Using his tail coat to jam Grell's chainsaw scythe, forcing Grell to fight Sebastian in hand-to-hand combat, where Sebastian is finally able to beat him. Grabbing Grell's death scythe, he removes his coat, preparing to finish him off when he is interrupted by William T. Spears, the administrator of the Grim Reapers. Spears takes the beaten Grell back to headquarters, officially ending Jack the Rippers reign of terror. The day after, Sebastian and Ciel attend Madame Red's funeral. In her coffin, Madame Red is dressed in a white gown per tradition, but Ciel appears carrying a red dress, telling her that white is not her color, red is, draping the gown over her corpse. Red rose petals then drift through the chapel, courtesy of a carriage outside. Once the funeral ended, they tend to Mary Kelly's tombstone. Undertaker calls Ciel kind for providing her with a grave, Ciel says he could have saved her or Angelina if he had made their lives his concern, but he does not regret his decisions now that Jack the Ripper is gone. Undertake mocks him for his sense of duty to the Queen, but tells him that he can still stop by his shop anytime. Sebastian also states that Ciel is either kind of weak, saying it was his hesitation to kill his relative, even though it was one who was trying to kill him, that prevented him from firing. Ciel deflects, though, proclaiming it was Sebastian's job to protect his life. Ciel then orders Sebastian to never betray or leave him, which the butler agrees to.
