Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a wholesome story filled with life lessons about the disadvantages of being an OP anime protagonist: Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time. Idk wtf the whole philosopher’s time thingy means, but screw it, anime tiddies. So far, this anime has completely blown me away. And you know what else gets blown? Peter Grill’s thick elephant trunk. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Peter Grill is a man. A man who bears the strongest seed in the whole frickin WORLD! So naturally, a bunch of demihuman girls want to bang him and have his children. Yep, pretty standard stuff. But wait! PeterGrill is engaged to an oblivious air-headed maiden! That’s right, this is a story about a man who constantly has to avoid temptation and remain faithful- wait, he has sex with the monster girls? From the end of the first episode? Oh, well, uh, scratch the whole narrative I guess! But who needs a stupid story when you have…

CUTE. ANIME. GIRLS.

That’s right, this anime completely understands what we the viewers want. Who cares about a story? Who cares about character development? Who cares about the awful animation? As long as there are nicely drawn anime girls flaunting their assets on screen, it’s all good! And besides, Peter Grill is a much more realistic protagonist than most like him because he acts human and gives in to his desires. Yeah, it’s disgusting, but at least he acknowledges the cute girls around him unlike a plethora of generic MCs in anime. Plus, dat name tho. I mean you can’t get any better than PETER GRILL.

This anime is what other bland and ugly failed ecchi want to be, but better because it only has half the run time so I don’t have to sit through an insufferable 24 minutes of “plot” each episode. Thank you Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time for gracing the anime medium with your much needed presence!

Works like "Peter Grill" have always intrigued me as it's never sure what its ultimate goal is. On the one hand, it's meant for people who have a strong sexual desire to fuck anyone remotely sexy. On the other hand, it wants to satisfy all NTR fanatics. In the midst of all this, there is also rape which tied to the other two. There is no clear indication of what kind of people this is precisely targeting, but nevertheless, if you are a weird person, this may be what you are looking for. "Peter Grill" is about Peter becoming the strongest warrior in the countryand as such marrying the king's daughter. Apparently, the king doesn't want Peter to marry her because he himself wants to plant his seed inside her. Yes, the king is a psycho and wants to fuck his daughter real good. If that wasn't enough, many characters, oddly all sexy, have been sent by their clan/tribe to fuck Peter because they want a strong successor among their kind, and all of this just to indirectly humiliate an innocent girl.

Now, the thing is, Peter Grill is nonsense. Not only does it shamelessly promote NTR as a good thing, but it also wants to trick us into believing that all men are like Peter, these greedy assholes who just like to fuck. The truth is, if you genuinely love someone you wouldn't betray them in any way. It ain't happening. However here it does. Why is that a thing? I'll tell you why - Peter loving Luvelia is a lie. Peter not being able to refuse any of the girls from having sex is also a lie and that he likes to do it. What pisses me off is the way the anime uses the "rape" shtick to make Peter look innocent when he is clearly strong enough to get out of any of the situations easily and unharmed. You even see him at the end of each episode spout some random quote or tell us, the audience that he still "loves" Luvelia even though he just NTR'd her.

The rest of the characters are a big mess. Nobody gets even slippery growth that would make sense and apart from Luvelia everyone is unlikable. If you are a male you are the Klein of Sword Art Online and if you are a female you are somehow interested in Peter and most likely he has fucked you already. None besides Peter, the evil mastermind he is, gets victorious. Am I supposed to root for him? Sure, he's the protagonist and all but you have to give me something to work with. Having to see a fuckboi mess with the feelings of an innocent girl is something I cannot ignore and I hope he gets the School Days ending.

All in all, Peter Grill is abysmal. Whoever thought of this must have been cucked at some point and in need to take revenge this anime came to life. Perhaps this is not even its final form and until then I may have to train very hard to get to its level. Jā.

Just skip it and listen to the ED instead.

