Are you searching for good, classic fantasy? Then Tobira o Akete is for you! You will not find anything very original here but, hey! The fun is here! Story: 7 A good, solid story, although a classic one. A girl with psychic powers and two esper boys are transported to a medieval fantastic world and the girl learns she's the savior from this world, a reincarnation of a legendary princess with magic powers. Classic? Hell yes, but there is quite a lot of surprises here and there and the rythm of the story is very good. Art: 7 Classic and quite good for its time. Nothing bad and thecolors are quite good.

Excellent backgrounds with evocative power.

The strong point of this anime. The musics are very 80's, with a very good song included in the middle and the end.

Definitely was a good time for japanese pop and music, then. The action musics are excellent and dynamic.

Characters: 7

Although they are all classic, two stand out. Landin, the "dark elf" with a shaddy appearance that welcomes the heroin in this strange new world, has a an interresting behavior and motivations.

La Midin dimida, the "ogre princess", is a kind of Sheris (from the Lodoss war series, best Fantasy anime ever) with a more "manly" manner of speaking. She is strong and charismatic (and especially beautiful!).

The heroine, Neko, is quite interresting in itself, for when her past is revealed to us, all can relate to her.

Enjoyment: 8

Solid action and adventure, good characters, excellent music. what do you want more? You also have a bit of humor and drama. All in all, very well paced.

Kind of a must see for all the old anime fans. Not a classic as Lodosss, but a solid enjoyment comes from watching this anime that is not put to shame compared to a lot of recent series.

I even thought at first that this movie would be average, but it's bad. I only watched this movie because I translated it into my language, Portuguese. I didn't know what it was about because I didn't read the synopsis. This anime is basically a generic Isekai, only from the 80s. I like old anime, but that doesn't mean I will like anything. The story is very cliché, and there is nothing great about it. Well, it would be average if it wasn't so obvious who the villain is. The villain is literally a guy who is not happy with the peace in the world and decided to makea mega plan to start a war.

The movie is basically that. A generic Isekai with a not very good conclusion.

The best thing about this movie is the character design. I like the design of old anime.

The characters are not great, but they are not bad.

The animation is pretty average for a movie.

I don't even remember the OST.

Anyway, it is just a random bad movie I picked up and wasted my time translating. I hope someone watches it, at least. Haha
