I went into this series with high hopes after reading the synopsis and a few reviews, but I have been exceedingly disappointed from the very beginning. If this had been released in the 90's, it would have been a mediocre series, but being released in 2016 means it just feels old and dated. Not only is the animation quality sub-par, and the sound quality and voice acting done poorly, but this show ticks every box on the 90's anime tropes list. Every time I started to get into the story, the immersion was broken by some stupid prat fall withcartoon sound effects or a completely unnecessary and dull transformation scene. If I had to watch one more outtake with a giant bead of sweat on someone's head, I was going to throw my monitor across the room.

The characters are all fairly non-descript with only the occasional different hair color or outfit piece to tell them apart and every one of them is bland and unremarkable. I kept having to rewind and replay scenes just to figure out who was doing what since the only person who you can pick out of the crowd easily is the main character's rival.

Lastly, and probably the biggest flaw to me, is the horrible story telling and the terrible pacing of the series. Almost the entire first episode is the main character telling you about the last 6 months of his life. Why should anyone have to sit through an entire episode of exposition in a series? The whole point of animated shows is that they can show you things that can't be reproduced in real life, so why waste my time having someone tell me a story when you can just show me? And the bad pacing just continues throughout. I kept having trouble figuring out how much time has progressed between and even during episodes as the story just seems to randomly jump forward. I still can't believe that the main character went from a worthless nobody to the number one in the school between episodes. Why in the hell would you skip the story of his come-uppance?

Overall, this is a pass. While the show is not horrible in any one area, it is lacking in every area. I can't find any redeeming qualities in this series and I wish I hadn't spent several hours looking for them. Don't make the same mistake of wasting as much time on this as I did.

Mod Edit: This review may contain spoilers. ---- This show starts out with really no intro to the main character and never tries to give an explanation to a few questions you might have at the start of the show; however, this does not detract from the experience. This is a very enjoyable short magic anime with a strong and determined hero who wants to change the lives of him and those around him. He is a underdog with immense potential and culmination of rare abilities and for the most part he hides his true power from all around him. Watch this show and you'll notregret it. To enjoy the show more and not constantly wait for things to be explained that never really are, I will give you a backdrop to the story that can't really count as a spoiler.

World:

The main character appearently 3 months prior to the show woke up to a world vastly different from the one he knew. People around him were the same, but the world changed from ours with science to a world with magic being the fundamental core of society. With this change, Magical has become the great divide in social class and there is great demand for magic in work and also jobs related to combating monsters which now exist and attack humans.

Magic:

Magic is broken into elements and some are much more rare than others, with the rare ones often giving way to its own hierarchy since they tend to be more powerful and bolster the effectiveness of any group of mages that can recruit a rare type mage. Elemental powers are determined the day you enter a magic high school. What the series never explains is that while Magic ability is rare and types can be rare, what is most rare is possibility of have a second element. They not only do not mention that this exists prior or after the main character becomes one, they don't even talk about it when you see someone else use more than one type later in the series.

Series Start:

The main character enters the stage as he is trying to pass magic school entrance exams, but since he had only 3 months to learn what he needed to have learned about his new magic world, he fails desperately. His dad does everything he can to help his son get into the school. Another minor fact they never explain is when before the start of the show he exactly and for what reason he ran away with a girl of a prominent magical family (it doesn't seem to follow the timeline of him just waking up 3 months prior to exams).

Time:

This series while 12 episodes is short due to its shorter than normal time length. Despite that, the show actually covers around 3 years time and is virtually the opposite of Slice of Life since he seems to spend all his time getting stronger and has little interaction with classmates or any random events.

Other explanations (Minor Spoilers):

Strongest members of Privileged established families do not waste time going high school and have speed up training to make those that go to school to learn magic a secondary class of mage. Due to translations and the lack of explanation, the power displayed by individuals might not be clear. Most of the show talks about levels of magic without clarifying; I will try to do this now. Staying away from the issue that equal levels of magic are not equal across elements;I will mention levels the show equates to characters. While one teacher said he could not accomplish what a student at level 2 did, another teacher displayed level 2 ability to her class. Hunters seem to be around level 2 with leaders at level 3. While it seems a big deal when they mention level 3, you find out later that this is still the Basic Tier of Magic. 1 time later in the series a "Pro" or "Master" shows up and it is talked about how his 2 elements of "Advanced Tier" Magic did what an entire squad of Basic Tier Hunters couldn't do.

