be any harem ecchi shit with that setup. He even becomes more confident and proficient (told You we get 1% story) which is a nice bonus. But there is something that is poorly explained and makes no logical sense. At some point he is invited to join a party. Their first pairing is explained pretty well. They wanted to take part in an event. Ok. That's good. But… after the event he is invited for more regular exploring and he accepts. Why? There is no need for that. His two loli-nukes are way more powerful than the girls that invited him and, because they are in his servitude, they won’t betray him. Something that’s always on the table when dealing with humans. I fail to see the logic of him joining forces. Especially that his loli servants end up rescuing everyone more than once. What's the point of the party? Oh yes, we need the male, boring protagonist to be surrounded by women that are far more interesting than he is, so they can develop a crush on him. Although why would a college student have a crush on a high schooler is beyond me.

Apart from that the last two episodes have the best story of the whole show. Not only Kaito’s personal story (which is boring as hell) but albo one of the girls from his party. We get to see how devoted he is when it comes to helping his friends (we don’t know if that extends to people that he doesn’t know because the first episode was garbage when it comes to character introduction), the fears of the whole party and even something I did not expect. A real crisis for Kaito. That was surprising in a good way. But we can’t have good things in a show as bad as this so his “crisis” is resolved with one conversation with no long term consequences.

Most episodes feel like some took an idea for one episode and stretched it to last at least two. I’m not even joking. The amount of useless joke conversation Kaito has with his servants is astonishing. Most of those are the devil girl asking for more “food”. I don’t need to see that after every fight.

This show is unwatchable. It has lazy writing, an unlikable protagonist, poorly choreographed fight scenes, no stakes and a world that bends over backwards for our “hero”.

Just read the manga This anime looked cute at first glance and I enjoyed it a bit, but it felt rather boring and simple. School scene, dungeon scene, school scene, dungeon scene, no real driving plot. Someone mentioned the manga was better and they’d cut a lot out of the anime, turns out that was completely true. The anime sanitized the designs, cut out the best fight scene ever for budget reasons and made the two servants pretty much insta besties instead of having their bloody battle and the entire Lucelia lore they teased at in the fight. Whats the point of making an anime adaptationif you can’t make a faithful recreation? The manga has interesting characters and an actual driving plot, the stakes are real and there’s actual danger.

Apparently the Light Novels are very boring, so it’s likely the anime adapted from those and is independent of the manga, but I dropped the anime and just read through the manga. Great art, interesting story, made me laugh, go read that instead.

now look, as my first review I didnt want it to be "my professional experience and opinions on this show" No. I wanted it to be everything I found wrong with the show. So we start with the obvious. Lolis, There is a LOT of lollis in the cast and your into that then thats fine but im not, it just got really dry after the 3rd one was introduced, and then they introduced another one so 4 lollis in total. second, (small spoiler) the 'drop rates', the servants the mc finds are supposed to be rare drops that go for "millions of yen" yet throughoutthe course of the show they mannage to find not 1, not 2 but 4 servant cards, completely demolishing any sense of rarity they might have had and tearing down the world building they tried to set up.

3. the plot. the plot has almost no movement what so ever the only time there was an actual plot point was in the final 3 or so episodes. there were several times I was watching and thought, why is this scene in here, it could have been removed and made no difference at all

4. corner cuts. It was more noticeable in the final few episodes but It did happen throughout the whole show that multiple cost saving methods were used in the show, reusing scenes or animations from other scenes or episodes, characters walking funny, (episode 10 i think) has a part where a characters hair is cut off and is not flush with the rest of the hair and on the final episode im 95% sure that they use the csgo ak sound effect for the gun a characters shoots. I get it small company needs to save money so take that one with a grain of salt.

You dont have to reinvent the wheel every time. Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyuutan is an incredibly charming anime that exceeded my expectations. I want to first introduce myself as a connoisseur of the fantasy adventure, and I pride myself on my taste in such. now with that cringey intro out of the way, this show truly is a fantasy gem that only comes everyone once in a blue moon. I swear to god every season has at least a small handful of fantasy/isekai shows that have something similar to this shows premise. The main character, Kaito, is basic, but not really meant to be projected onto, with enough depth to be interesting. The supporting cast is quite entertaining, especially Kaitos guy friends, they were usually a good laugh or two.

The story also isn't anything special, he has a crush on his neighbor/childhood friend, and a guy crush on his neighbor's dad who went missing exploring the dungeon. He wants to find her dad and prove everyone wrong, or something like that.

