Only for ecchi lovers as its basically a hentai! Wouldn't be surprised if found this on some hentai site. The female lead is kinda shy whereas the male lead seems like a playboy as he forces himself on her whenever he feels like it. There is not much of a story as most of it is lewd scenes..... The sound and art is really good whereas there is not much of a character development. The episodes are really short like 3-4 minutes. Well if you love anime like High School DXD then i guess you'll love it!! Btw, the female lead is pretty cute.. :p

*No Spoiler Concise Review* TL;DR: University aged cross-dresser hunts down confused high school aged yuri lover and proceeds to sexually assault her everywhere he pleases defying rules of rape, morality and common sense. [Story: 1/10 , Characters: 2/10, Art: 4/10, Sound: 5/10, Enjoyment: 2/10] Is this anime a conundrum or a cryptogram? If you think anime titles can't spoil the story any further, well you have been proven wrong. The creator, Hanamaluo, defies all logic by naming the anime Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita or The Man in Wolf's Clothing. By doing so, he cleverly displays the underlying context of the anime. Though the anime isadvertised as a romantic ecchi anime in reality it's a hentai anime about a male university crossdresser sexually assaulting a high school lesbian chick over and over again in the name of love. Talk about a cryptogram.

The story starts off with the MC, Shizuka, a shy high school girl visiting a mixer to meet men despite not liking men. She steps out and is greeted by a university girl (cross-dresser), Ryou, who gets her drunk, takes her back to his room and has his way with her. However, next morning the girl is okay with it and as the show goes on, they have more encounters, each more bizarre than the previous. The guy confesses his feelings to her (not love just like) and the girl remains confused throughout but allows the guy to just have his way with her. No consequences whatsoever. What a conundrum.

Since this is an anime short, let's just look at the positives and negatives of this anime. The MC, Shizuka is completely a baseless character. Just because she is shy doesn't mean she has to have zero moral sense, lack any personality and gives in to everything in the name of orgasm. The crossdresser, Ryou, is a child molester who in the name of love, goes around molesting and sexaully assaulting the MC in the store, in the bathroom, in the Ferris wheel, heck even in the train because what better way to show someone you are a boyfriend candidate than making them orgasm in public. The story is horrible since it feels like a horny teenager wrote their voyeuristic sexual fantasy of public sex. Seriously, whoever said this show has mild nudity and slightly ecchi, clearly lied because every episode has nudity and sex scenes. The moaning sounds are just over the top unrealistic with how high pitch it is and the quality of animation slowly degrades as the anime goes on. It's almost as if the studio realizes how big of a lawsuit the network will give them after they find out they aired hentai on TV under the false pretense of ecchi. The show doesn't have an OP song and the ED song is just meh.

Overall, this ecchi (hentai) anime short is not really worth watching because everything is just pixelated. If you want to waste an hour watching hentai then just go watch hentai. Don't waste your time watching this hybrid of ecchi and hentai. Maybe they are trying to open a new genre and take the HBO route but to do that you have got to improve the story, the characters, the animation and even their background score to establish the new hybrid genre. Also, If you are not okay with hentai and non-consensual sex, then this anime is not for you. The MAL description is spot on: It's an anime about a cross-dressing guy that wants to seduce a (shorter than average) female college student that doesn't really like men. It can be described as a 'half-hentai' show, as it has a fair amount of regular story/plot while mixing in lewd scenes and the interesting quirks of hentai at the same time. Half of the story focuses on sexual interactions (as you can probably tell from the cover), so if you don't like that kind of thing, this show probably isn't for you. The art and sound is good (although some animation might not look as smooth asa fully-funded TV series), and there's a fair amount of story (it has a plot that has progression). The main negative points are that the episodes are pretty short (since it's a web-series) and that it's split into two versions: standard and R-18.

The standard version runs for 3min45sec while the R-18 version runs for 4min45sec.

The standard version is basically just the R-18 version with the lewd scenes cut out. The lewd scenes rarely have much dialogue, so you aren't missing that much story if you watch the standard version.

If you expect this show to be a half-hentai with a cross-dressing male and regular female, this anime is pretty solid. It might be worse in story compared to something like Clannad or something, but it's like comparing apples and something that isn't apples.

In summary:

If you don't expect anything outside of the MAL description, it's a good anime.

Also, make sure you get the version that you want (standard/R-18).

This anime is an enigma. Regardless of whether you're a hentai fan or an ecchi lover (or both), odds are you're going to come out of Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita with some rather mixed feelings. If you're not interested in either of the two though, you should probably stay away. As the synopsis states, this is basically a short anime about a crossdressing guy (Ryou) who ends up seducing a shy girl (Shizuka) at a college mixer, leading to the start of a rather strange relationship. The guy's reasons from crossdressing are eventually explained, but beyond that there isn't much in the way ofstory here other than an abundance of intimate and sexual encounters between the two of them. And those erotic moments make up the main focus of the series.