Thanks for reading:

This show is a hidden gem cropping out from the Chinese market and I can't urge strongly enough that it is a great little series to pass the time with.

For me this is an odd show to review. It'd be a lie to say I didn't enjoy it but if I actually think about reviewing it it's hard to come up with something positive. I'll start with the thing I disliked the most, namely production value. The art style is pretty mediocre imo. It looks far closer to being a decade old rather than something not even a year old. Same goes for the animation, it 's not at all fluid and really feels..budget. The electric guitar track used as an attempt to hype up a fight is sometimes placed at odd times andfeels clunky. And in terms of voice acting there's a lot of awkward laughing among various characters along with other seemingly forced heroism or sorrow that is not only out of place but slightly creepy as a result. So overall I have quite a low opinion in terms of the production.

Does the story or character development impress me instead then? Basically, no. There hasn't been much of a story so far; we have the protagonist being op with potential like no one else before in the history of dota/mankind and it half seems to stem naturally from birth and half from a character we see once in a flashback and is never mentioned again. The causes of his strength are never really touched on. But if you imagine a 'good guy' coming from unfortunate backgrounds and having unexplained overwhelming strength fighting against stereotypical rich kid obnoxious villains you more or less have an accurate idea of what the main plot line is for the 12 episodes. Naturally other stuff happens in the meantime for him to get stronger and realise his potential, including somehow duping 2 apparently elite mages into thinking he was a different person by swapping the order of his name and wearing a mask covering his mouth. Besides the main overarching plot of 'good guy who is pitiable because of his background fighting obnoxious dickhead rich villain' each episode is basically just another fight for him to become stronger which I guess is why the plot-centric questions are never answered.

So essentially all I've done so far is bash everything about the show. Yet I originally said I enjoyed it. It's clearly not a show to think deeply about, the plot and character depth simply aren't existent enough to warrant that. But neither was there good production value to allow it to get away with plain fun action. And neither was it something I enjoyed because I cringed/laughed at everything I didn't like about it. The more I try and review it the more I end up thinking something was poor. So I think it was probably just something fun to binge on for a few hours whilst not really thinking about it too much. By ignoring any of the important questions to the plot and letting myself get swept along in the pace of 'introduce setting, introduce characters, fight here, fight here, fight here, and finale fight here' I think it's enjoyable in one go.

Incidentally, if you do plan on watching it I'd recommend waiting a bit as max resolutions appear to be a mix of 480/720/1080 and subs were done by fans for speed, using abbreviations like 'n' and 'u' and having a few typos/errors. Not bashing on them for that at all, it's thanks to them using their free time everyone can watch it, but it's fair to let people know beforehand I think.

I liked this anime for two reasons. The first is the MC he is not stupid like other MC by how he dosent just go and show his magic. He is calm and has a proper goal in mind not some stupid thing like wealth. He shows very deep emotions by how he plays everything off as if its for him although he is actually doing it for a deeper purpose the second reason is overall type of anime it is. It has tints of romance and drama but dosent over emphazize those but instead puts it like a topping on a desert. It sticks to agood structure having the unreal feeling of anime and also a realistic touch makeing the anime a good one to watch

This show is ranked as a 7.71 as of me writing this review. It's real value is something closer to 2-3. This is one of the worst anime I've ever seen. Go ahead and watch it, it'll give you a good understanding of what terrible writing looks like. This show is so bad and it's score is so high that I can only assume that the Chinese publishers used bots to artificially inflate it's score on popular websites such as this. Seriously, there is not a single admirable, or even meh aspect to this show. Everything is out right dog shit. The story is so simple that itactually hurts. There is literally only like one event.

The art was cringe worthy. Everyone stood around like statues and anything like emotion or inner thoughts were either cartoonishly depicted or not at all.

The characters. Sorry, Character. There is only one character in this show. Its the main character everyone else just has to fill their "he's so awesome" line quotas each episode.

The sound, i don't really know how to rate this. I have no idea what to look for in sound i'll be honest. I'm giving it a 1 because im assuming its as trash tier as every other aspect of it.