I've never been an animation snob, in fact I hate people who yap about animation. So just keep in mind this show has mid animation, it is what it is.

The show takes troupes from the genre and makes them pretty damn bearable, if not straight up well executed.

This anime gave me some hope for more fantasy anime to come, please please keep putting out good shows like this one.

8/10 for fantasy adventure

This is definitely in the top 10 WORST anime I've ever watched. It looks and feels cheap and emotionless. Animation seems on par with the ending of butareba. No characters are emoting enough to properly express their feelings- which makes their monologue feel flat and anything they're trying to convey ends up jarring. The main character is blander than a saltine and his 'love interest', ( if you can even call her that, because they're so blatantly forced together for the story. ) Has got to be one of the dumbest depictions of a woman I've ever seen... She's not even stupid in a cute way, like 'teeteeclumsy' its more like.. 'ohh.. shes actually got something wrong with her' kind of stupid.

Completely unbelievable dynamic and not only that but cringe to watch.

The dungeon lolis seem forced and generic (cookie cutter demon and angel tsundere/deredere personality types)

Generic side love interests that come out of nowhere with no build up just to create a love triangle

One of the laziest harems I've ever seen and that's honestly a huge accomplishment considering the competition.

Just DONT WATCH THIS. I promise, there are better things to watch.

You cant possibly be down on your luck and self respect enough to put yourself through trying to watch this dumpster fire of an anime.

I'd rather go touch grass than continue to watch this, and that's saying A LOT.

One of the adapted works this year, Mob Kara is a series using the Fantasy clichê with small alterations as an attempt to make it stand out from the rest: slightly futuristic version of Present Day but with fantastical elements; A.K.A the arrival of Dungeons in today's society. The protagonist; Takagi Kaito is a very generic character with generic personality that's still on high school and is trying to get a shot at dungeons due to a certain promise made by her best friend about her father. Sadly for him, he sucks big time at that and can't progress to the next floors and get betterstuff, with no other choice but to hunt slimes at the start of the dungeon for magic crystals and convert that to cash.

Lucky for him, his defective plot armor starts working for a few moments and he discovers a rare monster and dispatches it, revealing a god-tier item drop; a Servant Card. And a card of a Goddess, nontheless. And with that, he's not alone anymore inside that place, having a Valkyrie named Sylphy to aid him. Later on, he also finds a Demon Girl called Lucelia. There's just one small problem: In a case of False Advertisement, instead of beautiful ladies, he gets a Level 1 Chibi version of the same. (Yes, I say Chibi because both in the Light Novel and the Manga, both gains a super-deformed version of herself, while in the anime, they just straight up hitted them with the loli beam with no real explanation as of why they're like that).

The plot continues from here, while having to take care of his new companions, do some Mental Juggling to avoid telling the truth to his best friend and trying not to go broke.

To be very blunt, his development is not great. At all. The usual good boi that's very unfunny, being very dense like a bowling ball and as sharp as one. There is a few minimal interesting concepts here and there, but not enough to sustain his charisma.

The same goes for the other characters, with friend A and B being the typical school friends who do nothing but simping to other girls and... exist. His childhood friend; Katsuragi Haruka being that usual supportive girl that has a crush on him and not liking to talk about dungeons in general due to daddy issues, since her dad went to buy milk inside one and never came back. Jinguuji Airi being the honorable pretty Rich Girl #1 that fights with a Naginata. And SOMEHOW she also has a crush on that useless protag.

The minimal saving grace of the cast is Moriyama Miku and Tanabe Hikari, the Gamer Girl and Rich Girl #2. Their minimal relationship story is somewhat cute and they seem to really care for each other as friends. And those two are implied on having a crush on the protag as well... yikes.

About the Soundtrack; I can barely remember of any here with the exception of the opening song. That alone shows that it only exists there so that the anime is not muted all the time. Very forgetable.

The Animation; Not only it is bellow average, it is also very choppy and even on close-ups it loses details from time to time. For the backgrounds, they at least do the job to present a normal generic scenario.

The Plot; Most of it is about dungeons, but when they're not inside one, the quality drops very fast, with non-interesting topics/events and attempts at humor that misses almost all the time. And then, there's the last two episodes that out of the blue gets very serious and leaves the season 1 with an open ending, not completely solving the problem presented at hand. This last part feels very out of place for an anime like this one.

