“Please just give us anything. We have been waiting for years!” - I wrote somewhere stupidly I DIDN’T THINK THEY WOULD LISTEN AND GIVE US THESE BADLY ANIMATED SHORT OVAS It’s like a steak with no seasoning. A cake with no sugar. wHAT IS THIS? I don’t know who are the people that decided which manga chapters to adapt, but whoever they were, they picked all the wrong ones. Okay .. I have to admit, I enjoyed the Ten Count & Ameiro Paradox ones a little. But oh god, where are the body movements? And the soundtrack … So bland. I could write an essay about how disappointed and dissatisfiedI am right now... But I won’t.

I will just cry a little before going to bed tonight and hope that someday in the future we will get a decent BL anime series.

And I do understand that these ovas are a treat for the manga readers, but they could have done better.

I was really looking forward to this ova, honestly if you don't already know these couple this ova will be incredibly confusing since it's not really giving you anything... It was highly disappointing but since I knew all the couple it was cute to watch it in action for like 3mins... per couple >> Hopefully someone will make a decent bl ;-; I think I found it disappointing because I was really looking forward to a bl anime since it's been awhile, but maybe I misread something along the way cause this is definitely not it. I have nothing more to say :(

There was no story to follow. It felt like an introduction scene out of a otome game where they give you a preview of how the guys would treat your character. I know 6 couples and 2 minutes of their lives with no relevant information. I liked the art style, but not more than mediocre. It wasn't over-detailed, but it had many details that were important. The sound was dreadful and boring. It wouldn't have been my choice for this OVA. I didn't know all the couples and that made most of them interesting, but also confusing. What I want to say is, I would'veliked more episodes on the different couples and more story about them because it looks interesting, but how they are made now is just confusing.

I halfway enjoyed it, because I got curious about the Mangas, but that's all the enjoyment I could take from this OVA.

Overall, I would say no more than a 5/10, maybe even less if you disect it further.

People on here want to write an essay but don't wanna waste their time writing about this trash so I will because I am very disappointed. I have been waiting for this BL OVA for years, even through each delay that it had (there were 3 to my knowledge) I patiently waited, hoping that they would give us something decent because they had an extra 3-4 years to work on it. Buuuuuut no, my wishes were not met at all and I've been left utterly dissatisfied. It's the first ''big project'' BL in a while and I just feel like the community got cheated on. The Story( 3/10 ) was hard to follow for every single episode, they barely gave us anything to work on. Luckily I read the manga of every one of these series in this show, but without prior knowledge, any new watcher would be extremely confused and most likely pushed away from the manga that they present. It was so badly put together and it just made me annoyed that they couldn't add on a few more minutes to build the stories up a little more.

The Animation ( 5/10 ) oh my god, where do I start, Honestly I've never been more disappointed, the first episode featuring Ogeretsu Tanaka's work legitimately just let me down, one of my favourite manga's just got horribly animated, sure, there were... some okay panels, but most of them were awful. You would expect extra time to give you a better result but no it didn't. Not only was episode one terribly animated, but every, single, episode, was just so Mediocre with the art. There were some panels that were pretty, but most looked like someone spent 5 minutes on them.

The Sound ( 7/10 ) honestly the only enjoyable thing was recognising some voice actors and hearing them play some favourite characters. There were some sound effects that were eh but overall so much better when compared to, just everything. I enjoyed the voice actors and the music from time to time, and they're honestly why I gave this anime higher than a 2.

The Characters ( 5/10 ) honestly I love most of the characters in this OVA, simply because of the manga, so I have a little bias, but throwing that all out of the window, they were really not worked on in this OVA at all, they were missing so much character going into it, they were not built up and I was very dissatisfied. The reason why I give it a 5/10 is that in episode 1 and 4 it gives u some insight into the characters which was great, could have been better executed but better than nothing. and I liked the playfulness of the characters in episode 4, but, in the other episodes, that's where the score lacks, got barely any character development, most of them seemed like creeps which don't represent the manga's all the best and I just felt gross watching (especially episode 2).

My Enjoyment was ( 4/10 ) I couldn't watch and enjoy myself because I spent most of my time staring at the screen in disgust at the animation and the scenes they were showing, they could have shown us way better scenes but no they just go with the nipple kitty scene in episode 2 which honestly if that's in the manga I'm glad I forgot it but watching that my god I couldn't, it just made the whole experience so ugh I can't even express how uncomfortable I was.