As far as enjoyment goes, yeah. I watched it in 2x speed in like 2 hours flat... It felt more like a chore than something i'd do for fun. I'd probably forget it in like 2 weeks flat, but that might actually be a blessing in this case.

So this isn't so much a review as it is an explanation for why I recommend the show even though I only gave it 6/10. To start off, its worth mentioning that this is an adaptation of the manhua Quanzhi Fashi (same name). I have read quite a lot of manga and manhwa, but I have always found manhua to be very dense and difficult to get into. While that is annoying in a manhua because it implies heavy reading and long paragraphs, its a good thing imo in a donghua (Chinese anime) or any anime, for that matter. It is true that the animationis not exactly great, or even that good, and its also true that some (not all) of the voice acting is a bit strange. This isn't exactly a unique concept, or a brilliant story, and the characters are not exactly shocking or intriguing. But, this is a perfect example of what I call "op mc secret vigilante beating bullies shitty romance porn". I enjoyed it. It's fun watching mc get strong way faster than his peers, flexing on the haters, and being a baddass.

So even if it's objectively (imo) bad, I still recommend it unless you're an anime elitist who can't touch some fuckin grass.

The author : "Where did I put this scenario again ?" Usually, an anime rarely goes from 'barely watchable' to absolutely 'appalling' as the episodes piled up. It will either stay 'barely watchable', and maybe, sometimes a bit better and probably ... a bit worse, most of the times. Because usually, along the way, there is a progress ... of sort. Amazingly enough, Quanzhi Fashi is proving me wrong. It gets so much worse in the last season (4th, as for now) that I barely recognize the thing. The main cause ? Probably the total absence of a long-term plan, or a scenario that would have make the mostof the

increasingly stupid events going on and on as if the author himself had totally forgotten what he had planned to

do in the first place. There are so much nonsenses, contradictions, and flaws (Note : I will let you find these for

yourself to avoid spoilers, plus it's quite funny to research) in the latest season that you will start wondering if the

authors weren't inventing something new every few episodes as they go.

And it's not a matter of lost translation (while this could be still partly true) because a lot of these nonsenses are just

plainly there for everyone to see, not to hear.

Maybe it's just an unexpected rush to end some things, but then it's a pity, since for anyone that loves a good hero growth story, this 'barely watchable' anime was still acceptable. If you're tolerant enough.

So... don't put too much expectations in this :

This is not the best chinese anime : not even close. But I would still recommand it for the (very) patient

and (very) tolerant people who wants to learn more from chinese creations. But keep this in mind :

This is honestly only getting from worse to even worse.

For now, we can only hope the authors will find the missing pieces of this absolute mess ...

~Short Review~ I want to give it a good rating.. i really do.. considering that this fall into one of the genre that I love the most.. But I can only give it a solid 5/10.. I feel bad if i give below that or more. Its bland. No excitement. Less enjoyable. Ive got epic frowning watching the entire season 1. Too bad tho. I really enjoy the other Chinese product: Quanzhi Gaoshou aka The King's Avatar but this one is a total let down. The story is fine. But this one reminds me of the other anime: SeikenTsukai No World Break.. which the other one is far more better than this one. Ive got no comment on the art. Its average. Feels a bit 90's watching a 2016 anime..The sound is average too. The sync sometimes a bit off. The character just decent. I want to give it a really lower rating considering how bad the development of each character. Feels like they just focus on shining the MC only.

Overall.. its a so so anime.. I watched this cuz I already finish with others anime on the same genre. Im expecting more from this but sadly.. This one just made it into my top 10 dumb anime.

Please.. any good studio remake this....

Chinese Harry Potter season 1 is an anime that lacks the basic fundamentals of a good anime, yet manages to somehow pull through the 12 episodes, without turning into a chore to watch. First off, it's very clear that the Chinese studio that was working on this adaptation did not put a lot of effort into the making of this anime. I mean, the guy on the cover art doesn't even look anything like the main protagonist. The art is lazy, often looks like a PowerPoint presentation, the sound quality is tragic, often switching volume which makes it hard to understand what is going on inan action sequence. And let's not forget the comedic parts, where the studio sampled sound effects from Scooby Doo and Tom & Jerry: it was so unfunny, that the icing on the cake would've been if they added the 'audience laughing' track from sitcoms, just to give me a cue on when it's time for me to roll my eyes.

