Just a cute mv about a girl and her piplup who likes to encourage her mv is well animated, props to the animator for doing such great work with the rotoscoping song is really well produced, has a lot of great vibes, great for getting pumped up Apparently I have to write more words in this review so here you go MAL Still not enough words so I guess ill just say that I'd love to learn the dance one day it looks really fun to do 10/10 because unlike some others, there is no point in analyzing a story that doesnt exist 💀

Writing this in the hopes that people might see it in the feed. This music video is pretty simple, but it hits all the right notes! Apparently the "Piplup Step" song and dance has been around for a little bit (maybe an ascended meme?) (See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQphidLiACE), but this little animated version has a lot going for it. It's about a girl in a baggy shirt living with her cherished Piplup, and it's not too interested in the dance portion. Instead, it fixates on the characters' relationship by showing them in a lot of naturalistic settings. Even when the dancing takes over the focus, it is becauseit is an expression of their affection for each other.

As of now, it's got 3 million views on YouTube, but only 801 MAL users have logged it. So it seems like it slipped beneath our English-speaking RADAR.