The show is very obviously a fanservice anime but tries to give it with a real plot. Only the plot is garbage. It has some ecchi, but doesn't dare to go as far as, for example, "Ishuzoku reviewers". This just makes it worse cause it only really shows the progression of the bad plot. The characters are very very shallow, all having the same backstory. I need your strong boy juice for the future of my clan. The main character tries to hold back but is too pathetic to actually do so. The art and sound are very basic and have nothing special about them. All in all,you shouldn't watch it for the ecchi, neither should you watch it for the plot.

Maybe if you're in the mood for some trash, you could watch it but even then there are better options.

I tried this anime just to see what it was really about even after reading the synopsis. This series was recommended for me to try by a friend so decided what the heck i'll see what it is like. I surely regret doing that. This is one of if not the worst anime's I have ever seen and I only watched 4 episodes. There is no story its just the same crap every single episode. He loves a girl he is engaged to, some skank's show up and talk him into having intercourse with them end of episode. Next episode starts its the same thing allover again, him going "I love my fiance" then 1 minute later proceeds to be hooking up with some skank. It literally is one of if not the worst anime I have ever seen.

I am guessing this entire series is just some cheap ploy to make a quick buck off horny idiots that pay to watch this garbage or even read it. I am sure the manga is just as bad as the anime is and it is appalling that is was an accepted idea when other good manga's get canceled or even good anime's get canceled while this garbage is ongoing.

I truly hope it never gets a season 2 and that the manga ends very soon cause this is just ridiculous.

100% would not recommend this at all.

When i saw Peter Grill on MAL, i thought, its gonna be another ecchi typical show, but let me tell you, its not. Peter Grill is the best anime this year, from the decade, maybe even the best ever. You have PETER GRILL, the best main character, the most chad, the harem master, the God. The show makes you feel a roller coaster of emotions, its amazing how sad you can feel for Peter Grill and Luvelia, how evil the other people who want Peter's Ding Dong and how incredible of a character Peter Grill is. It has better comedy than comedy anime, it has the best girl Luvelia, the best Villain that is Luvelias father and a lot of other incredibly useless side characters.

Anime is a 10/10, watch Hunter x Hunter (2011).

EDIT: OMG! It makes so much sense now! The director of this anime does mainly hentai. This is their first 'ecchi' series. But then again, there's not much you can do when the source material is trash. But it does clear up a few things. What does an anime look like when the voice actors, and staff don't really want to work on an anime but need something to fill a slot, and are paid to do it anyways? Answer: Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan. I never thought I would ever say this about an anime, but it is utterly, utterly, utterly unredeemable. I can'tsay one nice thing about it. The fan service isn't even worth it. The vibe reminds me of Ishuzoku Reviewers, but the cheap, knock-off, poor quality, low effort, budget version. I feel sorry for the staff who had to work on this and whose name is forever tarnished by this steaming heap of trash.

Do not watch it. You'll only come out of it feeling disappointed and sad, like the abandoned half-eaten burrito someone left on the train.

I unironically think Peter Grill is one of the best anime of the year. Despite the hate it's getting in reviews and ratings, this anime is for a certain type of person. It's for the most degenerate of degens. The Otaku escapism bait is strong with this one and if you're looking for some substantive oregairu pseudo deep type crap, this ain't for you. Peter grill accomplishes what it sets out to do. To get you horny, pick up the manga and watch on a weekly basis. That's it. This is not meant to be a thought provoking or intellectually stimulating series and for thelife of me I don't know why anyone watching this would expect that.

It's a 13 minute short series that appeals to male fantasies. Full stop. Is it worth the watch? Well, you know yourself. Are you a fan of NTR, otaku escapism, harems and Ecchi? If so, yes. If not, no. I am a fan of the aforementioned topics therefore giving Peter Grill a 9 was an easy task. It's funny, it's ridiculous, it's stupid, there's hot girls who are dying to have sex with the MC and it's got great character designs. It's honestly close to the perfect anime. The only issue I really have with it is the fact it's so short. Often times we're just getting into the heat of the moment, no pun intended, when the show cuts to the ED.

