Reviews for Non Non Biyori: We're Going to Okinawa

If you enjoyed the series, then you'll enjoy this just as much. The Non Non Biyori OVA is essentially episode 13 of the show. They didn't really deviate from the usual setting and characters. I won't bother summarizing since the provided synopsis pretty much tells you everything you need to know. I was pretty hyped to see more of this show and was not disappointed. More of our favorite characters. More countryside eye candy. Great soundtrack. Beautiful wildlife sounds. Well timed comedy. Everything that made the series great. If you need more relaxation in your life or are anxiously awaiting season two, then this OVA will not disappoint. That'sabout all I can say about this. Also known as the 13th episode of season 1, there is absolutely no reason to watch this. It's a troll episode. This was made 4 years before the NNB movie. At the time, they didn't know whether S2 (NNB Repeat) would be made, let alone the movie or S3 (NNB Nonstop). Early on in this episode, the cast wins a trip to Okinawa. They then spend the rest of the episode preparing for the trip, and it ends when they're on the plane, before they land. The movie re-animates much of this episode with a higher budget, and by the 14th minute of the movie, the casthas landed in Okinawa. Now that the movie exists, just watch it after S1 or S2, but before S3. This now only serves as a relic for the morbidly curious, who want to compare scenes from this episode against the movie.

*Spoiler warning!* *Short review!* Story/Plot 7/10 - Not much to say about the plot. It focused around everyone getting ready for a trip to Okinawa, which doesn't even happen in the episode! It was simple enough but also pretty enjoyable! Art/Animation 6/10 - The art and animation are the same as the first season. But, for some reason the sight I was watching it on had terrible resolution. Therefore, I gave it a 6/10 instead of the 7/10 I gave the first season on Art/Animation. Sound 6/10 - Same as the last season.Characters/Personalities 7/10 - Same as the last season not much to say about this

Enjoyment/Overall 6/10 - It was pretty good and enjoyable. But, the cliff-hanger bothered the HECK out of me! >:(