Another point that should be addressed is the voice acting. Obviuosly, it was done in Chinese, which sounds just plain wrong when you first hear it. I had a very hard time watching the 1st episode because the unusual Chinese language made me lose my focus, which made me think - even though we don't understand Japanese either, it's easier to watch because we're used to it that much, that it feels as if we understand it, when really we don't. Also, to note, I later got used to the Chinese voices. Besides this, the voice acting itself was horrible, often making it confusing to understand what emotion a character is trying to show.

Now, besides pretty much everything about this show being terrible for an anime that was released in 2016, I didn't find it difficult to finish all the episodes in one day. Why? Very simple. The short length of the episodes, and the straightforwardness of the plot made it very easy to binge this series. Yet I'm sure this wasn't intentional by the studio when they were making it.

If you have some free time, nothing to watch, and just want to relax for a bit, this anime is okay for that. Yet if you're looking for a deep plot, good pacing, and animation, stay away from this one.

As of this review (May 2021), the current score for this anime is 7.2 stars. This definitely does not deserve such a high rating, it's just inexplicable. Story 5/10 It's basically just your any other magic school anime with a bit of isekai. MC is from a common, weak family but has a lot of potential with his dual attributes. Then, in just a few episodes, he can grow to become super strong and basically win 30 other rich students. Why? that's just cos the MC is super lucky, and the story depicts every other character as shit. Art 4/10 There's nothing anything good about the art.Sure, compared to the usual Chinese cartoons, the art and animation certainly stand out. Still, the art is severely lacking in many ways, and the magic just feels normal.

Sound 3/10

I just really dislike how the Chinese language sounds. No offense to China, but every character sounds like a proud arrogant bastard. There is not a single time where you can hear a trace of despair, madness, or anxiety.

Character 3/10

This gotta be the worst part of this show. Every side character is just there to support the MC and help him grow. And every antagonist all follows the same principle: From rich, prominent family, arrogant and underestimates the MC and end up losing to him. So, other than the MC, the other characters are just boring, with little character development.

Enjoyment 4/10.

Yeah, so this might be enjoyable to some, but definitely not for me

Overall 4/10

Despite everything I said, I have seen plenty of worse isekai anime and in comparison to them, this show is slightly better.

I am just some shut-in weeb, without much experience in reviewing anime, so sorry if this review doesn't end up very informative and concise and sounds much more like me complaining

Ok after watching the first season twice, as well as seasons 2 & 3, and while ignoring all of the flaws with the animation and audio, I would warn anyone from watching this show. The story is so incoherent and gets exponentially worse as the seasons progress. With random plot points introduced at whim and random characters being introduced and then discarded into obscurity by the end of the series, this includes one of the main characters in the show. The sister... Literally the heroine pictured in the show in the 3rd season is forgotten and abandoned for an overwhelming majority of the season andat least she got that much. All the friends, allies, bad guys, rivals, literally all but 3 characters that are developed in the first two seasons are absent in the 3rd season with only a single mention of the main group of characters.

Ignoring both the production quality, which I'm willing to forgive since this studio is new to anime, and the fact that this show has only one fan dub, made by someone (Mizu) who doesn't speak Chinese fluently. In the end the story is written by a 5 year old with ADHD.

TLDR:

If you were hoping for a redeeming story despite the quality abandon that notion now.

do you like incredibly over simplistic anime and straightforwardness in near every aspect?. Then this anime is for you Story/plot in a world of magic our main protagonist is oppressed by the richest and most powerful family in the city. and this rich family hates him so much they try to sabotage his school life completely. of course the creme is to set their son up who is a protegee decked out with pay2win armor and tech to beat our poor main protagonist who somehow can wield Both Fire and Lightning magic at ease to get their boy into the magic sauna that boosts his powers by 999%. -Alsothere are some monsters and wolves in this world aswell but they don't really matter in this season-

Sounds pretty awesome and cant wait to see how this goes down can you?.

-Sadly not. Everything is done so incredibly straightforward and there are no twists or edge of the seat moment.