With all the other sequels announced for Summer 2020 anime, I'm hopeful this will get one as well especially with how it ended. Otherwise, there's always the manga. Peter Grill gets 9 plan b pills out of 10 from me.

This anime is, without a doubt, a masterpiece. No words can describe how beautiful this show is. Not only is the main character in a fight for his life and love, he's also very strong and charming. The characters are unique in their own way and the humor is on point. Each episode is a new godsend and I feel like I'm in paradise whenever I watch one whether it's uncensored or not. This anime is so good God himself only allowed each episode to have around 12 minutes otherwise the universe would collapse in itself and we would all die without a trace due to howoutworldly this anime is.

I recommend this anime to anyone. Kids? Check. Teens? Check. Elderly? Check.

Heck, call your whole family to watch the anime you'll have a great time.

I didn't finished it yet bu it felt like i must write a rewiev of this to warn the people who plans to start this anime about somethings. First of all this anime's story is horse shit as i see from like 4 episodes i really don't know whats the season final of it but i'm not excited too... I liked the art part of it i mean drawings ok? I really enjoyed the sound of it... Characters are nonsense and i really don't think anything about it because i don't know anything about them right now... I'm not fully enjoyed but i enjoyed it....Lastly if your age is not over than 18 don't start it it got +18 parts a lot. Sometimes i felt like i was watching hentai lol. Overall i give a 3 too this anime could be better.

(This review might contain some spoilers) So, Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan is an anime that exists. Why? I don’t know. Clearly, this is aimed towards Men of Culture, of which I am not part of. I can probably identify myself as a “normie”, as if you check my profile, I rate a lot of different anime highly, even if a lot of other people don’t like it, making my average score around 8. But if you check the score I gave this anime, you’d know that this show has some problems for me. After all, this is the first time I gave literally anythinga 2, anime or not. So this review is for all the normies out there who are trying to think if they should give this anime a chance. Here’s some advice: don’t.

But before we begin with this hellhole, I want to assure you that not everything in this anime is bad. After all, the only thing in this anime that is remotely good is the character design. I think we can all agree that pretty much every character here is hot, or at the very least, we can agree that their bodies are pretty Sexy™. I cannot deny that all the girls (except the elf girl) are pretty gifted and cute, and even though I loathe Peter (the main dude), I can confirm that he has them muscles. I do have one problem with the designs, but I'll mention that later.

So, let us begin with why I hate this show. First, let’s begin with the story… oh wait! There isn’t one. It’s literally about the strongest guy (human) in the world trying to resist the charms of women (other races) who want his spunk junk to conceive babies to make their race stronger. Typical hentai plot, right? Oh wait! There’s more! The dude literally has a fiance, who he l o v e s so much that he wants to marry her. Amazing! Among the NTR he’s committing, this guy’s being abused, molested, and in technical circumstances, raped. The story and humour revolve around this guy trying to avoid bonking the women trying to gain his vanilla ice cream, but he always ends up failing. So unless you’re into this kind of stuff, I’d advise you to stay away.

Next, let’s talk about the characters. Almost EVERY character here is actual shit, and I think the main guy, Peter Grill might as well be the worst. This guy (read: hypocrite) keeps on saying that he loves Luvelia, his fiance, but ends up always chugging the train with the other women almost every day. I think if his love is actually real, he’d at least try to come clean in the first place. But nope, he cares more about his pride and appearance, and tries whatever it takes to hide his secrets that he “absolutely despise”. I actually don’t understand. What’s he afraid of? He’s literally the strongest man on the planet, so I don’t understand why couldn’t he just fight them off. But for plot’s sake he can’t, I guess. He can just break up with his fiance, but since the entire plot revolves around NTR, the anime won’t work without it, which says a lot about it. And in the final episode this dude (read: hypocrite) says to another character, and I quote: “You’re depriving yourself of other possibilities because you’re way too focused on chasing after this one woman,” which was basically the last straw for me because he said that so that he can get another person to remove a woman from his “””harem””” when that’s basically what Peter is doing as well. So yeah, I’ve never hated a fictional character in my entire life.