Overall Enjoyment; Not that big. One problem stacking on another made the watchlong a real drag, making me hope that it somehow could become better on the next episode... but that improvement never really came.

Closing Thoughts; The Anime adaptation of Mob Kara is a disappointment and it is regretable for me to have wasted time watching this. Most of what it tried to do, it didn't landed at all and it left a very mediocre product as a result. I AM NOT willing to re-watch this any time soon.

My final score for the Anime Adaptation of Mob Kara is 3/10.

Since this is not recomended by the website, I'll just breifly mention here. If you really MUST consume this series, then give it a shot to the Manga Adaptation. It it at least better in most, if not every single aspect where the anime adaptation failed.

Mixed feelings whether you should drop this or keep watching....if you're into lolis My thoughts for the remaining episodes between 1-4: I usually enjoy isekai shows, a mixture of isekai with real life terms is also a fun twist Or the troupe of a weak-ass character, an MC no less can be irritating but it eventually passes time to time. We have a timid, introverted MC called Kaito, who saw his chilldhood friend's father become a known hero. He saw him as the hero he was destined to become. Now I haven't seen every episode on this show, but his childhood friend Haruka was concerned for his well being, warning Kaito not to go to the dungeon because he is a weak ass mob character. But someething tells me that her dad died (it's an assumption, mind you).

For two whole years straight, he's been hunting slimes because of his weak build, low confidence and beyond broke fundings.

You'd think he'd have a title as "Slime Slayer", a well experienced guy who kept spawn killing slimes. Right? Wrong. Dude has the same tactics to kill slimes, gets very little EXP and he never got a title. Till he gained a card, this is where it gets annoying. I can understand dreading the thought of a rich life and a slave card, oh sorry "servant" card. -_-

Eventually half of the episode, he builds up the momentum and sates his curiosity, deciding using the card, we get a huge ass goddess illusion to some loli. A cute ass midget, maybe using this midget will make her into a full grown adult like Digimon, Kaito thought. Meanwhile contemplating that if someone caught him talking to a loli, he'll get reported by a police.

Syl or Sylphy, the blue haired midget gives you this weird sensation that she's like a puppy and you want to protect her. But you see her magic as an insane OP overkill attack on a poor slime.

As the story progresses, you get another loli. A demon loli, Lucelia, who has the Tsundere troupe. After that, he'd think he'd get another loli, but no it was magic. It was at that moment I felt like Kaito needed to seek help, or prison.

Now let's talk about the music. The reason I wanted to keep watching, was due to the music. Not the music of the show but the very composer, Keiji Inai, who made my favorite memorable soundtracks from Tenkyou no Alderamin and DanMachi. The best "bad-ass" moments of battle or tension. But I never got these moments.

I don't know what the director and sound director did to this, despite their accomplishments in great anime but I can honestly tell you this, I was f**ing disappointed. It was good. BUT! Why the hell was the music louder than the voice, like the overlay of the music was playing over the voice actors. Either something was wrong with my computer or with Crunchyroll but I can tell you it was annoying me. Even lowering the volume, didn't change the fact that "the music in question" was louder than the voice actors and the SFX in the background.

And the music was nothing special. If I were to give you a rating, I'd say the music is a 2/10. This is the kind of show you'd want to drop and leave it under a pile of dust.

Conclusion:

You're welcome to keep watching the show, but you'll have moments where you get pissed off at Kaito for his dumbass moments. They're trying so hard to be DanMachi but fail so hard, I'm going to see if I can handle watching 12 episodes of this, but man, the music is like chalk on a green board. It's painful and the voice acting, the plot is nothing but average. EVEN THE PLOT IS NOTHING. But I'm willing to keep watching a shit-teir isekai anime (deffo better than Conception; in terms of trash). Thankfully this show is pretty wholesome, no ecchi or gore. Even the monster violence, has no "violence". This is like a shounen anime where the age group is lower than 13 lol

I put a lot of hope in this one after reading the manga but the anime is such a let down. I don't read the novel so I don't know which is more base on it but the manga is so much fun and a lot of laugh. In the anime all the fun part and laugh were gone, this just became plain loli adventure and I don't know the main point of it at all. Even the story is so different and not making any sense. (I need to read the novel soon.) I hope they just follow the manga, why rewrite the story if itnot making it better?