There is a bunch of useless characters in the show like.

whats the point of the girl in the wheelchair?.

whats the point of the younger lookalike brother of the main character?.

whats the point of the silver haired elite girl from the rich family?.

what happened to the dad that mortgaged his house to get his son into the magic academy?

if you have nothing better to watch you can give this one a try.

Its like drinking water when you have soda and juice next to you.

its tasteless you know its going to just be plain water and it doesn't give you any aftertaste.

TL;DR: You'll have to be very forgiving in an awful lot of aspects to enjoy this show. It doesn't have much going for it other than an interesting premise, unfortunately ruined with a really bad execution. It's also probably more bearable if you watch it at 1.25x speed. — I generally enjoy the "OP MC" trope, and happily watched my share of isekai slop (if you can even call this one an isekai — considering how poorly the setting was introduced/addressed). So naturally I had no grand expectations coming into this, and was fine with the idea of a cliché power fantasy to pass the time. Sadly, this was so appalling that I needed to get it off my chest. I might redo this review if the next season changes my mind, but my initial stance is: Save yourself. Don't waste your time like I did mine.

The pacing is catastrophically bad, managing to be both too fast and too slow (somehow at the same time), while the story is poorly developed. But hey, maybe it's just one of those animes with more of a focus on flashy battles, right? Turns out not... I legitimately started dozing off during what were supposed to be climactic scenes. I've never seen action be so awfully...static.

There are pointless flashbacks of scenes that JUST had happened in the same episode, and frequent scenes of unmoving characters simply staring blankly. There's nonsensical Mahou Shoujo-ish transformation scenes, and repetitive scenes of characters just going "wooow" and "x character is so awesome", or describing the obvious of what is taking place in the middle of battles (instead of actually giving us a proper battle to watch). It all makes it feel like barely anything of substance is happening since you're often staring at characters not moving for over 10 seconds while the camera just pans around to pass the time.

I'd normally be fine with that, but when they're sacrificing the actual meat of the story for it, it hurts. There are big gaps in the narrative, plot threads just dropped while interesting developments are skipped through month long time skips. Many story points are barely addressed, so all the pointless scenes end up way more jarring, because it's like they had their priorities backwards when it came to deciding what deserved screen time.

Speaking of development, characters aren't blessed with any of it either. Everyone is as vapid as they can be, despite how frequently more of them keep popping up. I've seen one-off NPCs in gacha game events having more backstory and personality.

And don't go into this expecting to really see much of a personality in the MC either, since they barely touch on his background, or the struggles in developing his powers, or his progress arc. You basically only get glimpses while most of it happens off-screen.

I can't comment on the source material, but here it kinda feels like the musings of a child. Or almost as if someone was just writing placeholders to come back and build the actual story later. Like when you have a cool idea you don't want to forget, so you just write the bits and pieces of how you want it to go, leaving it to fill in the gaps later... Only no one ever came back to fill them.

I really like Chinese dramas, there are narrative style differences when compared to shows from other countries, but in this case it's not simply a cultural difference, it's just irredeemable bad writing for the most part. Nonsensical arbitrary logic abound (Like no one recognizing the MC when all he did was basically change the order of his name and surname when introducing himself; or some of the rules for the school and duels...), which I could forgive. But there’s no proper narrative arc to speak of, at least for this season; it's more of a straight lifeless line without tension, build-up, or payoff.

The animation? More like an Animatic, it's very choppy. The camera and characters often seemingly animated in different framerates/timings, causing a frequent "stutter" effect in what's already awfully stactic scenes. Characters are also drawn inconsistently, not just in line but in color, some times with dramatically different skin tones than originally portrayed (the MC randomly goes back and forth between ethnicities in the span of a couple of scenes within the same episode, for example).

And if you think the sound direction may save it in any way, guess again. Music and sound choices aren't the best, and the animation and voice acting are jarringly mismatched. You'll hear a very dramatic acting of someone yelling and sobbing, while staring at a mindlessly neutral (or even happy) face on the character itself. A fact only made worse by the dialogue itself already being unnatural.

As others pointed out, it gives 90s vibes but not in a nice, nostalgic way... I was skeptical of the bad reviews. With so many good shows never even getting a second season, I figured an anime with six had got to be at least passable. Unfortunately my faith was severely misplaced.