I really dislike the four women, Lisa, Mimi, Vegan, and Piglette, who are trying to get a bit of Peter’s milkshake. But the problem is, the reason why they’re doing so isn’t that bad. They’re doing it for the sake of their people, to make the future generations of their races stronger (maybe except for Piglette’s case, but it’s kinda similar). While this might be a good thing, what they do is not. I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like blackmailing someone who has a fiance he l o v e s after seducing and forcing him into filling holes isn’t a good thing. I think it’s pretty bad. I’ve read the manga, and I know it gets worse.

The side characters don’t help with how this show is, but make it worse. One side character found out of Peter’s secret and he decides to keep it a secret because “he’s a bro”??? Another side character, Luvelia’s father, is actually pretty much a manipulative brainwasher who is the reason why Luvelia is the way she was in the anime, and might as well be the reason why all of this happened in the first place. So yeah, almost every character is shit.

But if you’d noticed, I said that almost every character in this anime is shit. *Almost*. There are actually three (3) characters here that I can consider to be actually good, and two (2) of them are side characters that only appeared in the last three episodes of the anime. One of them is Luvelia, Peter’s fiance, and I kinda feel bad for her. The man she loves keeps doing the Monster Mash behind her back, and in a lot of cases, he does it in front of her (without her noticing). What’s worse is that she doesn’t even know what the act of Connection is, and if she sees them doing it, I don't even think she’ll realize what is wrong. At this point, I just want Peter to break up with her just so that he doesn’t make it even worse for Luvelia.

Going back to the character design, there’s one thing that bothers me. It’s not entirely bad, but it’s kinda like a pet peeve for me when I watch this and it comes up. Why do guys not have nipples? Okay, I know it’s weird, but I honestly couldn’t stop thinking about it. I only watched the censored version, and I kept on wondering why the female nipples were censored, while the male nipples were basically nonexistent. Is this a new type of censoring? Pecs ain’t pecs without the nips.

Other than that, I can say that the art and sound are alright. They don’t stand out in any way, and they fit just right for this anime. The ED actually sounds pretty good, and it might as well be my favorite thing in this anime. On the other hand, while the OP is also good, it perfectly encapsulates the hellhole this anime is. You might as well just watch the OP and you’ve pretty much watched the whole anime. Another thing to note is that each episode is 12 minutes long, half of a normal episode, which makes this anime SO much more tolerable. I wouldn’t be able to stand trying to watch 24 minutes of this every week.

So in the end, why did I decide to watch this show? I have no idea. I guess I wanted to warn people like me who don’t like this kind of shit. I can understand why men of culture would like this, but it’s just not for me, and if you’re reading this and are not a man of culture, then please don’t waste your time watching this. It’s not worth it.

(Also, if you may have noticed, I never once explicitly stated two certain things in this review. This is because the anime did the same thing, *at least from what I remember* which was so stupid that I actually found pretty funny, so I thought I might as well put it here so my review so you can understand how stupid it felt whenever it come up in the anime.)

This is the best anime I have ever seen in my life. Read this review to understand why I like him too much, and think that other people should start enjoying Peter Grill as well as I do, and understand the true history and performance of this work of art. Story 8/10: The story of this anime is somewhat common and generic, starting with Peter Grill, a guy that everyone admired, a true champion, thus drawing the attention of the maidens that existed in the region. This story may seem very simple and strange, but it is very well applied. All the romance that applies aroundPeter Grill is something well built and smooth, with an ecchi inserted perfectly, giving high nuances and highlights to the female body, which are done in a few good works in this way, such as in Monogatari Series. Due to some recycled scenes and jokes, it was not a complete 10, but the story of this anime is really good.