Here's the weird thing though: this anime is basically a hybrid between an ecchi anime and a hentai. I'm not sure exactly how this happened because it was evidentially aired on TV, but the content in it is undeniably 18+ in nature. At first you could argue it was just an abnormally lewd ecchi show, but when it started revealing close-up shots of Shizuka's pixelated vagina and showing detailed footage of Ryou fingering her and making her cum... there was just no room for argument anymore. In the final episode they even have explicit sex where both of their pixelated genitals are shown. It's undeniable at this point: this is pornography.

Now I don't have a problem with hentai nor ecchi so I'd be fine with this either way (plus it's more unique like this), but this hybrid design brings with it a different set of issues instead. In short, the main problem with Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita is that you're basically forced to see it as a hentai, but in that case it's the most softcore and toned-down hentai you'll ever see. Not only do most of the "sex scenes" consist of basically nothing but fondling, fingering and close-up shots, but these episodes are only 4 minutes and 30 seconds each (discounting ED time), and only maybe half of that at best covers the actual sexual content. I don't know about you, but having merely around 2 minutes' worth of what was already some very tame lewds doesn't really result in the best fap material to me. And really what merit does a hentai have if I can't get off to it? I mean it's not like the story is anything to speak of here exactly.

On the other hand if I try to force myself to think of this as an exceptionally lewd ecchi anime (like let's say Kiss x Sis), then it still fails because while the erotic content is unusually intense by ecchi standards, the show gives me absolutely no reason to care about the characters or anything else going on. This kind of absolute focus on explicit sexual content without any real attempt at characterization is a trait only found in hentai, so it's quite difficult looking at this anime as anything else. In other words regardless of whether you consider Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita to be smut or pornography, it doesn't do a particularly good job either way.

That said I still kind of enjoyed watching it solely because of how weird it was. I've watched a lot of ecchi and hentai over the years, but I've never seen an anime quite like this before. I thought it was genuinely interesting seeing just where the hell the show would end up going next, which in combination with its short runtime made it a relatively easy watch despite everything. I honestly had no idea how I was supposed to rate it though but I eventually decided on a 5/10 for at least being a unique and interesting experience even though it ultimately failed at accomplishing whatever purpose it may have originally had. Think of it as an experimental anime more than anything else; though one which I somehow doubt we'll see a whole lot of similar works to in the future. Then again we've gotten one supposedly similar anime announced for the upcoming season already, so what do I know.

****some spoilers ahead**** Schrödonger's trap: It's not gay until you can prove a dick exists down there, without proof, a dick can exist and not exist down there at the same time. Skirt is an interesting show to say the least, for a while when it aired it had the hentai tag on it and as of when i wrote this review, it has been removed. For a hentai, it's also barely a hentai as it's super short and actually has a romance going for it. (yes i am aware some hentai do have romance in them but no one watches those hentai)Although calling said relationship a romancecan be seen as being generous with it as it also isn't much off a romance either.

So the basic of Skirt can be divided into romance and hentai section for the entire show. Every few episodes which can be divided into arcs not unlike a romance anime, where the female lead and male? lead go on dates and all of that romance anime stuff. Every end of the arc, or even in the middle of the arc sometimes has the hentai portion, where the male? lead does sex stuff with the female lead. Of course this format seems simple enough but hey with all romance anime comes the jealously and drama as seen in the 2nd last episode where the male? gets jealous and finger bangs the female out of jealously. My problem with this is that there was no warning nor enough time to prepare for this and said problem is basically solved at the end of the show in the next episode anyways, where they decide to have full blown sex.

Overall tho, i wouldn't mind admitting that i enjoyed skirt and that it's in my top 10 summer anime, and also placed quite high in my hentai list.

2 words, Softcore P*rn. Episodes are no longer than 5-6 minutes, there arent many of them either. IF you enjoy Ecchi, but want it to take a step further, do not want fillers that expand the epiosde over 20 minutes, go ahead watch it. Take some tissues with you too, if you are that kind of person. since there are so few reviews ill throw in my opinion this show is a hentai toned down for a public audience. our two main characters is a young lesbian or at least the vibe she gives off is a girl figuring that out and a crossdresser. our lesbian thinks the crossdresser is ridiculously attractive and they end up in the cross-dresser's bedroom together. the crossdresser basically rapes her and that's every 5 min episode. the art is good. has to be if you're trying to get people off so quickly. the sound is like every hentais sex sound if you dont know it you probably shouldntbe watching this.

the cross-dressers seductive attitude and actions toward the lesbian i guess is entertaining as we get reactions that you expect from our lesbian (to believe there are 2 shows like this this season)

Then turns out that the woman is actually a crossdressing man! I didn't expect that this show is actually a hentai. Short, 5-minute hentai every week. I don't know if it just me but I hate that kind of character. The technical site is mediocre. There are some moments when it becomes poorwith bad animation or terrible models.