Even for a low-budget show, this is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I found this anime after i have finish watching quan zhi gao shou. Since i wrote a review about quan zhi gao shou before, i will do it for this anime as well. Story: 10/10 The story is basically about a guy being looked down by others due to his family background. Others though he is very weak but he is actually OP/very strong. Even though the contents about magic is kind of typical, however it is not boring at all. The story provided sufficient excitement and enjoyment. Art: 5/10 The animation/battle scenes is mediocre, it looks kind of outdated and is like those older kind of animation. The character design is alright as well.

Sound: 6/10

The sound effects are alright, those added in the battle scenes are average and be better

Character: 9/10

I do like the main protagonist, cool and OP. The side characters are pretty interesting as well.

Enjoyment:8/10

Despite the art and the sound being mediocre, i do enjoy the anime a lot due to the excellent storyline. I would have rate the anime 10/10 in overall if it has better or above average animation as well as sound effects.

Overall: 8/10

For those who like strong but underestimated main protagonist, i think you will like this anime.

Where do I start? Maybe with the voice acting, Sound:3 I came into this anime with high hopes, but then I heard the voice acting and sound effects. The sound effects are generally poor and don't last very long and the voice acting is so horrendous that you can't tell if there's personality in the character. Since the voice acting is terrible you can't hear any specific emotion and the character doesn't necessarily strike any feelings with you. I think it's like this with all Chinese anime. Story:7 Ok, ok, I get it. The story doesn't seem to be intriguing when watching it but that's because the total thingwas a flop. If you look at the premise it sounds like it's a good story. I just fantasize about how the show could be better if it was a Japanese product. The story is good, just not presented well.

Art:3

The animation for the fight scenes isn't anything special especially for 2016. If you look at zero no tsukaima you could compare it to that. Oh wait... I enjoyed that show. The art style itself doesn't seem 100% consistent which annoys me to the end of the earth but what can ya do.

Character:3

There's really only twp characters that you see and somewhat care for and those are the main character and his father. For the rest of the characters they are just some characters that seem to have no personality and a sheep. The only character with character development is the main character. I can't remember the names and I can't be bothered to memorize them.

Enjoyment:5

Mm-hmmm, where do I start for this part? Oh wait I know the episode length. The episode length is so inconsistent that I thought that someone who can't count made this. The numbers never went over 20 min which betrays the average law of anime watch time because an average anime episode is 24 min. With a show style like this the episodes should be longer between 22-24 min. This is so the show isn't rushed too much and you can actually enjoy the show. The voice acting is so dull and monotone that I thought that someone kept playing a B natural through the entire show. It's not provoking any feelings to connect with the character like a good anime like steins;gate or re;zero. The voice acting for Chinese is just terrible and they should leave it to the Japanese. English is also bad for this too, although it just sounds cheesy.

Overall:5

It's not good or even decent, it's literal trash. If you are a potato you probably enjoyed this garbage play, but if you analyze anime you can see that nothing is really good about this and it doesn't have any redeeming qualities. Even with my brain turned off I can't enjoy this. Unless you count making fun of it.

I don't get the hype behind Quanzhi Fashi. I have heard several people label it as "an amazing anime" and I begrudgingly watched it (not a huge fan of manhua). Oh and let down I was indeed. Like most manhua, the story and background was shounen copy and paste trash. The story was predictable and boring, sometime being stupid enough to get me angry at just how dumb it was. Much of the world was poorly explained or not explained at all, and you are left to try and figure out what is going on, which would be fine if it wasn't basic information likehow each element works or the tiers of magic, etc. The art on the other hand was actually good. Nothing exceptional but definitely above average. The music and sound, except for the magiky space sound thing (I don't know what to call it) were ok and forgettable at best. Characters were just...oof. Characters get brought in and thrown out the window all the time with little to no development. I still don't remember the name of Mo Fan's best friend, as I didn't really care. The characters are just kinda...there? Mo Fan was alright but nothing special. Honestly the only reason this series wasn't lower in score for me is because I actually enjoyed it. I don't know why, the action sequences were the worst I had ever seen. Want some blood pumping action? Chuunibiyou Demo Ko Ga Shitai has better action then this. I seriously have no idea as to how I enjoyed this show even a tiny bit, alas I did so the final score ends up a 4. Whatever. Still, there is no reason to watch this show. The action is trash tier, there is no romance or decent story, the only SEMI-interesting character is Mo Fan, and the list goes on. Watch pretty much any other +7 show on MAL and you'll get better results.

