After Asia Argento disappears in a burst of light a Devil named Shalba Beelzebub appears on scene who claims to have just killed Asia by sending her into the Dimensional Gap where the airless vacuum will have killed her. Xenovia Quarta tearfully attempts to avenge Asia using her Durandal and Ascalon combination but is easily knocked aside by Shalba who also kills his one time ally Diodora Astaroth after he mentions the New and Old Factions. Issei Hyoudou enters a state of utter disbelief refusing to believe Asia's dead. Ddraig informs Rias Gremory and her group that if they want to live then they will leave now, before Issei initiates the Juggernaut Drive. Meanwhile Creuserey Asmodeus arrives on the battlefield outside and attempts to confront Azazel and his Down Fall Dragon Spear before they are interrupted by Sirzechs Lucifer who kills Creuserey without mercy. More pressing matter's become apparent though as Azazel detects the Juggernaut drive's activation. Issei enter's a incomplete Juggernaut drive while fighting Creuserey, strangely enough not only using his own power of Boost but also Divide and the Ability to Stop Time to dominate and destroy Shalba with the "Longinus Smasher". Still not calmed down however Issei continues to rampage. The Vali Team arrive on scene bringing with her Asia whom they had happened upon by chance in the Dimensional Gap. Vali and Rias decide to work together to try and calm Issei down, Vali making use of his own Juggernaut Drive to match Issei and drain away his aura with Rias reaches out to him to pull him back to reality. Once Issei has calmed down both the Gremory group, the Vali group and Ophis, who claims to have removed a curse from Issei, witnesses the arrival of Great Red before Issei finally collapses from exhaustion.
