"Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!" definitely ended up being one of my favorite shows of this season (as it's been going so far). It's a silly show with short, fun episodes that are only about 11 minutes each. If you're already a huge fan of BSD, then this is definitely the show for you, but even if you aren't super into it, I think "Wan!" could be a good place to get more into the characters and their shenanigans. Of course, it's important to note that "Wan!" has such a different tone from the original series. It has a few serious moments here and there, butis mostly joking. If you go into the main series expecting the same thing... You will be very disappointed lol. (The main series is absolutely incredible, though! Just much more seinen).

Some shorts were better than others, I'll admit. There were some episodes where a short would just cut off in the middle of what I thought was the build-up. There's a possibility that this was for time's sake or even maybe because of translation (Japanese humor has shocked me before), but either way I wished they were a little longer. In the end, though, each episode has to fit in about 3 shorts, and they still manage to be super funny and sweet! My favorites are the shorts in Episode 7!

Overall, I'm really gonna miss "Wan!" and all the fun interactions and adventures it gave us. And the art style! Oh, how I'll miss the cute chibi art style!

Finally, we get a BSD thing have been waiting for months, this first episodes was funny, cute, memorable, wholesome, and overall amazing, thank you to the studio that made this happen(I do not really know what studio made this one), so in summary, thank you for giving people like me more BSD content If you're a fan of the original BSD, then this show is perfect. The comedy fits perfectly with that of the original show and, as of watching the first episode, the characters are the same as ever. Not to mention colourful and beautifully animated. If you have the time, try out this amazingshow and, despite lacking the serious moments of the original, it makes up fully with its comedy. Go!

These are little shorts based on the anime “Bungou Stray Dogs”.

Just reading the title, I guessed that this was related to dogs and the first shot was about it but after that, all the shorts were just the usual shorts.

The shorts were good and funny with the ED being the first ED of the first season if I’m not wrong sung by Atsushi. And it’s recommended to watch the ED since they put some short scene in between (not very important though) and the series is not related at all to the main series (aside from the characters).

Last year 'Animal Crossing' saved our souls during the first lockdown, this year it is 'Bungou Stray Dogs Wan' (I'm sorry for everyone else who's losing their minds). It's the perfect timing for the cutest of good boys (and girls, obv) to give us approximately 10 minutes of pure joy and blessing during these troubling, difficult, and mental times. This is the anime that will fix all your life problems (or the ones that the 'actual' anime has created in the first place). If I could I would adopt Dazai and Atsushi in a second (sorry, everyone else). The stories are light comedy and warm one'sice cold heart. May it be three gangs in kindergarten or watching the cherry blossoms fall, the chibi world of Bungou Stray Dogs is a utopia (to go full circle, I could say, it's like the Animal Crossing of anime; or is that too much?!), a short holiday in Hawaii, and a sigh once the ending song starts...

Needless to say, I don't want this anime to ever end.

If you like "Bungou Stray Dogs", you are going to LOVE "Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!" (especially if you simp for Akutagawa, I literally cry every time he appears, he is so cute I love him) This anime is perfect for you to watch when you have a bad day, "Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!" is filled with so much joy and wholesomeness that makes you forget your problems, the episodes have a duration of 10 minutes or a little bit more, so you can watch at least one episode even when you are busy so you can have a little rest from the stress that you arehaving when you are doing work.

I recommend this a lot if you have watched BSD before, even if "Bungou Stray Dogs Wan!" is a spin off I think is a "must watch" as a Bungou Stray Dogs fan!

A cute chibi animation based of the spin-off gag manga by Kanaineko. I am a huge fan of Bungo Stray Dogs so this review maybe quite biased;) But I believe in order to really enjoy BSD Wan! is to have watched all seasons of the original main series. There are 12 episodes in total each being around 11 minutes each. Firstly the character designs are so adorable. We get to see people that normally don’t meet each other have interactions. We also get a better understanding of each individual’s personality’s, this makes the certain characters who normally don’t have much screen time stand out. The emotions, andchaotic energy each character prevails is delivered so well by the Japanese voice actors.