Oh, so it's about older Pico. The main character looks like him, but something has changed! Now Pico wants girls. Man, I really enjoyed this show (somehow). Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita is a 3-5 minute long short with added sex scenes in one version of it. The story revolves around a cross-dressing guy by the name of Ryou and a girl by the name of Shizuka that is slightly uncomfortable being around men. While the story in Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita is slightly better than some similar anime that have preceded it, the story is still a terrible one. The art, animation and soundtrack are mediocre at best and the characters are uninteresting. I got little to no enjoyment watching this anime and I'll probably make more of aneffort to try and avoid shows similar to this in the future.

Slightly long rant/review incoming? (There's an actual review after the +++) As with any other anime, this anime is no exception. It's supposed to be a figment of imagination, there to entertain us and keep us occupied, tickle our specific/non-specific fancies. This is in no way a representation of real life, and obviously in real life, some sort of consent is needed before making sexual advances. To me (seeing as this is my review, I will allow myself to be slightly biased) this anime is really cute, and it speaks to me as a viewer. As a shy girl, who used to not be able to take initiative,and literally had to have guys drag me by my hand for anything to happen, I don't see anything wrong with what Ryou does, as he clearly has the situation under control, and reads her signals. And he wasn't wrong with anything he's done, seeing as she sticks around, and finds herself liking what he does. Sure, he goes a bit too fast, but so far (spoiler maybe?) they haven't had sex. Heavy petting could probably be called sex, but for the sake of simplification, it's not in this context.

I'm not going to go against the rape accusations, cause to some people, that would probably be rape. But for the main character who clearly got over it quickly, it wasn't. She doesn't seem to feel violated, and if she does, it seems to turn her on.

Now for an actual review.

The animation is overall modern and clean. Unfortunately the movements during the steamy scenes are way to rough around the edges, but that might just be me who prefers to view my hentai in more than 5 fps, with bodyparts that actually seem movable.

Cause yes, this anime is a hentai.

But! Where I think it differs from other hentais, is that it actually has a story-line. Not to discredit other hentais, but I prefer to look at the same female face for more than five minutes per episode. The story is light and cute, and we are thrown small plot hints from time to time, promising something a bit deeper than just two people in love, being steamy all the time.

The anime is hard to immerse yourself into, as the episodes vary from just 3-5 minutes. As of this review, I've watched 9 episodes, which is approximately 36 minutes. Almost two episodes with constant gaps in between. I think this might be why my rating is lower than the plot would allow.

The reason for my rating:

The anime is not easily immersable, due to the lenght of the episodes. The plot is kinda thin, although I guess not more is required for a light-hearted anime.

There's... a LOT of sex. Maybe too much. I'm not sure.

I wanna give Ryou's voiceactor credit though, you can hear clearly when he changes from a feminine to a more masculine voice. <3

But all in all, seeing as the episodes are so short, what do you have to lose from watching it? :D

I watched the uncensored version, which I doubt all of you could find and I enjoyed the anime and I am a girl. I relate to the main character, Shizuka Kominami. Also, I am a big fan of the kind of love Ryou Kirishima has, the I-fell-in-love-so-hard-I-can't-hold-myself-back trope. That usually is a yaoi thing, not a het thing, but, still a fan. You can try as you might to make Ryou look like a horrible player who forced Shizuka against her will, but, she totally went for it. She was more than capable of refusing Ryou and she didn't. It wasn't stockholm syndrome. She likedit. We shy introvert girls aren't always complete pure angels. We have needs. Get over it. So, yes, I enjoyed this show, Ryou's personality, everything about Shizuka, and the ending theme.... though there are a few things I would still change for sure. Mostly small details.

I weirdly enjoyed Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita for what it was. It was short and 97% smut, but I feel like everything revolved around pleasing the girl more than the guy, which is sort of refreshing if you're a female viewer. Just don't expect miracles, Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita is still mostly dubcon smut after all, but I've seen much worse, so I suppose this one is cute, in comparison. As long as you don't set your hopes too high for this one, I think you'll enjoy Skirt no Naka wa Kedamono Deshita for what it is.

(saw info under "additional information" section on MAL). Anyhow, how is this not hentai, the genitals were shown, yes censored, but they are censored in every hentai out there. (rarely any gets uncensored). Yes indeed here were no direct sex scenes with both shown genitals. But the girl of this series were played in various manners, no way this isn't hentai. Really confusing... it even tops a lot of actual Hentai.

As for music/ost. Was there any? Cannot remember at all. I'll give it "5" as it probably was quite boring/bad if I didn't even notice it.

Simply disgusting. There is absolutely nothing redeemable about this. Deceiving someone by pretending to be someone else, especially when it involves manipulating their feelings or sexuality, is one of the lowest and most revolting things a story can do. It feels not only lazy and cheap, but also malicious—as if deliberately toying with the audience's tolerance for abuse. Furthermore, this place is full of rape scenes and situations that normalize and even romanticize sexual violence, which is not only disturbing but completely unforgivable. Instead of building tension or drama in a meaningful way, the narrative relies solely on exploitation, and that is simply disgusting. There are indeed peoplewho enjoy watching lesbians being "fixed" by men. Yes, I know there are many people like that, and to you, my friend, I only have one thing to say: you are disgusting.