Really good! So impressed! Honestly the only thing holding this anime back is its animation, and the fights are lacklustre because of it. The sound effects are not dramatic nor is the art very vivid, making the fights less exhilarating and amazing as they should be! However, everything else is great, love these kinds of stories! A badass, OP MC who is funny as hell as well. Mo Fan is such a beast that you're gunna love this bloody anime. Chinese dub sounds cool as hell, don't really affect me because I've watched Quan Zhi Gao Shou (The King's Avatar) before watching this. The languageis of a faster pace than usual so you may have to train your reading speed up a few levels, but honestly its very manageable, I never had to pause to look back (though I had to a few times for Quan Zhi Gao Shou xD) But yeah, the Chinese language sounds pretty dope to me, its intonation is slightly different from the usual Japanese people listen to, but they are both great in their own separate ways in my opinion.

If this anime had better production, brah this stuff woulda been 100/10 fo sho fo sho, enjoyed it thoroughly and finished it in one day. Very binge-able. Its crazy to me how barely anyone has watched this. This anime is truly a gem, and season 2 is airing I hear, so be on the lookout for that.

TL;DR: OP MC, Dope storyline, Surprises his peers with his badass skills, dope as hell, only thing lacking is the production quality or else this anime would be 100/10. This is a gem, Chinese dub ain't a problem, go ahead and watch now.

Thanks boys, see you!

Despite all the trouble I’ve gone through to watch this anime and ending up getting something with terrible animation and art. Quanzhi Fashi was indeed a spectacular anime that I, a person who doesn’t really like these kinds of stuff, enjoy. Quanzhi Fashi is nothing more but a 3 seasoned anime about an OP Mc who has plot armor and all the things an OP Mc has. The anime doesn’t really show him as “incredibly OP” but more of “Will become OP fast.”, and I think that’s the reason why I like the show. I don’t really know how to explain this anime. It’s simplyjust a jackpot for those who are craving for OP MC. All he does is improve himself to become OP and get OP things as he gradually improves.

Recommended to those who are seeking for OP MC anime.

P.S. You must watch the show at the right place or else you’ll get a bad experience from watching it.

Ok, lets give this an honest review. I won't be doing the normal format for my reviews b'c i wanna be lazy today. Story: Nothing special, op mc enters school as underdog - becomes most powerful with a hidden technique - its not like we've seen this anywhere before....... wait.................. Art: Cool FX, cool monsters, not much to note past that Sound: Voice acting is average at best, sound fx is nice with the magic though Characters: Boring, archetypal, generic characters who seem more intent on pissing the fuck off instead of fighting the one thing they trained to do (kill the baddie monsters). MC has a boring assrivalry with multiple enemies. The character layout was confusing and had me asking WTF is going on at certain points.

Enjoyment: Meh i like watching OP MC's, ill be honest, not much to this rating, take it with a grain of salt.

Overall: If you want OP MC, go for this show. If you want a quality show with intersting layered personalities and not some copout of a story by the second season, I'd not recomment this.

Ok, so I am the type of person who sees the good in the bad. We can all agree that this anime lucks so much, but gives so much. Thought the quality of the anime, events, story, characters might be low, we can all agree that this anime has so much potential. Is not great, but it is so good to watch. With patience, will and with an open mind you can see the potential of this anime and you will enjoy it. Everyone loves a hero. Everyone loves those who, from dirt they get up and shake the world. This is what this anime is givingyou, a chance to thrive for the main character in his path of making the world a better place for his father and his step sister. All thought he has an incredible power and he is unique, he uses it for good, and he is humble.

So yea, you may not agree with me, it has ups and downs, but overall is an awesome story, a good trip. So go and watch this anime and be there for the main character while he discovers himself and fights for others, you have 4 seasons to see so, have fun.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover" - try to see past of the curtain and you will love this anime. Trust me. I am waiting for season 5.