JUST ALL SPOILERS BUT YOU SHOULD KNOW nah you gotta skip on this sht the ideas was amateurish or just literal bad even the story: Killing slime using insecticide spray or whatever it is, Getting loli's like getting an ssr character in a gacha game, Feeding your loli's with crystals and they say its yummy or bad like it has a taste or think its a food,Dungeon floors looks like tunnel ass sht that have every wall lights each floor lol whats the point in that i mean not every but mostly has,

I was flabbergasted when they show literal Lawson convenient store inside the TUNNEL(dungeon),

Mc guy is dumb i understand he's got no money buying gears for better stats than looks but were already episode 11 HES GOT A VERY STABLE MONEY BASICALLY HE'S FILTHY RICH AND HE'S STILL WEARING THAT DIVING ASS SUIT LIKE ITS HIS SCHOOL UNIFORM,

Having a harem party later for convenient sake like its saying " we gotta add this idea cause its popular and common thing to do,

Ever since he got his harem party theres no signs or traces they got feelings for the mc dumb ass THEN one peculiar episode they bombshell us revealing the 3 girls has feelings for the dumb ass like its some sort of announcement sht and you know how they show it? by going "mc suddenly doing serious moves protecting the girls like a pro or being a spiderman reflexes and girls was like blushing staring at him like it say he's cool" scene so yah all of this happen in one episode

Now for the story i don't know if i explain this right but its just generic dense mc guy going to school with the bois then theres the main girl who is overly pretensions she's the mc's girlfriend (not literally but you know what i mean) while mc guy just being dense asf AS USUAL not knowing any sht then afterschool mc going to dungeon because he was inspired by his dad's words as a hero so he wants to become one too but dad is missing for forever then later episodes found out one of harem girls is sick and she's got same ambition as the mc,

VERDICT: DONT WATCH IT, ITS BAD ITS A JOKE even the isekai anime trashes is better than this sht, i might like it if the lolis become babes all the time like in the Ending song visual.

i'll be honest i never do much critics in anime because i lower my standards on what is good or bad anime and most of the time all i say s average or good cause i still see some good in trash animes BUT THIS!? this is bad on different level can't help but say it here sooo yah all i've been saying here is like ranting shts cause its like they created this anime by dumping all ideas into one and the result is bad but ngl gotta say the idea of "steak knife can dealt damage by using your imagination is OP asf"

The only good thing about this anime is the ending. I think the only way to enjoy this is to turn off your brain. Horrible and soulless animation, the backgrounds are repetitive but at least they are acceptable, boring and poorly done fights. The main character (Kaito) is so dumb and annoying that it ruins the experience besides having, along with the other characters, a completely flat personality. There is zero character development. In all the battles it's always the lolis doing something as if they were pokemons while Kaito just watches. The high school subplot and “romance” with Haruka is pointless and leads nowhere.

I'm at episode 7, and I don't think anything's gonna happen to save this aggressively mediocre show. A terrible school-themed romcom mixed with a subpar sci-fi dungeon crawler. Add two dollar-store lolis, and there you go. One-note, unremarkable characters, low production value (mediocre animations and designs), bad music, and lack of originality or creativity - not even for the main characters. The romcom bits are extremely boring, so much so that I almost found myself skipping whole parts, while the dungeon exploration part falls short of passable. Honestly, it'd have been a 6.5 if they just plucked out the contemporary school setting and went for aclassical fantasy, or at the very least greatly reduced the non-dungeon-related scenes and characters. Also, they should've dared more by making the two lolis summonable outside of the dungeon, but nope, they decided the two parts of the story were already too cool on their own to mix up, I guess. Hell, make them live with the MC, add in some more cheap fanservice (you know your fanbase, Japan), or give meaning to those SOL scenes by having the two servants appear at the MC school or whatever! Make it interesting, for heaven's sake!

But no. The show is dead-set on boring you out of it, and if you manage to get past the frankly horrible episode 7, I will guess your favorite topping is mayonnaise and you sing along with white girls' music. Just don't waste your time.

A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero - Does the inspiration to go dungeon exploring make for a "zero to hero" experience? Many a times, yes...but in this show, sadly not. Life's daily heroes and their antics giveth and maketh the dreamers of the young to have aspirations doing huge, notable things for themselves, being the aft influencers to be given inspiration and to do things for the better. That is a good thing, and for the eponymous novelist Kaitou, that's exactly his plan with penning such a story with Mob kara Hajimaru Tansaku Eiyūtan a.k.a A Nobody's Way Up to an Exploration Hero, toshowcase a decent fantasy merging both the literal human world with fantasy elements, where humans can access dungeons through a portal designated by its own building to give the fantasy experience right from the comfort outside of their own home.