Art 9/10: Ah, the art ... What about art? It is simply sensational. All the close-ups on the characters at Peter Grill, the use of the camera and the lights, is incredible, and very well used. Peter Grill comes to the anime market with sensational and innovative art, it is not something you see every day. In addition to the fact that the colors are very well used, giving a highlight to the characters, especially the girls, with the color of their skins being pink, showing perfectly the contour and the feminine beauty, with a soft and superb touch of taking advantage of these colors in the spicy scenes.

Characters 10/10: The characters are very well built, like never before. All the anime girls are introduced perfectly and clearly, without causing a surprise to the audience. The reason for the feelings and anguish of the characters is very evident, and they are very effective for the development of the narrative of the show. For this and other reasons, I believe that Peter Grill has a character development far superior to many other shows, being almost perfect, and a true 10.

Overall 10/10: I think that after all that has been told here, there is no longer any doubt that Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan, even with its flaws, can be considered a fantastic work of art, produced only for the understanding of those who they really manage to see this side of prominence, beauty, novels and well-developed narratives, and, as if that were not enough, many underlying concepts within the work, which only cultured people like me, can understand.

That's why I consider Peter Grill to Kenja no Jikan to be one of the most perfect animes I've ever been able to experience. Thanks to everyone who read this far, and good night.

A FUN FICTION STORY. Emphasis on fiction. It is a short anime meant to be fun for people who like tons ecchi. Be aware that the genre "ecchi" means it will have sexual content. Pretty good, Peter is of the few protagonist that actually manages to get the girls. The art is pretty good, even better than the manga. It also has an uncensored version which is nice. The anime is 13min so it is not meant to be a long complicated story, it is just for fun. The voice acting is great also. Quite sad that some can't separate reality from fiction, butit was expected. Without trying not to apply our own ideologies on stories of fiction, the anime is simply another ecchi anime. There were many likes this before, and will be forever. Hope it gets a second season, although I doubt it because the manga is similar to a 4koma, meaning it doesn't have much dialogue already.

Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time. What is this, Harry Potter and taglines? In a nutshell, this is Interspecies Reviewers, only more down to just complacent interspecies sex and and less about common sense. No need to talk it out, just make do and all will be fine as molasses, I'm sure! Unfortunately, being a manga reader of this trash manga (and YES I did read this past where the anime had long reached its stopping point) is no consolation, and I'd have to lament that keeping this show at half-length hurts the series as a whole. But of course, there IS a LEGIT reason why thisis so, because the sex "make love" part is the centrifugal plot to this show (if you can call it that).

In the season of many simps, Peter Grill is but one of them added into the simp category as well. The strongest warrior alive who is said even to take down the strongest enemies of insane magnitude, he's a town saviour, and his life-long ambition is to prove his worthiness to the woman that he has been in love with: Luvellia Sanctos, who coincidentally is the township's king and ALSO coincidentally being overprotective just in case of an unforeseen sex move that would create future heirs to ascend to the therone.

Alas, Peter Grill isn't alone. His defining feature is that he's a sucker for women who all want his juices to create strong breeds of warriors, from alpacas to elves, and even to ogres. I laugh in the safe distance thinking that he'll pull off each brutal temptation of big breasted species, BUT NOPE. He just let them have their way with him, and the regrets could not have come sooner.

Forget about characterization. Forget about the plot. Only do one thing: simp and fap the hell outta this show. That's how you enjoy this show.

The one good thing: Tom-H@ck's theme song composition of Yui Ninomiya's OP, of which it's my guilty favourite this season to listen to.

Otherwise, stay the stork away from this show if you don't need mindless fapping to the many shenanigans of the setting and foreplay.

This anime is receiving a lot of hate (low reviews) that I felt the need to defend it. I have been watching anime for years and years & grown tired of harems. The cliche male protagonist with the most incredibly dense mind that I cannot fathom (often at an age where you would expect one to understand sexual desires) is usually given women thrown at them left and right with little to no clothing, somehow have the strength to reject every opportunity (e.g. Ichika from Infinite Stratos, Rito from To Love Ru series and so on). Peter Grill is thrown with various creatures, and the mild nudity is a straight up lie with how much boobage you get from this and offered an uncensored version to watch. After watching the first episode, it was DIFFERENT from what I had expected of harems. Peter actually succumbs to his desires and puts himself in incredibly awkward situations while trying upkeep his image.

