Reviews for Stainless Night
Back to AnimeWATCH OUT! This review and rating is based on Hentai scale. Parental discretion is advised. ALL RIGHT! I want to make one thing perfectly clear: Normally, this Hentai would get a 10 outta 10 in all categories (since i'm addicted to yuri.) But i try to be more "criticaller" (if that is a word ;D) on this review :) STORY Oh. A Yuri Hentai, huh? So you may expect to recieve a Cocktail mixed with love, eroitc, feelings and chocolate, right? More or less. Linea (something like a high-improved, realistic, female human robot) awakes after 10 years from a capsule. Three girls, who were going to a house inthe countryside to do a little vacation, find Linea near the house. The three girls welcome her pretty warmly. They also try to get her memories back, of course. Later, a second female robot appears. Her goal is a high-improved chip. Linea owns it.
MY GUESSES
IT'S YURI TIME! :D All right. In my personal oppinion, the story is pretty good, especially the end were the feelings appear like a entrence from a wrestler with a lot of pyro.
The animations and the graphics are awesome! I would like to know, when Stainless night has been released, because it looks like a "vintage Hentai" (i relay on the graphics) but they'r fluent and perect.
The soundtrack is OK, especially the scenes were the feelings are taking place. Sweet, smooth and relaxing piano sounds appear just then.
Oh! And the "censorshi"p is pretty intersting! For that reason you should've seen "Stainless night". The "private parts" aren't shown in the sex scenes at all. They show other kinds of graphics then... Argh! It's hard to describe. You have to see it, to understand it =)
RATING
I already mentioned, that my oppinion may not be the same like the rest of the world, but i think that Stainless night is a "Must see" Yuri Hentai. Typically for Yuri are, of course, the feelings, but that doesn't mean, that the animation or the graphics have got bad qualities or something like that, no. The producers decided to focus on the story AND on the animationquality and the graphics. But i need to point out, that Stainless night would've been waaay better, if it would've got more "character deepness".
My private Rating is 10/10 Points, no doubt! :)
And as a "standard Hentai Fan" i'll give it 8/10 Points.
If u ask me, this is a Must see (Rhyme ;))
**SPOILER AT THE END** For the most part I liked this and found the sex scenes between the main couple lovely and sensual. As someone else mentioned, the censoring was also pretty different and almost artistic. Everything was very soft and I appreciated that there wasn't the usual high-pitched moan-screeching often encountered in H movies that makes me feel the need to turn my volume almost all the way down. I actually found myself turning up the volume which almost never happens. The artistic style was also very good despite the age of the film, and I loved that there were no huge unrealistic breasts oranything like that which can distract from my enjoyment.
**SPOILER PART**
But...there was one aspect that just ruined the entire movie for me and if I had known beforehand I would never have watched this, so I want to mention for others who might be upset as I was... Sigh.

The dog gets hurt. :<
This hentai is for yuri lovers. No women are going to be penetrated by men in this hentai. If this is a problem for you then I’m sorry. This hentai dates from 1995 so the quality and animation style isn’t like today. But to be perfectly honest, I like old style animation. So 1 minute into this hentai and I already love it. The animation is beautiful, its starts off beautifully with a capsule rising from the sea, you get a nice view of the beach and the sun. You get a view of the character Linea’s beautiful eyes, there’s a beautiful background music playing, it’s notlike the hentai of today.
The other characters are three women:
Misuzu the “senpai”
Aki who looks like a boy because of the short hair. I find her to be the hottest character, is there something wrong with me?
Sayaka the one with the glasses, and her dog Lui
They are on vacation at a research center. Not sure if they're lesbians, but I know they like to fck each other. There seems to be some kind of love triangle between the 3: Aki wants Misuzu, but Misuzu wants Sayaka who is shy.
During the night Sayaka finds Linea in the woods and is instantly aware that she’s an android.
But later Sayaka will find out more about Linea, like the fact that she has a dick, oh yeah. They make love.