There are many wholesome and memorable moments, as well a special episodes such as Chuuya and Dazai as 14 year olds, a preschool segment and the Dark era which are all very nostalgic. I would say Episodes 1-9 were very funny, and would like to give a little warning that the last 3 episodes are quite emotional, however it does wrap up nicely in the end.

The sound track is also very comedic, and the ending outro is a nice little nod back to the original S1 ending track but sang by Atsushi’s voice actor in a more cheerful way. The outro animation also changes from time to time depending on what happens in that episode so please don’t skip it!

As a fan, I looked forward to each week for the new episode to air, and honestly it provided great humour and joy. Its sweet and short so I’ll probably rewatch it here and then. I was never quite ready for a S4 of BSD so this was a perfect way to provide content for those who have been longtime fans of the series. I hope we will get to see more of Wan! in the future:)

Finally !! our most beloved hilarious show of this season has ended today , so i wanted to write some of my thought into this review , hope you enjoy it !! Bungou Stray Dogs Wan is like side show aside from the main show (story) , if you already liked the BSD series even before "Wan" you should already liked it , but if you havent watched any BSD series then this is also a good show for you to start and if you get hooked then welcome to BSD fan club xD. alright into more depth of this show. BSD Wan is your typical short, funny, hilariousshow that get adapted ( glad they adapt this ) , for the entire show its mostly about funny moment, hilarious interaction between character , cute / adorable character design, and their jokes is also really" good , im enjoying it more than ever. nothing too woah , just your usual funny show.

i mean sure theres some serious moment but its mostly about jokes and funny moment you wont regret watching this show.

just wanted to say thankyou for the hardwork from BSD Wan Staff production , you guys really really did a good job 9/10 for you guys ^^

It's just a bunch of really silly and fun episodes focusing completely on the comedic side of Bungo Stray Dogs. It doesn't go for anything more than comedy, which makes for a really pleasant experience. I found myself laughing at many of the jokes and pretty much always was smiling while watching it. I also appreciated that, while I'm mostly familiar with just the first season, I wasn't lost while watching even though there were a couple characters I didn't recognize. It's completely non-essential to the story, but is still well worth a watch to any fan of the franchise, it's just a really enjoyableshow. Even if it doesn't do anything spectacular I still had a blast watching it.

honestly, this anime is the only thing that has brought me joy during all of covid. It's very cutesy and some of the jokes are genuinely funny, though the silliness might not be for everyone. There are some moments where the interactions between characters get very serious out of nowhere and I feel that's fitting for the BSD universe. The rewatch value is also pretty high, especially if you're in need of some of that Serotonin. I do recommend watching this after finishing all 3 seasons of the anime, otherwise some jokes might not land. Also -- please watch the DUB, you won't regret it.

Expect a fun light and airy vibe watch. makes it pretty pleasantly fun to watch and I like that the art style is quite fitting for the story of the series. It's exactly what you think it'd be. But at the same time it's 50/50 chance hit or miss because it could go 2 ways: - If you're expecting a hard core driven plot; for more of that Bungou Stray Dogs Oomf! It has almost no plot. You will get bored. -If you like Komi, you might want to give it a go if you are a Bungou Stray Dog big fan ♡ (*ฅ́˘ฅ̀*) .

Honestly? My only criticism is that I wish the episodes were longer! But overall? I really like these episodes. Watched it originally in sun, now working my way to dub and amazing job on all voice actors involved. If you need a cute anime to take your mind off of being depressed (still can’t get over the anime To Your Eternity even though it’s been months) this is the thing for you! Not really connected to the main storyline other than the characters, it’s just funny scenarios. Honestly, it reminds me of the AOT shorts involving them being in middle school (or wasit high school? I haven’t watched it in a while).

Either way, very enjoyable.