Story is definitely funny and worthwhile watch. I am looking forward to how the story unfolds. My rating may drop/increase depending on how it finishes, but definitely give this a try or even read the light novel. Definitely gave me a good laugh.

There is nothing special to say about Peter grill and the post nut clarity, I mean, Peter Grill and the Philosopher's Time. Peter is the second most powerful guy so every race girl (not literally) is after his sperm to obtain the best hypothetical warrior. Story 2/10: Seduced by other race girls, initially Peter tries to resist but later ends up gets laid, realizing it is wrong the next day. This is the same story for half a dozen of episodes. you may get a small smile in your 1st and 2nd episode may be but it becomes cliche over long run. Art: 7/10, nothing spectacular Soound :4/10

Character: 4/10

Enjoyment : 2/10

Overall : 3/10

Still, re-considering here anything I have missed to write, but nothing is there to write, because it offers nothing.

I introduce you to a show where everything starts at the end of the story. A topic which may have never been touched on before. "What happens when an average romance fantasy with a generic become the strongest man plot show ends". Well since everything starts at the end of the story the contents of the story are pretty much zero. There's not really anything to offer anymore. Only one thing which is a compilation of trashy ecchi fanservice. One thing I should tell about the series though is that you're pretty much better off watching hentai than overall just watching the series. It's pretty much hentaisince; it has zero to no plot, lots of sex, a lucky MC, and a Harem made out of different species of demihumans.

So disregarding story what about art? The animation looks pretty stiff and awkward but to the point that it's still edible to the audience. Character designs though are incredible. One thing about watching ecchi/R18 anime is that the characters pretty much looks the same just has a bit difference in artstyle. This show in particular has a really good unique and diverse character design. The girls are easily distinguishable which just makes them easy to remember.

So do I recommend the show?

No, just watch hentai

but yes if you want to warm up your horniness before watching real shit. The anime is fairly short and just made up of about 11mins per episode, and goes far less if you like skipping openings.

As an anime overall it's just pretty trashy

This review can be summed up by “Redo of Healer, but replace revenge porn with NTR, or remove the revenge from the rape and make it gender-swapped.” This is 12 half episodes of Peter Grill being seduced by girls of other races that are not the girl he is engaged to, and trying to avoid having sex with them (and failing). Not only is it all about NTR, but there is no plot outside of it, and all the characters are defined by who they want to have sex with (except his fiance, who is also unaware of sex). On top of that, the animationis absolute trash. The only reason this is a 1.2 and not a 1 is that at least it isn’t trying to be serious like Redo of Healer and is trying to be funny instead. Overall this is probably the most facepalms per second I have had when watching an anime, and I am not excited for season 2.

There are only three words I need to say for you to get an idea as to what this kind of show this is. “SIMPING: Fantasy Edition.” Yes, it is indeed one of those shows, the kind of show you need to lower your brain functionality to enjoy. While that is true and it can be enjoyable if you think that way, it doesn’t change the fact that this show is REALLY bad. Sit back, relax and SIMP your brain away you horny motherf***er ;) as I present to you the anime review for Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time. Let’s begin shall we? Story:2/10

After a long and aregous tournament that we don’t get to see, Peter Grill stands tall as the winner and declared the strongest warrior throughout the lands. With him winning the tournament and having a lovely and innocent girlfriend in the form of Luvelia, life seems pretty good for him. It doesn’t last long though. With the world seeing him as the strongest warrior, women from other neighbouring countries confront Peter with one intention in mind, to give birth to the strongest warrior by having his seed.