So there is another female android after Linea who is after a super chip inside Linea. She rapes Aki in the woods (off camera, damn!) I wonder if she has a penis aswell?
Conclusion
STORY
This hentai focuses more on telling the story than the sex. There are maybe two H scenes in each episode. They show as little genitals as possible, which is normal for a hentai of its time. So if you’re not into that and you’re mostly into the hentai of today where they show the genitals a lot (although they’re usually censored) then you might not like this. 9/10
CHARACTERS
Fun characters. They aren’t idiots like the characters that we see in hentai today. These girls are fun, interesting. Their relationship with each other is developed. 9/10
SOUND
There is very soothing music playing in the background. Unlike the hentai of today. 9/10
ART
Nothing wrong with the art unless you’re not into the old style of animation. The bodies are drawn well, the tits aren’t freakishly huge. But I don’t get to see enough genitals. 6/10
My only problem with this hentai is the sex scenes. I like a story but I also like a good sex scene where I can see everything. Aki, my favorite, doesn’t even get a sex scene. Despite that the sex scenes were still hot.
I rate this anime somewhere between Good and Very Good. Mainly for the story.
Rate a 6 English dubbed genre: Romance Censorship: Unclear ( i.e. placement blocking) Progression no matter what it is or what for will have a positive and negative effect. So, it comes as no surprise that someone will destroy another happiness for their or others benefits. Which is precisely what happens. Story- 5/6 out of 10 Given how simply put i could reconstruct the plot without much in spoilers shows this anime as nice as it was lacked in plot. A real soft heart story that is ruined a bit for being dry. Also, the 'project's name was a real tip-off (inside joke) to a big portion of thename. I think it would have been better if the name was not as obvious but more masking. That would in turn add more suspense or backbone to the story. For who really wants to know what is coming?
Art
The women and background were cute and even the pet. It would be heart to look at anything art-wise shown and point out flaws eyesore related. A real nice mix for the love plot.
Sound
Granted at first some of the voices and throat noises were a bit of annoyance at first but as the show progressed it was hard to deny how nice it actually was. For not only did it allowed for easy character identification but added a flair to the romance mood. The show of innocence and young love if you will.
Character
Fair. Sure, there was one or two characters among the group that had good background while others had the basics but it had to be that way. This is one of those events where audience focus becomes narrow. For example say the news channel did a report on Bigfoot. Would you really care who the person was that made the sighting or would you care about the alleged Bigfoot? Sure, you would question if the person is making it up or not but raw truth you would want to see the proof (Bigfoot).
Enjoyment
A nice tale at generating a little 'heat' but nothing too wild to frighten you.
The first episode of this hentai is like this weird psychological romance that this android and researcher have, but in a really interesting amd subtly done way. There’s powerful and scary references to sexual trauma, PTSD, and the pure evil that powerful people often afflict on women, just how far they’ll go for pleasure. After watching so much anime lately that likes to wears their emotions on their sleeves, just a lot of colorful, bouncy stuff, Stainless Night is refreshing for its dreamlike and sometimes even somber, but not out-of-place tone. It’s warm and cozy but also cold and grounded. I feel like compared toa lot of anime I’ve watched lately, Stainless Night has this tense and layered narrative that doesn’t seem like much at first but definitely had thoughtful intent
The H scenes are for the most part, romantic, realistic and animated beautifully.
Episode 2 honestly sucks though for me. Other than the elaboration on Linia’s backstory, it just takes a really nasty turn for all of the characters and both the villain and ending are weak. The H scenes also weren’t as emotionally compelling, though the animation was still stellar.
I wish I could rate this higher but it just doesn’t have enough time to grow and develop the characters for its context.
The scene where Linia electrocutes the other android during sex is extremely well-done. Grotesque, horrifying, highlights the sleaziness of where she came from and you can feel how traumatic it is.
Watch episode 1, then watch the part of episode 2 with Linia’s backstory and you’re pretty much fine.