Overall was barely ( 5/10 ) (only a 5 due to the VA's and my prior knowledge of all the mangas) I am glad I finally could watch this, but saddened by how it represents all the original mangaka's amazing works and making them into just a hot pile of mess. The only good thing was the VA's, nothing more nothing less, honestly, if you want to try and cleanse your eyes from the shit that you just watched, then just read the manga if you haven't already, and if you're thinking about watching, don't, it's not worth the little time you will spend on it, just read the manga and support the mangaka's that way instead because the original mangas are so much better than this garbage I just experienced.

Bad...just plain bad. So sad considering how good the manga is for these episodes. They could have shown much more of the story with each of these. 10 Count, for example, is a really good manga that has a lot of depth in it. The short episode that they showed really did not capture what happens for those two characters. Just overall disappointed with this, especially for how long I have been waiting for this. Each episode is only about 3 minutes long, so it's hard to really understand what these 6 manga's are about in that amount of time. My honest opinion, just read the manga, don'twaste your time (even if it's brief) on watching these OVA episodes.

I mean watafak... What's with the 2nd and 3d episodes. And what did they do to my poor Shirotani and Kurose. I honestly expected more from "10 count". Also i don't know if the quality from the site i watched the anime from was bad or if the charachters are made wide in general?! I cannot anymore, the disappointment and sorrow i felt after this is immeasurable! AND NOW THE PEOPLE FROM THIS WEBSITE ARE TELLING ME THAT THIS IS NOT GOOD OF A REVIEW?!?!? "6 Lovers"? More like "6 Layers of 4-min PowerPoint BL Anime" So, I (and many others, maybe) have been waiting for these OVAs for... quite a while. It has been delayed for 3-4 years now, I think... (I don't remember anymore) and FINALLY... it came. And hooo boi, I was a little disappointed. There wasn't much story in each OVA, so I wasn't hooked that much and to be honest, I didn't care much a lot about the characters in this shorts either. Honestly, if each episode was more than 4 minutes long (let's say...10-15 min) and they give characters a bit more time to tellus who they are and what their relationship is, maybe I could have cared a little more, alas... that didn't happened tho and so, I was left bored and soft. Now, the animation *clapping hands together* HO BOI! What. A. BEAUTY. But for real, I was shocked. When saw the animation on the first OVA, I was thinking "Please, say SIKE", because... It looks cheat, gurl. Like OMG. I have this theory that, initially this OVA series was gonna be a decently animated, with good stories and characters. But something happened in the office. Maybe animators, writers or directors weren't satisfied with what they've made, so they had to delay it. But it got delayed more, more for god knows what reason and at this point, the people working on this were like "Fuck it! Let's just make each episode 4 minutes and animate this in PowerPoint, cuz at this point, we were delaying this and kept people waiting for 3-4 years, they will propably eat that shit up anyway".

Overall, don't watch this. If anything, go read the original source materials. They are probably better. Would really like to know what happened during thos delays.

I am writing this review as a raw watcher without any knowledge of the manga side of this anime. I saw it and wanted to give it a try since the episodes are short and I needed to watch something fast. I am also not very keen on the Yaoi and Shounen-ai, but I though - why not give it a try? That was a big mistake. STORY: This anime is a mix of some yaoi and shounen-ai manga, mashed up and poorly animated to satisfy some readers even more, but I don`t think that was the case XD. Every episode was different and had new charactersand stoy. As someone who didn`t read any of these mangas and is also not really into yaoi and shounen-ai, this was a dreadful and confusing experience. Some scenes were quite cute, but some were dead ass creepy and disgusting like that cat scene, like wtf...

ART: Animation was almost non existant, but the art style was quite solid and nice.

SOUND: Nothing to say here, absolutelly basic voice acting and background music.

CHARACTERS: Characters looked like cute anime boys, nothing really special, but sadly none of them was to my liking, in both personalities and looks.

ENJOYMENT AND OVERALL: I had none. Absolutelly disgusting. Do I recommend you watch it? NO! Especially if you dont like yaoi and weird shit. But if you do, I recommend you just read manga, people seem to like it more by the looks of other reviews.

I don't know what I expected going into this, but it wasn't what I saw. These little shorts are meaningless and don't have enough time given to them to actually be interesting. The art is also pretty lacking, and I expected more from a more recent BL. A few of them are kind of cute, but ultimately only worth watching if you don't care what the manga they're based on is about. However, if you like bite-sized BL that is cutesy and fluff, then you may enjoy this. Personally, I'd recommend ignoring this series and just watching the OVA for Seitokaichou Ni Chuukoku or basically anyother BL that's got a bit of substance.