However (and this is a BIG however), through the grapevine of the anime adapting the LN (and its WN counterpart), the constant argument of its manga adaptation being so different from the original source material is a valid argument in and of itself. I'd argue, rather, that the manga adaptation is basically superior when compared to the anime that considers heavy consequences as well as more nuance with the plot, which takes a lot of liberties since Kaitou is rather finicky with what he wants the different mediums to be, if it was never to be a close 1-to-1 adaptation. That's just my 2 cents on the matter.

But back to the anime itself. Being inspired by an adult who traverses the dungeon with enthusiasm, only to then go missing one day, this is the plot of MC Kaito Takagi to go to the dungeon to help find said missing adult, which is someone whom he actually holds close to his heart because he is just simply known as Captain Katsuragi, the father of his childhood friend Haruka Katsuragi, whom was dealt a blow when the news came out during her growing-up years. Since then, Kaito has made it his calling to make a name for himself, but alas, being a low-level adventurer meant that low-level slimes were the only way that he would grind to even level up as a decent adventurer. That is until after the killings of 1,000 slimes, that he obtains a rare Summoning card containing a valiant warrior that he could choose to sell to obtain loads of cash or use it to help him conquer the deeper troughes of the dungeon. Being the money-conscious guy that he is, Kaito contemplates selling the rare card, but ultimately summons the warrior to aid his low-level weakling, revealing a capable Valkyrie.

Let's get the TL;DR for the show out of the way: having valiant warriors ranging from Valkyries to actual Demons being loli girls, one would think that Kaito is growing a loli harem just for the sake of his adventuring, even though both Sylphy and Luceria possess poignant powers enough to kill off deep-level monsters to cultivate experience. It's just fantasy wish-fulfillment for the sake of not having a story plot, or rather, a free-spirited one to chock, which matters take the most priority as Kaito and the other adventurers whom he would meet on the way, see fit. And despite having close guy friends around him who are just as concerned as his childhood friend, whom Haruka has developed an immunity to traverse the dungeon and also wanting to win Kaito's heart being the childhood friend trope, the latter is just that: a free-spirited person who does things on impulse and never second guesses his assumptions. Even with the forthcoming group of Airi Jinguji and her two friends Miku Moriyama and Hikari Tanabe, all 3 girls being in a party that Kaito joins in the gang to meet new friends and adventure together, love and romance are not things that is in the mind of Kaito, even as Haruka persists on interrogating him if he ever goes to the dungeons, only to have said boy try to deflect his answers as much as possible without hurting her in the process. I admire that intention, but also, this boy's brain is literally dense, as much as he is a Samaritan to the people around him. Boy's got his priorities right or wrong, it's up to the viewer to decide in many a context of the scenarios in this show.

Despite getting into anime production for just over a year now, studio Gekkou's production values have been mediocre at best, and this show continues the (un)fortunate streak of the studio just cutting corners at its animation. For reference, most of which are reused scenes (especially dungeon walls) since the work itself doesn't offer many varieties, and instead, relies on standard tropes and such to tell its rather garbage story. It is what it is, and you just can't unlook at it the first time you see it.

Not even Amatsuki's OP, May'n ED, nor the OST stacks up, which is NOT a shame, because frankly, they're quite terrible too, despite trying to be a whimsical kids' adventure theme, but grown-up.

If you're keen to try this show, be my guest, because at least for the 3-episode rule, this show is not remarkable, but not bad either. It's a cutesy anime for those who like it that way, but you can't hide the truth that it just frankly, sucks in all fronts.

Do a better wish-fulfilment of a work next time...

After watching the entire series I can only say that this anime is just North of Trash and a fair ways South of Middling. There is nothing particularly good about it other than maybe its opening and closing themes (which also have a couple of very obvious problems in them) and its content goes from sketchy to straight up unhinged in the last few episodes. Parents, don't let your children watch this regardless of what the rating says. There are no redeeming qualities here, only an unrealised harem, lolis, a shouta, and a hero complex so severe that it's practically a disease. There's also adude being forced kisses by a couple of 'probably legal due to mythological reasons' girls who 'only look' like they are between the ages of 9-13 years old.