The story is basic and rather predictable as well, as it basically boils down to how far Peter will fall down the rabbit hole as more girls arrive into the scene and the sex only intensifies. Yeah, if you thought that Peter can keep his chastity for Luvelia, you are dead wrong. But that’s also a problem because each episode feels like it ends in the same way with Peter regretting everything he has done with an exaggerated expression on his face and it just gets rather repetitive with nothing really changing besides the amount of women in Peter’s life and his mental state. Good thing it has a 12 minute runtime because after the first few episodes, it would have gotten really boring, really fast as the shock value would have dissipated much quicker. Without much of a solid hook either, the story of Peter Grill falls flat because it really is that basic. It’s quick, slapstick comedy which for the first half of the show was funny in a so bad it’s good kind of way but it just kind of falls to the wayside as it is this show’s only trumpcard to keep people engaged with the story.

Characters: 2/10

If you thought Kazuya from Rent-A-Girlfriend was a bad protagonist, you have not seen Peter Grill my friend. The guy is just so unrelatable that I feel no sympathy for him and his plight whatsoever because he is just one big SIMP and a massive hypocrite. He keeps saying that he can’t have sex with these women because he made a promise to Luvelia and his love is only for him, only to have sex with them anyway over and over again. You can’t relate because the guy did this to himself and keeps digging that hole deeper to the point where it is no longer funny and is just taking the p**s. If he had a spine and not give in to his urges, he might have been a more tolerable protagonist. Sure, he feels guilty about it, but he ain’t doing anything to better himself. It changed from laughing at him to getting frustrated with him.

Now sure, the girls don’t exactly help because they practically force themselves onto him with their bodies. But they are just sexy bodies on a stick as their personalities are one note and only there to fill the spectrum of harem girls. They have little to no depth, we only know the basics about them by the end and they all have the same mindset so we don’t get some interesting conflicts except for fighting over Peter’s d**k. Besides their one note personalities, there only other noticeable difference is that they are from different species. There is also Luvelia as well but she is really just an innocent, pretty face to act as Peter’s light to give him courage. That’s it really, their backstory was explained in like a 10 second flashback and she also has little personality. The only other notable thing is that she has an overprotective father who I guess acts as the main villain. Narratively yes but those girls sure do put up some competition, but he is more comical than anything. In this context it works but not very well. He ain’t neither funny nor intimidating which the show is trying to frame in the eyes of Peter so he just comes across as rather forgettable antagonist.

Animation: 3.5/10

It is as generic as it gets which is one way to say the animation and art style is very meh. The little action in this fantasy series is lazily done with the usual shaky screen and still images. Even then, the animation is just not impressive. The show does rely on facial expressions to make it seem like there is plenty of movement going on but they kind of just use the same few over and over again. First few times are funny but then it just starts to feel numb. Same kind of goes for the fan service. There is plenty of nudity in this series with girls coming in different shapes and sizes. That depends though if you can see it because the censored version covers the private areas with bright lights so you can’t see it. Not that it matters in the lower region because they don’t have anything down there. Might explain why they can’t get pregnant after having sex so many times because they don’t have anything down there. So what are they doing instead? Anal maybe? This is something that should be explored further. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. They do serve their purpose to drive the sexiness factor up but I feel like it’s done in a rather basic way and they don’t really ham up the sexiness factor to make things really interesting if you know what I mean.

Sound: 4/10

Besides a couple of tracks, the ost is pretty forgettable and is pretty standard for a fantasy series. I kind of just blends into the scene rather than really adding anything to make it stand out to make the scenes much better. Well besides one. The one I’m on about plays at the end of episode one and in subsequent episodes where it is played after the aftermath of Peter’s sexy time with these girls. It does make that scene as well as subsequent scenes funnier because it plays like there is a sense of relief and pure happiness when you know damn well that is not the case. It’s pretty much the only times where the ost enhances the scene.

The opening I really couldn’t care less about. I skipped it after about two episodes. Wasn’t really a fan of the song and the visuals, while were telling us of things to come, didn’t captivate me. The ending though, "Yoridokoro" by Hilcrhyme, was better due to the song being much better and more interesting to listen to as well as the visuals of just seeing our resident fantasy girls sleeping naked after a long and heated night. In the context of this show, it works.

