After learning the whereabouts of Lilia and Aisha from Hitogami, Rudeus arrives to Latakia, the capital of the Kingdom of Shirone. Rudeus encounters Aisha, who has escaped from the soldiers in the city and rescues her and asks why she was being chased by the soldiers and where Lilia is.