Conclusion:

Looking back at this series, I think that this series would have probably been better as a hentai. The way this show is presented with some hentai logic like how these girls are not getting pregnant after having sex so many times would make sense. Because it feels like it’s restricting itself to be an echhi series rather than a hentai series. It might only slightly change my opinion on this show. The show kind of went from “So bad it’s funny” to “Why am I still watching this?” The story became more frustrating as Peter dug himself more and more into the hole he created and the characters couldn’t remedy it. The show is a lot of meh to really bad and while that worked to be enjoyable for the first few episodes, it just got tedious. Peter is probably the worst protagonist this season as he has no redeeming qualities, the female cast are boobs on sticks and the fan service was just okay; which is something you don’t want to hear from your ecchi series. Do I recommend it? No, unless you can stand the flaws of this series longer than I could to laugh at how bad this series is. But this ain’t guilty pleasure material for me, this is a series that it only funny for the first few episodes but then gets tiresome.

My Personal enjoyment: 4/10

Overall score: 3.1/10 Recommendation: Don’t Bother

Watching Peter Grill just gave me the urge to watch a hentai where the sex is shown. There are plenty of solid ecchi that tease sexual acts ad nauseum, but when you have it actually happen off camera in every episode it gives blue balls a new meaning. If the imperative of Peter Grill is fanservice, which it is, then this show leaves a lot to be desired. Other than fap material, the only reason to watch this is if you find it particularly funny - the premise of a guy who can’t keep his dick inside of his pants (for all except his fiance) wasamusing, but after the 4th or 5th iteration of this same joke the humor wore thin and after the 7th or 8th same punchline it became a point of annoyance. Peter Grill also cuts out content from the manga, likely due to the 12 minute episode format, to the detriment of the parodical comedy. The funniest section of the manga to date is when Peter enters a goblin territory which turns into a hilarious Goblin Slayer parody….and that didn’t make it to the anime. To its credit, Peter Grill does ADD nudity that wasn’t present in the manga, so in at least that way it adds some value that the source material didn’t have. But it still needed to show actual intimacy of any sort in order to be a true success as an erotica. Ecchi can work through incessant teasing, but not through complete omissions of sexual acts that you know are happening but are not shown.

It also bears mentioning that the animation is poor. Like, low budget hentai terrible that skips frames, has minimal motion, tons of panning shots and loops the same action over and over again. This is another reason that this show gives the impulse to watch a hentai, as it's a similar experience except one actually delivers.

I’m sure other reviews will criticize Peter Grill for not having enough “plot” or being “morally despicable” or whatever nonsense that has nothing to do with the inherent value of the ecchi genre. None of that matters to me as I don’t pretend to watch ecchi focused anime for reasons other than titillation. The problem with Peter Grill lies in its poor execution of the fanservice first and foremost, and not taking full advantage of its medium to enhance the source material.

Don't get me wrong, the show is actually horrible. But it's one of those "good kind of trash" horrible. If you were asking what the "Philosopher's time" is: It's post-nut clarity. And that sums up the whole show, a dude is forced to bang various chicks from different races - he's not completely turned off, becaus they are all hot. But it's stil very rapey and if you had the genders reversed noone would laugh about it. While I can't rate this any higher than 3, it's stil funny to watch. The Pros: - It's Ecchi (If you're not into that, skip the show - it's50% H-Scenes)

- It has funny moments

- the Art Quality is good

- The episodes are only 10 Minutes so you don'T waste much time

- It stil makes sense at 1,5 speed so you waste even less time

The Cons:

- It has hentai levels of plot, but not hentai level scenes

- the Story is actually pathetic - it's just an excuse to get the characters to fk Peter

It's stil more entertaining than your average youtube video and if you liked stuff like Highschool DxD you can watch this.
